Race 1, No. 2
Should have won a maiden by now but looks perfectly placed. He was runner-up at Penola two starts back and then stuck on well at Gawler last time. He’s deep in a preparation but won’t find many better chances to break through.
Race 5, No 5
Good mare fitter two runs back from a spell. The rise to 1430m looks ideal, she draws out but should be ready to return to winning form with Jacob Opperman in the saddle.
Race 3, No. 5
Former Tasmanian galloper who hasn’t raced for 884 days but has been in the top two at five of his eight starts. Does have the benefit of two recent trials under his belt and is in the very good hands of Daryl Dodson.
