RACE 1 - 12:45PM Quayclean Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)
PETRA’S GIRL has been placed at two of three starts and looks to have found a winnable race here first-up from a spell. She trialled well, draws out but has natural early speed and should take some beating here with Todd Pannell taking the ride. ELSA’S PRIDE won a recent trial here ahead of her debut for Matt Seyers. She draws OK and looks well placed in a race like this. VIVA LA VIDA is another recent trial winner making her debut for Bill Bogarts and must be respected. THE BAILIFF is on debut for Will Clarken and was placed in two trials in July before running 7th behind Boogie Nights in his latest at Morphettville. He draws a good middle gate and should well. GALACTIC ROCK hasn’t done a lot in three Victorian runs but improved in a recent Murray Bridge trial.

RACE 2 - 1:20PM Grand Syndicates - Join Team Grand Today! Class Two Handicap (1550 METRES)
KING AVIATOR is an interesting runner coming to Adelaide after winning at Albury and Hobart last time when he was well backed. He draws out by Todd Pannell rides and should take some beating. AFRICAN AWESOME looks the danger coming off a good effort running 4th behind My Khalifa at Murray Bridge, he is unplaced in three runs on the Parks. GREY VITALITY hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent runs and maps to get a good run here. TORRATORIO was a winner at Balaklava last time out in maiden company, BRAZEN EAGLE won a maiden over the same trip on the same day running quicker time. ANOTHER FREE GLASS has been disappointing.

RACE 3 - 1:55PM Weslo Security Maiden Plate (1950 METRES)
Putting the pressure on Todd Pannell early here with CAMDEN who has been runner-up at 3 of 7 starts and was just grabbed by Brazen Eagle last time at Balaklava he jumps to the 1950m and looks hard to beat. Likewise COVERED CALL has been around the mark in maiden class was placed at Murray Bridge two starts back the extra trip should really suit him after getting well back behind Torratorio at Balaklava last time. SALUTE THE STARS draws the inside and was placed behind I Need A Drink at Murray Bridge last time. NELIAKA gets blinkers going on for the first time here but needs to lift. ITALIAN REDWOOD made ground after being specked at odds last time.

RUN AND TELL races well here and was 6th in a Saturday grade race behind Zoulah three starts back before running 2nd behind Tupoleu here two starts back. He gets blinkers for the first time and draws wide but should give a race like this a shake with the claim. SMART CHARGE draws well but will get back, she was very good two runs back and specked at a price behind Samesyn last time. DAWNBURST has been knocking on the door running two 2nds before running down the track behind My Khalifa last time. She draws out but should be in the finish. MAGICLANE was a Balaklava winner two starts back before chasing home Muffla last time. She draws a middle barrier and has solid claims.

RACE 5 - 3:05PM Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville - Oct. 8 - Nov 5 Benchmark 54 Handicap (1250 METRES)
FALLOW went to Roxby and bolted in last time. His previous form was in harder races and he gets in OK after the claim in a race lacking depth. BENZ BARON showed ability early and was thrown in the deep end behind Illation in the Guineas in May. He resumes and must be respected. MYSTIC STORM was too good for Alpine Fun at Gawler last time and should be in the mix here despite a wide gate. SANDCAT was a Gawler winner two starts back before a good run behind Kong there. She draws out but should go well. FRIENDLY GHOST had specking at odds and just missed behind Sandcat last time. WYNTER LADY was good behind Alpine Flyer two starts back before running last when favourite at Balaklava last start.

RACE 6 - 3:40PM Fleurieu Milk Company Benchmark 58 Handicap (1950 METRES)
HOUSE SPOUSE brings some OK Victorian form here. She jumped favourite when 6th on a heavy track at Warracknabeal last time out and looks well placed first-up for the leading Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable. EXALTED RUTH was very good first-up for Garret Lynch when only grabbed late by Rapid Raiser. She can take some running down from the inside gate with the claim. MALINONG CLUB was a Strathalbyn winner three starts back and was six weeks between runs when 8th behind Melody Man last time. Out in trip looks ideal. TRUMPSTA has been around the mark and must be respected here, he still has plenty of weight after the claim. MULGA LIL just missed behind Don’t Dismiss at Gawler last time and must be given some thought. The Garret Lynch pair of SAWTELL and TIZA are capable.

BENEVOLENT is an import who was OK at her local debut last month. She’s been back to the trials beating Angel Like at Balaklava and looks to have found a winnable race with the claim. GRAND HOST has solid form for a race like this running 2nd behind Magic Phantom at Murray Bridge before chasing home the talented Taunting there last time. He draws a nice gate and won’t be far away. LAMOREE was sent out favourite when 3rd behind Hey Michael at Balaklava last time and must be respected here. SEA WITNESS looked very good winning a recent Morphettville trial beating Behemoth and must be respected despite the wide gate. OLD TIME ROCK has been around the mark and draws a nice gate with a claim. MAGIC PHANTOM can improve.
