JOHNNY CIGAR (D. Tourneur) - jumped away awkwardly. In the vicinity of the 300m was disappointed when attempting a run between HASTA LA AMNESTY and WARRIOR XENA.

MERCURY FLYER (S. Payne) – laid out under pressure in the straight and over the concluding stages became awkwardly placed on the heels of NAMADJI.

NAMADJI (J. Potter) - rider was reminded of his obligations under AR131(b) to ensure he rides his mounts out to the finish.

WE'VE GOTTA DEEL (P. Brewster) - jumped away awkwardly. Held up for clear running between the 400m and the 200m.

WARRIOR XENA (M. Julius) – inconvenienced on jumping away as a barrier attendant had slightly inhibited the riders ability to jump away cleanly.

Correct weight was delayed to allow Stewards to view the vision of the start. After reviewing the vision of WARRIOR XENA jumping away, Stewards were satisfied that the mare had not been denied a fair start and declared correct weight.

HASTA LA DUBAI (S. Payne) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Inside the 800m was restrained when the gelding improved onto the heels of AMBUSHED, which was racing greenly.

MATEO (J. Eaton) – hung out throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ULTRON (NZ) (C. Murray) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. In the vicinity of the 800m improved onto the heels of MADAM JEANETTE and had to be checked.

PEYTON JANE (NZ) (K. Walters) - slow to begin.

AMBUSHED (P. Brewster) - slow to begin. Raced keenly and greenly throughout the event.

IT'SABOUTTIME (M. Collett) – in the vicinity of the 800m became awkward in its action for a number of strides.

MADAM JEANETTE (A. Jordsjo) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Approaching the 800m had to be restrained when inconvenienced by NARALINGA, which shifted in.

NARALINGA (J. Potter) – approaching the 800m shifted in and inconvenienced MADAM JEANETTE. Rider was reminded of his obligations under AR131(a) and advised, in future, to only shift ground when entitled to do so.

Correct weight was delayed to allow Trainer, Ms N. Irwin (ULTRON (NZ)), placed third, to view the official photo finish.

HASTA LA WIZARD (K. Walters) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

OCTAHEDRON (C. Murray) – near the 300m was held up for a short distance. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

SEE DE NIGHT (D. Tourneur) – near the 1300m was hampered by TAN TAT FORTUNE, which was taken in.

TAN TAT FORTUNE (C. Puls) – an inquiry will be held into the circumstances as to why C. Puls was dislodged from TAN TAT FORTUNE in the vicinity of the 1300m at a date and time to be fixed. C. Puls was examined by First Care Medical personnel and was transported to hospital for further assessment and observation. C. Puls was advised that she would require a Medical Clearance before engaging in any form of riding.. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

LADY VANHUSEN (Z. Lloyd) – difficult to load. Trainer, Mr D. Page was advised that a warning had been placed on the filly in relation to its pre-race behaviour.

Due to the delay in relation to the ambulance transporting C. Puls to hospital following the running of Race 3, the race times for the remainder of the meeting were amended as follows:

Race 4: 3:25pm;
Race 5: 3:55pm;
Race 6: 4:35pm;
Race 7: 5:10pm; and
Race 8: 5:40pm.

REALTIN (J. Potter) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

BELOVED STAR (J. Eaton) - slow into stride.

IRONICAL (S. Metcalfe) - slow to begin.

PRANCING COUNTESS (M. Collett) – inside the 50m was obliged to shift in and alter course when disappointed for a run between TESTA DEXTA and FOREVER WAITING, when both runners shifted ground.

LADY ANNABEL (NZ) (K. Walters) – raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have cardiac arrhythmia (1st occurrence). Trainer, Mr. W. Walters was advised that he was required to comply with the Racing Australia Code of Practice in order for the mare to be reinstated to race. Trainer, Mr Walters advised Stewards on Monday, 4 November 2024 that it would be his recommendation to the owner that the mare be retired.

VEGAS DESTINY (NZ) (A. Jordsjo) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

Following the running of this event, rider D. Tourneur was examined by First Care Medical personnel and was passed fit to fulfil his remaining engagements.

BONJOUR (NZ) (K. Crowther) – laid out in the straight.

THE GREY KING (M. Collett) - slow to begin. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Rider explained that her instructions were to take up a forward position in today’s event; however, after being slow to begin she was obliged to race in a rearward position. She added that the gelding raced keenly in the early and middle stages and she was obliged to steady THE GREY KING on a number of occasions throughout the event. She further added that the gelding let down well in the straight.

TALES OF CONFLICT (J. Doyle) – had difficulty obtaining clear running rounding the home turn for a short distance.

DISSMATIC (NZ) (J. Potter) – stood flat footed as the start was affected and as a result was slow to begin (six lengths). Trainer, Mr S. Whittle was advised that a warning had been placed on the mare in relation to its barrier manners.

Following the running of this event, rider D. Tourneur was further examined by First Care Medical personnel and was deemed unfit to fulfil his remaining engagements. D. Tourneur was advised that he would require a Medical Clearance before engaging in any form of riding.

MARCOLT (NZ) (R. Milnes) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as it had not raced in over 12 months and was deemed suitable to race.

PORTATION (S. Metcalfe) – shortly after the start was taken out onto WHISKEY HANGOVER by LOOSE LIP LLOYD.

RISING LEGEND (M. Collett) – shortly after the start shifted in and tightened the running of HARLEY'N'ROSE. Rider reported that she became concerned with the gelding’s breathing over the concluding stages and for that reason she did not her mount out in her normal manner.

WHISKEY HANGOVER (J. Opperman) – shortly after the start was taken out by PORTATION and tightened the running of WEST CLIFF. In the vicinity of the 500m was inconvenienced by HARLEY'N'ROSE, which shifted out.

HARLEY'N'ROSE (A. Livesey) – shortly after the start was taken in by RISING LEGEND onto CHIPSON. In the vicinity of the 500m shifted out and inconvenienced WHISKEY HANGOVER. Rider reported that the gelding never let down as he had anticipated in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

WEST CLIFF (P. Brewster) – got its head up on jumping away and as a result was slow to begin. Shortly after the start lost its position when tightened between WHISKEY HANGOVER and CHIPSON, when both runners shifted ground. Held up for clear running from inside the 200m until near the 50m.

CHIPSON (K. Crowther) – shortly after the start was taken in by HARLEY'N'ROSE and tightened the running of WEST CLIFF.

LOOSE LIP LLOYD (J. Eaton) – shortly after the start shifted out and took MARCOLT (NZ) wider. Raced keenly in the early stages of the event. Rider reported that, in her opinion, LOOSE LIP LLOYD did not appreciate today’s track conditions.

ALITTLEBITPOLLY (K. Walters) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers, which revealed to mare to be lame in the near foreleg (3/5) and was deemed unsuitable to race. Acting on this advice ALITTLEBITPOLLY was declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 4.33pm. Trainer, Ms Y. Black was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

ATOMIC GOLD (C. MacRedmond) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as it had not raced in over 12 months and was deemed suitable to race. On jumping away was bumped by ANJOPIN, which shifted in. Near the 700m had to be restrained when racing in restricted room for a short distance between MERCHANT MISS and PONTY WELL.

ANJOPIN (M. Julius) - jumped away awkwardly, shifted in and bumped ATOMIC GOLD.

QUIK RHAPID (J. Opperman) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

PONTY WELL (J. Potter) – laid out under pressure in the straight.
