MESROUR (D. Tourneur) - jumped away awkwardly.

KNOPFLER (J. Toeroek) - slow to begin. Rider reported that the gelding got worked up behind the barriers, jumped away poorly and raced greenly throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

PALM OF JUMEIRAH (K. Crowther) – rider reported that the filly was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near foreleg (1/5). Trainer, Mr P. Stokes was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

The start of this event was delayed approximately one minute to avoid a clash with an interstate event.

ON THE SCENT (M. Collett) – laid in under pressure over the concluding 200m.

SIX STARS (J. Toeroek) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted in onto OUR DIVINYL. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

WINE BARRON (NZ) (T. Pannell) - jumped away awkwardly.

OUR DIVINYL (T. Johnstone) – jumped away awkwardly and shortly after lost its position when tightened onto SHEZ BETTY by SIX STARS. Lost its off fore plate during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

The start of this event was delayed approximately three minutes to avoid a clash with an interstate event.

BAD DETECTIVE (J. Holder) – held up from near the 400m until near the 200m.

COMMISSIONS (T. Pannell) – jumped away awkwardly. Rider explained that the gelding was a touch slow to begin but travelled well in the early and middle stages. He added when placed under pressure COMMISSIONS did not respond and was one pace to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

PENDING HEART (S. Payne) – inconvenienced shortly after the start when SUNDOGG shifted out.

SUNDOGG (C. Murray) – shifted out shortly after the start onto PENDING HEART. Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages of the event.

DARKNCONFIDENTIAL (J. Toeroek) – rider reported that his saddle shifted to the near side in the vicinity of the 900m and placed him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event.

STECARA (T. Johnstone) – raced greenly in the straight and was inclined to shift about under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

DUCHESS Of SUSSEX (K. Crowther) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Raced wide without cover throughout the event.

NO TELLING GOLD (A. Livesey) - jumped away awkwardly and shortly after brushed with MAHI MAHI and then shifted back in abruptly onto GOLDRUSH GURU.

TOOWANDA (S. Metcalfe) - jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin. Held up from near the 600m until near the 300m.

TEST THE LAW (J. Opperman) – inclined to rear as the start was affected.

DIXIE WHISTLER (A. Livesey) – raced keenly in the middle stages of the event.

THINK 'N' FLY (J. Eaton) – raced keenly in the middle stages of the event.

CHOSEN MISS (R. Milnes) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Raced wide without cover throughout the event.

FOX GEM (C. Murray) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

GOLDEN HIPS (J. Holder) – rider explained that his mount travelled well in the early and middle stages; however, when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

MOTORACE (B. Price) - rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(6)(b) for using his whip in an action that raised his arm above shoulder height and was fined $300.

The start of this event was delayed approximately two minutes owing to MISS BARILOCHE refusing to proceed to the start.

PLATINUM WOLF (S. Metcalfe) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

FLY LIE (J. Fry) – inclined to shift about under pressure in the straight. Near the 250m shifted in onto VEE ROD (NZ).

BIT OF A REBEL (A. Livesey) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

MISS BARILOCHE (J. Holder) – refused to proceed to the start. Stewards declared MISS BARILOCHE a late scratching at 2.25pm. Trainer, Mr A. Bobbin was advised that the gelding was now required to proceed to the start without delay in an Official Barrier Trial prior to accepting for a future race.

SPEC RAIDER (A. Jordsjo) – slow to begin.

VEE ROD (NZ) (B. Price) – near the 250m had to be steadied momentarily when FLY LIE shifted in.

ALPINE BEAU (S. Fawke) – stood flat footed at the start and was slow to begin.

CHARM SLINGA (NZ) (R. Milnes) - slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear ground from near the entrance to the straight. Near the 200m became held up and was obliged to alter course to obtain clear ground.

UNTOUCHABLE ED (NZ) (T. Voorham) - slow to begin.

PRINCE JOFRA (A. Livesey) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

FIFTEEN ROUNDS (C. Jones) – slow to begin. Rider reported that the gelding never travelled and did not stretch out when asked for an effort. She added that she had become concerned with its action on pulling up and had dismounted the gelding near the crossing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg (2/5). First aid administered. Trainer, Mr W. Brown was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

ALPINE FLYER (R. Milnes) – laid in under pressure over the concluding 200m.

MAGNETIC EDGE (S. Payne) – shortly after the start commenced to buck for a number of strides. Co-trainers, Mr J. Hickmott & Ms C. Riggs were advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding in relation to its racing manners.

CULLEN SKINK (B. Price) – lost its near fore plate during the event. Rider explained that the gelding never travelled and when asked for an effort failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

PEACEMAKER (F. Atkinson) – laid in under pressure in the straight.

SIR RANDOLPH (K. Crowther) - jumped away awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

WHISKEY HANGOVER (J. Opperman) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

KATERING (J. Eaton) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted out onto MORE SUGAR. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

KISS MY MILLO (J. Fry) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted in onto MORE SUGAR.

ROKABYE WARRIOR (S. Payne) – shifted in on jumping away and bumped RED ROOF. Laid out rounding the home turn and was inclined to shift about under pressure in the straight. Rider explained that after finding himself in a position one off the fence at the entrance to the straight, he elected to maintain this position, rather than shift back to the fence as, in his opinion, the ground was superior away from the rail.

ANGELIC APPEAL (C. Murray) - slow to begin.

MILLIVOY (J. Toeroek) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

MORE SUGAR (R. Milnes) – hampered on jumping away when tightened between KATERING, which shifted out and KISS MY MILLO, which shifted in. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

RED ROOF (S. Metcalfe) – inconvenienced on jumping away when contacted by ROKABYE WARRIOR.
