Top trio side-by-side in Goodwood

South Australian top sprinters Gytrash, Behemoth and Kemalpasa will jump alongside each other in the $502,250 Group 1 Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

Gordon Richards’ Gytrash drew perfectly in barrier four, with Kemalpasa drawn alongside in gate five, and Behemoth to start from the middle of the line, drawn barrier six in a field of just 11 horses.

Last-start TAB Classic (Sangster Stakes) winner Instant Celebrity will jump from the outside gate with star rider Jamie Kah in the saddle.

The Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes-trained Dirty Work will jump from the inside alley in his farewell to racing with Melbourne Cup winning jockey Jye McNeil booked to ride.

"He's great, he's well and done everything right,” Wayne Hawkes said on RSN Central.

“It's his swansong on Saturday and hopefully he goes out a winner. (He’s) been a dream to have around the stable and he'll be sadly missed."

The McEvoy stable will have three runners.

Last-start McKay Stakes winner Savatoxl appears the race leader after drawing barrier two with Barend Vorster riding, while stablemate Pretty Brazen is drawn alongside in gate three – with Luke Currie booked to ride – coming off a solid effort when fourth behind Instant Celebrity in the TAB Classic.

Jason Holder, who was narrowly beaten aboard Gytrash last year, will ride Dollar for Dollar, who drew wide in gate 10 in what will be his third run back from a spell. Damien Oliver will ride Viridine (barrier nine) for the Godolphin stable.
