ROYAL MAJESTY (B. Price) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

TINY BAY (J. Toeroek) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

DIAMOND BABY (D. Tourneur) – jumped away awkwardly. Rider reported that the filly made excess respiratory noise on pulling up, and in his opinion may have held its breath during the run

RACE 2: SKYCITY PLATE - 1100 Metres

FASHION DOG (R. Milnes) – laid out rounding the home turn. Rider reported that the gelding raced greenly in the straight.

GEEIJO (J. Toeroek) – contacted on jumping away. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg (2/5). Co-trainers, Mr R. Jolly and Miss C. Jolly, were advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

GRINT (T. Pannell) – slow to begin.

LE PROVOCATEUR (T. Voorham) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted out onto GEEIJO.

MINE ALL MINE (J. Holder) – laid in under pressure in the straight and near the 150m shifted in and contacted SAKOWIN. Rider reported that the gelding raced greenly in the straight.

CAESAR'S WIFE (K. Crowther) – laid in under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ESTICON (A. Livesey) – jumped away awkwardly.

JURA VAUDOIS (D. Tourneur) – near the 300m laid in and became awkwardly placed on the heels of PRESS EXPRESS for a short distance. Rider was reminded of his obligations under AR131(b) to ensure he rides his mounts out fully to the finish.

PRESS EXPRESS (C. Murray) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SAKOWIN (A. Kelly) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Inconvenienced when contacted near the 150m by MINE ALL MINE.

PRINCE JOFRA (R. Milnes) – inconvenienced on jumping away when taken out onto EASY CAMPESE. Held up from the 450m to the 200m.

EASY CAMPESE (A. Livesey) – inconvenienced on jumping away when PRINCE JOFRA was taken out.

TYPHOON HARMONY (T. Pannel) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg (2/5). Trainer, Mr P. Gelagotis, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

EUREKA'S VICTORY (C. Murray) – raced wide without cover throughout the event. Rider reported that the gelding was inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight.

LAST GIRL LOVE (J. Holder) – slow to begin. Rider reported that the mare did not let down when placed under pressure and was disappointing to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

NICAJON (A. Kelly) – laid in under pressure over the concluding 150m.

RUN AND TELL (B. Price) – shifted out on jumping away onto PRINCE JOFRA. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

AMMO AMOR (S. Metcalfe) – inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight.

DOES IT (NZ) (J. Toeroek) – rider reported that the gelding did not respond to his riding in the early part of the straight and did not feel comfortable in its action over the concluding 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg (1/5). Co-trainers, Mr R. Jolly and Miss C. Jolly, were advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

BONA FIDE STAR (J. Doyle) – rider reported that in her opinion the gelding was not suited by the soft track condition. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

INAGURATE (J. Eaton) – slow to begin. Rider reported that the mare never travelled and was uncomfortable in its action in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off foreleg (2/5). Trainer, Mr D. McLeod, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

BELLINI MISS (NZ) (F. Atkinson) – jumped away awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

TRUMPTY DUMPTY (J. Toeroek) – rider reported that the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages; however, when asked for an effort did not let down in its normal manner and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

CHILKO LAKE (B. Price) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

APPLIED (M. Collett) – slow to begin. Rider reported that the gelding never travelled throughout the event and near the 500m dipped for no apparent reason. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SABERMETRIC (B. Price) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

KONG (A. Livesey) – inside the 1000m shifted in onto REGAL DANCER when insufficiently clear resulting in that rider having to take hold of his mount. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence midnight Saturday, 8 June 2024 to midnight Wednesday, 12 June 2024, a period of three meetings.

TALKIN' ITALIAN (J. Opperman) – slow into stride.

LIBERTY BLUE (F. Atkinson) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

RAKOMELO (S. Metcalfe) – near the 450m had to be checked when tightened between RAKOMELO, which hung out, and REGAL DANCER, which shifted in and away from WALLY WEST.

FLYIN' FOR US (A. Jordsjo) – change of tactics – attempt to settle further back due to the wide barrier – settled midfield wide without cover. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

STREETCAR APOLLO (K. Crowther) – Hung out rounding the home turn and near the 450m shifted out into the running line of RAKOMELO, which had to be checked when tightened onto REGAL DANCER. Rider reported that her mount laid out rounding the home turn, and then laid in, in the straight. Trainer, Mr D. Jolly, was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding in relation to its racing manners.

REGAL DANCER (J. Toeroek) – inside the 1000m rider had to take hold of his mount to avoid the heels of KONG, which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Near the 450m shifted in and away from WALLY WEST onto RAKOMELO. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.
