RACE 1 - 12:10PM Sportsbet Same Race Multi Maiden Plate (1600 METRES)

PAPPIANA comes off a good effort beaten 4.6 lengths behind Goldrush Guru at Morphettville on the Parks. She draws a middle gate, jumps from 1250m to the mile and gets her chance to break through. Stablemate SILENT EMMY is on debut for the Clarken/O’Shea yard and is a well-bred 5yo who has been to the trials four times and was beaten 8.9 lengths in her latest. RHINESTONE RORY was runner-up at Gawler two starts back behind Kian and then again 2nd last time behind Savsonic at Murray Bridge when he made good ground from a back. He draws out but that looks good form for this, only query would be 1800m back to 1600m. GILDED AGE looked to be been working towards a win before a disappointing effort when 11.7 lengths 6th in the Savsonic race at Murray Bridge last time. EXTRA BOUNCE was OK beaten a half-length in the Kian race on debut at Gawler.

BOUNCING BEYOND had specking on debut when beaten 6.6 lengths behind Palm Of Jumeirah before following up with an OK effort when he was caught wide throughout beaten 6.7 lengths behind I Loverain at Gawler last time. He draws out, the form out of that race is solid and he should give this a shake. David Jolly has three runners. THE PLASTICS was good at Murray Bridge on debut when beaten 3 lengths in 4th behind Truly Elsa. He draws a nice gate and gets the 3kg claim. GOONSUN is a well-bred 4yo out of former smart mare Goon Serpent and he finished off nicely in a recent Morphettville trial. SEVEN SHOTS was OK at Balaklava last time when beaten 4.8 lengths behind Astromancer and maps well from a good gate. PRODIGAL LAD was OK beaten 3.5 lengths behind Watchme Win at Murray Bridge two runs back before he was beaten 6.5 lengths behind In Love there last time. PAINTED PONY was specked at odds and was OK when beaten 1.2 lengths behind Valentina Charm at Murray Bridge in May and was good in a recent Morphettville trial. PENDING HEART was runner-up at Gawler twice before he had specking at odds and was well beaten behind Goldrush Guru on the Parks.

RACE 3 - 1:20PM The Times & Fleurieu Sun Class One Handicap (1100 METRES)

TOGETHERFOREVER won her maiden at Ballarat in April when a $1.30 favourite and was good at Murray Bridge two runs back running 3rd behind Orlabent. He followed with a luckless effort there Orla bent last time beaten 3.8 lengths behind Mazovia after running in trouble into the straight and gets his chance here. MIDNIGHT POKER is a former Victorian who was good second-up in SA when beaten 1.1 lengths behind Aztec Dancer at Murray Bridge. She draws a good gate and should take some beating here. FREE BEER was runner-up behind Sir Sway on the Parks in March and that is very good form for a race like this. He was spelled after running 2nd behind Lunasha at Bordertown and the blinkers go off. NURYS was $25-$41 first-up form a short break when she dived through to beat The Golden Fist who has won in city grade since. She draws out but should be in the mix again. ROYAL TELEPHONE showed improvement at her second run for the Cahill stable when 3rd behind Highland Harley at Warracknabeal. PULAMBI resumes from a good barrier and has been placed at three of five runs here. THE BULL MCCABE ran well when 2nd behind Kaido at Murray Bridge last time and was a Clare winner in December. ALEKHINE’S GUN was a winner here last December beating Tippa which is good form for a race like this.

RACE 4 - 1:55PM Pestka Signs Class One Plate (2050 METRES)

SAVSONIC was good first-up for Stephen Theodore when beaten 1.1 lengths in 2nd behind Tyusix at Balaklava over 1400m before jumping to the 1800m at Murray Bridge and bolting in by 5.8 lengths last time. If she can repeat that, she should win again. PUISSY GALORE comes off a solid effort beaten 2.6 lengths behind Delta Tango at Morphettville. She draws a wide gate but is a winner here. MANDINO was third in the Savsonic race beaten 7.4 lengths. He draws a nice barrier and does meet the winner 2kg better at the weights. WHISKEY SOUR has been racing well and was 2nd behind Hot Fluish at Gawler two runs back before he was well beaten at Balaklava last time. KETCHIKAN has been placed at his past three since winning a Gawler maiden and was beaten 0,7 lengths behind Hot Flush last time at Gawler.

