ROYAL MILE (K. Crowther) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg (4/5). Trainer, Mr J. Searle, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

JENKINS (L. Neindorf) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed suitable to start. Slow to begin.

ICHIBANSAN (A. Lai) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

PURE AQUA (J. Toeroek) – reared after begin loaded and got its leg over the barrier partition. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed suitable to start. Co-trainers, Mr R. and Miss C. Jolly, were advised that a warning had been placed on the filly in relation to its pre-race behaviour.

DANCING STORM (M. Nunes) – laid in under pressure in the straight.

ROYAL MAJESTY (B. Price) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

SNORE ROOM (A. Livesey) – near the 100m had to be eased and alter course to the outside of DANCING STORM, which was laying in.

WALK LIKE AN ANGEL (L. Neindorf) – laid in under pressure in the straight and near the 200m, when being corrected, shifted out onto GOTTA GO GURU.

GOTTA GO GURU (A. Livesey) – near the 200m had to be checked and lost ground when tightened between TOSEN WATER, which laid in, and WALK LIKE AN ANGEL, which shifted out. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

DANTELA (NZ) (B. Price) – held up for a short distance near the 200m and then had to be steadied and alter course near the 150m to obtain clear ground.

TOSEN WATER (J. Opperman) – laid in under pressure in the straight and near the 200m shifted in onto GOTTA GO GURU.

LAPILLI (M. Nunes) – rider reported that the mare travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event; however, when placed under pressure at the entrance to the straight failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off hind leg (2/5). Co-trainers, Mr R. & Miss C. Jolly, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

MORRIS MINOR (A. Livesey) – from near the 500m until near the 400m became held up when awkwardly placed on the heels of I’M KENNY, which had commenced to give ground.

OVERSTATED (M. Nunes) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event, and near the 1000m laid in onto MORRIS MINOR. In being corrected shifted out and shortly after had to be steadied and shifted out abruptly to avoid the heels of I’M KENNY, which was shifting in. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

I'M KENNY (S. Payne) – near the 1000m shifted in into the running line of OVERSTATED, which was shifting out, resulting in OVERSTATED having to be steadied and alter course. Rider was severely reprimanded under AR131(a) and advised in future to ensure he was sufficiently clear prior to shifting ground.

SIR KINGSFORD (K. Crowther) – laid out under pressure in the straight.

ARUGAMAMA (T. Pannell) – raced keenly in the middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off foreleg (2/5). Trainer, Mr A. Gluyas, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

DUAL FUEL (NZ) (B. Price) – stood flat-footed and was slow to begin. Trainer, Mr P. Hardacre, was advised that a warning had been placed on the mare.

GLENS TOP CAT (IRE) (M. Nunes) – laid out under pressure in the straight.

JACKSON RUN (J. Eaton) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

Correct weight was delayed to allow M. Nunes (GLENS TOP CAT (IRE)), placed second, and trainer, Mr T. Edmonds, to view the vision near the 600m.

HARLEY'N'ROSE (S. Payne) – hampered on jumping away when tightened between GRUELLING and JOVIALE. Held up from the 600m until the entrance to the straight.

JOVIALE (M. Nunes) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted in onto HARLEY’N’ROSE. Laid in from the entrance to the straight until near the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

AMBITIOUS CREEK (L. Neindorf) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Rider reported that the gelding laid in severely throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

GRUELLING (A. Lai) – shifted out on jumping away onto HARLEY’N’ROSE. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

HAYAI MESU (J. Eaton) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed suitable to start. Became awkward in its action near the 300m. Rider reported that the mare dipped rounding the home turn and on pulling up she became aware that it had hit itself on the near hind leg. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the near hind fetlock.

AITCH D'AMICO (T. Pannell) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

AMMO AMOR (J. Toeroek) – rider reported that the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages of the event; however, when placed under pressure did not stretch out and in his opinion it was due to the firmer track condition. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

NURYS (M. Collett) – jumped away awkwardly. Race ungenerously in the early stages of the event. Had difficulty obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until near the 200m.

FALAISE (B. Price) – slow to begin.

IT'SBRUCE (J. Opperman) – contacted on jumping away.

CHOSEN MISS (S. Metcalfe) – shifted out on jumping away and bumped IT’SBRUCE. Held up from the entrance to the straight until near the 200m.

EAGLELOU (A. Livesey) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

OAKLAND RAIDER (J. Toeroek) – slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

QEYAADY (T. Pannell) – jumped away awkwardly. Held up from the entrance to the straight until approaching the 200m. Approaching the finish was inconvenienced when its hindquarters were turned in by FORSTER STREET, which had been taken in. Stewards questioned T. Pannell in relation to his decision to shift to the outside of THE STALKER approaching the 200m rather than continue into a run between BABYKA and THE STALKER, which had presented. Rider explained that he was concerned that the two runners had been shifting about and felt that his best option was to shift out to ensure he had clear running to the finish.

BEAUTY BOUND (L. Neindorf) – rider reported that he had become concerned with the mare’s action on pulling up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

HOOKED ON WEALTH (K. Crowther) – held up from the 400m until near the 100m.

VEXATIOUS DANCER (C. Murray) – approaching the finish shifted in under riding when insufficiently clear of FOSTER STREET tightening that mare onto QEYAADY obliging the rider of FOSTER STREET to take hold of her mount. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence midnight Friday, 22 November 2024 to conclude midnight Friday, 29 November 2024, a period of three meetings.

FOSTER STREET (F. Atkinson) – slow into stride. Approaching the finish rider was forced to take hold when tightened onto QEYAADY by VEXATIOUS DANCER.

MON AMI (M. Collett) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.
