Some of the state's most promising gallopers had a hit out at Gawler this morning as they look towards kicking off their campaigns in the spring.

Trial Three

Quality stayer Jim's Journey held off some progressive horses in his trial win, showing that he might have a good season ahead as a six-year-old. With a Bit of Dash ran home well showing that she will be a contender this spring while Beautiful Flyer was also impressive running second.

Trial Four

I am Zelady was very impressive in her first hitout for the Phillip Stokes yard. She ran seventh in the Group 1 UBET Classic in May for Joe Pride and looks as if she is a great addition for the new stable.

Trial Six

Tony McEvoy won five of the ten trials on the card at Gawler and the unraced three-year-old Over Exposure looked to be the pick of the bunch running from last to first to record an eyecatching four length victory.