RED SEQUOIA has been in Saturday grade at his past three and is a four-time winner here on his home track (three of those this trip). He was good at Morphettville two runs back when 2nd behind Holmes and gets some weight relief. KING OF AVALON draws a nice barrier and was a Gawler winner three starts back and comes off a 2.9 length 3rd behind Sherman Dyer at Murray Bridge. SALUTE THE STARS has been placed at seven of his 11 starts here on his home track but has never won here. He was good last start when beaten 0.8 lengths behind Flying Assassin and draws a good gate. ROCKBARTON ROAD ran 2nd behind Inordinate at Gawler before another OK effort there when beaten 5.1 lengths behind Vee Rod last time. He should be somewhere in the mix. ALPINE BEAU was a Murray Bridge winner four runs back and beaten 3 lengths in 11th behind Vee Rod on the Parks last time.

FIAMETTE is a two-time winner here who was OK behind Hateech at Murray Bridge two runs back before she made good ground towards the inside when beaten 1.5 lengths behind Flying Assassin there last time. She gets an inside gate and her chance to find winning form. ALLEGEDLY stuck on well when beaten 3 lengths behind Bywaters Road at Balaklava last time out. He draws out but should be in the mix. HOBO BOB has a good record here with two wins and placing from four starts and could be an improver. He was a big keen through the early stages behind Hateech last time. JEWEL DE LUNE was well beaten behind Vee Rod at Gawler last time but her first-up run when beaten 2.2 lengths in 3rd behind Hateech was solid enough to be in the mix here.

EIGHT ON THE DOT was in the market and ran well beaten 2.4 lengths behind Even Sharper at Balaklava when he got a long way back. He draws a good gate here on his home deck and should take some beating. LINES OF GLORY has been racing consistently and was a Mount Gambier winner last time out beating AEROETTE. He gets the claim from a good gate and should be in the finish again. LOVE FROM LUCY gets blinkers again and could be ready to improve after two runs back. PRIDE OF SHALAA was a Gawler winner three starts back and can be in the mix. SIRMAZE could be an improver.

PINCHBECK was solid in the market first-up from a break when beaten 4.4 lengths behind Gusty Way. He draws out but Jake Toeroek goes on here and he should be in the mix. DAWNBURST was beaten 0.9 lengths behind Dunalley at Murray Bridge and then beaten 2.5 lengths behind Falanghina there last time. She draws the inside and should be in the finish. JACOBS GATE was too good for Tenterk at Balaklava two runs back and then OK at Gawler when beaten 2.1 lengths behind Charm Slinga. He draws a good gate and gets in well after the claim. COVERED CALL was OK at Balaklava last time when beaten 3.7 lengths behind Fizique. He’s won two and been placed once in five runs here and draws a gate to give this a big shake back sharply in trip. DARE TO BE FREE has a good record here in the money at four of five runs and was sent out a $5.50 favourite when beaten 4.8 lengths behind Mr Trafficanti at Murray Bridge last time. LUCILLE ROSE was an impressive winner here in February when she led throughout. She comes in fresh after being beaten 9.5 lengths behind L’Esperance Rock at Balaklava last time out. LIMBERING showed improvement at her latest when beaten 2.3 lengths behind Gusty Way. She draws out but can run well.

L’ESPERANCE ROCK is racing in great form with three wins from her past four and was too good for Blixten at Balaklava last time. She draws a sticky gate but looks the horse to beat again. STREETCAR APOLLO is lightly-raced and was on speed when beaten 2.2 lengths behind Gusty Way at Murray Bridge last start. He draws a good gate and should be in this for a long way. PRETENTIOUS LASS was a good Gawler winner two starts back and then worked home OK when 5.8 lengths behind Whenthedeelingsdun. She’ll need some luck from a wide gate. ABIT RATTLEY was a Balaklava winner in June and OK when beaten 3.4 lengths behind Mr Trafficanti at Murray Bridge last time. GARRIRE was placed at Murray Bridge two runs back behind Harbouring and then beaten 4.7 lengths behind Even Sharper at Balaklava. He draws a good gate and should run well.
