JAMAICAN GOLD (D. Tourneur) – change of tactics – attempt to gain cover if possible – settled on pace with cover. Inconvenienced near the 300m when contacted and taken in by NOSIE BY NATURE, and as a result altered course to the outside of that gelding to obtain clear ground.

DUBAI NIGHTS (A. Jordsjo) – slow into stride.

MY RICH BOY (S. Logan) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

CROWN MOSHE (J. Eaton) – slow to begin.

SHINY ROCK (C. Rawiller) – rider reported that the gelding raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event, and in his opinion did not handle the track condition. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

WORSFOLD (A. Livesey) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

PEACEMAKER (F. Atkinson) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

LAST GIRL LOVE (D. Tourneur) – slow to begin. Laid out under pressure over the concluding 200m of the event.

FAVOURITE CHILD (J. Eaton) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

DANCING STORM (T. Pannell) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted in onto HARD LEAF.

COLMAR (S. Payne) – rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on more than five occasions prior the 100m and was fined $1000. In determining penalty Stewards had regard for the totality of the use of the whip by S. Payne and noted that he used it on thirteen occasions over the final 100m of the event.

DYER (J. Eaton) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted out contacting HARD LEAF. Inclined to shift about under pressure in the straight and near the 300m shifted in contacting TRIPOD TERROR. Shortly after shifted out and then inside the 100m shifted back in contacting TRIPOD TERROR. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

GREENIDGE HALL (D. Tourneur) – laid out over the concluding 200m.

HARD LEAF (R. Milnes) – inconvenienced on jumping away when tightened between DANCING STORM, which shifted in, and DYER, which shifted out.

TRIPOD TERROR (D. Caboche) – near the 300m was inconvenienced when contacted by DYER. Laid out over the concluding 150m, and inside the 100m shifted out contacting DYER at the same time as that gelding shifted in.

VILLA MARIA (C. Jones) – jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride. Had difficulty maintaining contact with the field. Rider reported that in her opinion the gelding felt shin sore. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg (3/5). Trainer, Mr J. Hyam, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

BEL HOTESSE (S. Logan) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SILENT COMMAND (A. Livesey) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

RED PATROL (NZ) (K. Walters) – hung in under pressure in the straight and inside the 200m shifted in onto AMMO AMOR. Continued to hang in for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SMOKIN' PRINCESS (T. Pannell) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

THREE RINGS (A. Livesey) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed swelling in the off fore pastern. First aid administered. Trainer, Mr C. Reardon, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

TACITO (J. Holder) – rider reported that in his opinion the colt was not suited by the track condition.

TWO KAY KLICK (J. Eaton) – jumped away awkwardly.
