BROWN NOSE DAY LAD (J. Potter) - slow to begin. Failed to maintain contact with the field in the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. 

NAVY CODE (D. Caboche) - jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Failed to maintain contact with the field throughout the event. Trainer, Mr D. Bonetti was advised the gelding must perform to the Stewards’ satisfaction in an Official Barrier Trial prior to a future race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

OLI ALPINE (A. Jorsdjo) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and hampered EIGHTY NINE BELOW. Laid in, in the straight.

CAVALLINO (W. Cave) – in the vicinity of the 1200m shifted in and inconvenienced SCODELARIO. Rider was reprimanded under AR131(a) and advised, in future, to ensure that he only shifts ground when entitled to do so.

SCODELARIO (H. Yuen) – in the vicinity of the 1200m was steadied to avoid to the heels of CAVALLINO.

EIGHTY NINE BELOW (J. Doyle) – on jumping away lost its position when hampered by OLI ALPINE, which shifted out.

LEAF (H. Yuen) – laid out in the early and middle stages of the event.

SCARFACE (P. Brewster) – laid in, in the straight. In the vicinity of the 300m had to be straightened by its rider when the gelding shifted in.

SMART DUDE (A. Livesey) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course as the gelding had not raced since 21 October 2023 and was deemed suitable to race. Laid in, in the straight.

LIFESTYLES (S. Fawke) - slow to begin.

ME NAME'S HARRY (A. Lai) – laid out from the 600m. In the vicinity of the 200m continued to lay out and bumped with SPECTAUR for a number of strides.

SEMINARA (A. Jordsjo) – near the 400m had difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance. Laid out in the straight.

SOCIAL DANCER (C. Tootell) - jumped away awkwardly. Rider explained that she was instructed to take up a forward position in today’s event; however, after jumping away awkwardly, settled behind the pace and travelled well. She added that a run was presented from near the 500m to the inside of ME NAME'S HARRY and that inside the 400m she was able to encourage the filly to improve into a run along the rail. She further added that SOCIAL DANCER was one pace over the final 100m and would benefit from today’s run.

SPECTAUR (D. Caboche) – laid in, in the straight. Inside the 200m bumped with ME NAME'S HARRY for a number of strides.

HARBOURING (S. Fawke) – laid out under pressure in the straight.

SPEAKEASY (C. Tootell) - jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Rider explained that her instructions were to settle midfield. She added that after settling behind the pace, the mare travelled well; however, inside the 800m she was obliged to encourage SPEAKEASY along to maintain its position in the field. She further added that the mare did not let down in the straight as anticipated. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

THE CHAPLAIN (H. Yuen) - jumped away awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride.

SHALAGA (C. Tootell) – laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. Rider explained that the gelding was off the bridle throughout the event and only let down fairly in the straight.

SUPER VALENTINE (D. Caboche) - slow to begin.

TAIPAN TOMMY (H. Yuen) – raced greenly in the straight.

AUGUSTA ROCK (P. Brewster) – laid out from the 800m to the 200m.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT (J. Potter) – laid out rounding the home turn.

ROYAL LANDING (A. Livesey) – lost its near fore plate during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the near foreleg (2/5). Trainer, Mr M. White was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

LAST WAR (J. Doyle) – laid out from the 600m until the entrance to the straight.

OBELOS (GB) (S. Fawke) – reared as the start was affected and as a result was very slow to begin. Trainer, Mr G. Lynch was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding in relation to its barrier manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Correct weight was delayed to allow Stewards to view the vision of the start.

AL RANCHERO (C. Tootell) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

TINY REBEL (H. Yuen) – rider accidentally dropped her whip in the vicinity of the 200m.

CHONCAPE (A. Livesey) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and tightened SEPORIA.

REGAL ROCKET (S. Fawke) - jumped away awkwardly.

MARINA (P. Brewster) – laid out in the straight placing its rider at a disadvantage over the final 100m.

GALAXY FALLS (J. Potter) – slow to begin.

BERKINSON (D. Caboche) – raced keenly in the early stages of the event. In the vicinity of the 1200m was obliged to be eased when it improved onto heels.

SEPORIA (W. Cave) – jump away awkwardly. Short after the start was tightened between TINY REBEL and CHONCAPE.

ALCANNABIE (D. Caboche) – laid out from the 400m.

ALL CLUBS (A. Lai) – laid in under pressure over the final 100m.

DAMAGED (C. Tootell) – hung in from the 500m and as a result the rider was unable to fully test her mount over the final 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SET THE BAR LOW (A. Jordsjo) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course as the mare had not raced for almost 12 months and was deemed suitable to race. Raced in restricted room inside the 400m for a number of strides between DAMAGED and CHEF DE MISSION, which shifted in.

KNICKPOINT (S. Fawke) – shortly after the start lost its position when tightened between ALCANNABIE and CHEF DE MISSION, which shifted in.

CHEF DE MISSION (P. Brewster) – shortly after the start shifted in and tightened the running of KNICKPOINT. Laid out rounding the home turn.

CASTLECOMER (W. Cave) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

RICHED (S. Fawke) – approaching the 1000m raced in restricted room between LUCKY BLUE and VIVA LA VIDA, which shifted in. Laid out, in the straight.

MELMAC (A. Jordsjo) – jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and tightened the running of NASDANA. Laid in, in the straight.

MANDRAGORIAN (P. Brewster) – rider reported that the gelding never travelled throughout today’s event.

JIMMY DA DOZER (W. Cave) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted in and tightened the running of NASDANA.

NASDANA (C. Tootell) – lost its position on jumping away when tightened between MELMAC and JIMMY DA DOZER when both runners shifted ground.

VIVA LA VIDA (H. Yuen) – approaching the 1000m shifted in and the tightened the running the RICHED. Rider was severely reprimanded under AR131(a) and advised, in future, to make a greater effort when her mounts commence to shift ground.
