At Racing SA we're looking for a star videographer/video editor/producer to help us tell the incredible stories within our industry. Rare opportunity to join a large in-house team to work within one of the state's largest sports communities.

The Videographer/Video Producer/Editor will support the Communications team with  

  • Content videography and occasionally photography for Racing SA
  • Drone operation - videography and photography using supplied drones.
  • Video editing - editing Video News Release’s (VNR) off-site to be shared with external teams and media
  • Be adaptable to styles to meet the needs across a range of content platforms including social, digital, website, internal and broadcast (including commercials and news packages)
  • Work closely with Content and Communications teams to produce outstanding, targeted content to meet our needs and objectives 
  • Work to a production schedule and be able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work, during normal and atypical work hours
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key Racing staff and also key racing participants
  • Maintain Racing SA branding standards and guidelines on all productions
  • Be a key member of the Racing SA team, offering concepts, styles and ideas to achieve content outcomes

Racing SA - Industry Regulatory Veterinary Surgeon

Racing SA is the governing body for thoroughbred horse racing throughout South Australia. Its responsibilities include commercial, regulatory, integrity and equine welfare leadership of the industry.

Applications are invited for the position of Industry Regulatory Veterinarian based in Adelaide.

The position reports to the General Manager Integrity and has responsibility for providing high level scientific and clinical veterinary expertise to safeguard the welfare of Thoroughbred horses and the integrity of the South Australian thoroughbred racing industry.

Core responsibilities include

  • Officiating at race meetings, official trials and approval to race jump-outs, as required, and provide veterinary advice, inspect and examine participating horses, and monitor and provide oversight and supervision of sample collection processes.
  • Conducting sampling processes for Racing SA drug testing programs. 
  • The provision of industry advice in relation to veterinary, welfare and drug-related matters. 
  • Representing Racing SA on national committees and working groups.
