The Wayne Francis and Glen Kent trained galloper makes his return to racing having won four of his past seven starts, the latest at Morphettville in May before going for a break.
“It’s his first trip away from home,’’ Kent said.
“It’s all new for him at Flemington in a box compared to a paddock back home.
“We just wanted to travel him this time around and he’ll tell us where he wants to go,’’ he said.
The race also sees the return to racing of the Will Clarken and Niki O’Shea-trained Beau Rossa.
The 2021 Group 1 Memsie Stakes runner-up hasn’t raced since running last in the Listed Durbridge Stakes at Morphettville in January and finished fourth behind Argentia at his only start at Flemington last year in the Group 3 Rising Fast.
Murray Bridge horseman Michael Hickmott has booked superstar jockey James McDonald to partner Fancify who has drawn perfectly over the 1700m race earlier in the day.
