CAVALLINO (F. Atkinson) – in the vicinity of the 1000m shifted in and away from OLI ALPINE and tightened the running of KAMALI ROSE. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

CHUCKAMICKY (S. Fawke) – laid out from the 700m until the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

KAMALI ROSE (C. Munro) - jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Near the 1000m was tightened by CAVALLINO.

VALKUR (A. Livesey) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

MR JONES (A. Lindsay) – bumped on jumping away by MOON SERPENT. Rider explained that the gelding was under pressure throughout the event and was disappointing to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

EMME’S SECRET (F. Atkinson) – dislodged its rider en route to the start and galloped riderless for 600m. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed to have done too much work and would be unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice EMME’S SECRET was declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 1.17pm. F. Atkinson was examined by First Care Medical personnel post the event and was passed fit to fulfil her remaining engagements.

ONELOLLY'SENUFF (A. Jordsjo) – contacted on jumping away by NAVY CODE. Laid in, in the straight. Rider reported that the mare laid in throughout the event.

MOON SERPENT (H. Yuen) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and bumped MR JONES.

NAVY CODE (A. Livesey) – jumped away awkwardly, shifted in and contacted ONELOLLY'SENUFF. Trainer, Mr D. Bonetti was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding in relation to its competitiveness. Rider explained that the gelding never travelled throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

The start of this event was delayed approximately two minutes.

ZOUTONS (P. Brewster) - jumped away awkwardly. Laid in, in the straight.

LAILA'S A GEM (D. Caboche) - jumped away awkwardly. In the vicinity of the 1000m was taken in when racing in restricted room to the inside of RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE, which shifted in.

RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE (I. Lam) – in the vicinity of the 1000m shifted in and tightened the running of LAILA'S A GEM. Rider was reminded of her obligations and, in future, to ensure that she only shifts ground when entitled to do so.

NASDANA (C. Tootell) – got its head up on jumping away. In the vicinity of 1000m was obliged to be steadied to avoid the heels of LAILA'S A GEM, which was taken in.

BROMELIA (NZ) (J. Doyle) - slow to begin. Held up from the 300m until in the vicinity of the 200m.

The start of this event was delayed approximately two minutes.

AL RANCHERO (C. Tootell) – bumped on jumping away by LINES OF GLORY. Laid in, in the straight.

CHONCAPE (A. Livesey) – hung out from the 400m. At the entrance to the straight shifted out across the running of RIVER.

LINES OF GLORY (S. Fawke) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and bumped AL RANCHERO. Laid out from the 600m.

RIVER (H. Yuen) – at the entrance to the straight was obliged to be steadied to avoid the heels of CHONCAPE, which hung out.

SASSY ANGEL (I. Lam) - jumped away awkwardly. Laid in, in the straight.

KEEP SWINGING (C. Munro) – laid out from the 600m.

ROCKFORD FILES (P. Brewster) - slow to begin.

The start of this event was delayed approximately three minutes.

ABAN (NZ) (S. Metcalfe) – rider reported that the gelding resented the kick back in the early and middle stages of the event. She added that ABAN (NZ) finished the race of well once it was able to get to the outside of the field in the straight.

TINY REBEL (H. Yuen) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course and was deemed suitable to race. Jumped away awkwardly, shifted in and contacted BERKINSON. Near the 500m had to be eased and shifted wider when it improved onto the heels of SON OF AKEED, which commenced to give ground.

CHEF DE MISSION (C. Tootell) – jumped away awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight. Rider explained that the gelding made excess respiratory noise on return to the scales. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

LADY TUCAN (J. Potter) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and bumped RIVERSIDE ROCK.

BERKINSON (A. Jordsjo) – contacted on jumping away by TINY REBEL and was slow to begin. Laid in, in the straight.

RIVERSIDE ROCK (C. Munro) – near the 200m elected to alter course to the outside of THE MASTER, which was laying in. Rider reported that the gelding did not travel in the early and middle stages; however, let down well from inside the 300m and finished the event off well.

THE MASTER (A. Livesey) – laid in, in the straight.

KATIM'S CLUB (F. Atkinson) – raced keenly in the early stages of the event. Rider explained that the mare travelled well in the early and middle stages; however, when asked for an effort from inside the 600m did not respond to her riding and was disappointing to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

EVENING BRIDE (R. Milnes) - jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin.

GRINZINGER BISHOP (NZ) (A. Livesey) – contacted on jumping away by SPEAKEASY.

RIPPLE EFFECT (NZ) (J. Doyle) - rider explained that the mare never travelled throughout the event and, in her opinion, would be better suited over longer journeys.

SPEAKEASY (C. Tootell) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and contacted GRINZINGER BISHOP (NZ). Momentarily held up rounding the home turn.

LIBERTY BLUE (P. Brewster) – laid out in the straight. Rider explained that the gelding travelled well throughout; however, was a bit once paced when asked for an effort in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

GRINZINGER BURG (NZ) – (C. Munro) – acting on confirmed advice from co-trainer, Ms K. McKerlie, that the mare had mucous discharge from its nostril this morning and would be unsuitable to race, Stewards declared GRINZINGER BURG (NZ) a late scratching at 11.22am. Ms K. McKerlie was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

RICHED (S. Fawke) – laid in, in the straight.

MISTA RAZZLEDAZZLE (C. Tootell) - slow to begin.
