Wealthy Girl (A. Lai) – raced greenly throughout the event and proved difficult to ride. Approaching the 100m shifted in onto SHEEZAHIFLYA, which was momentarily steadied. Rider was severely reprimanded under AR131(a) and was advised to stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than he did on this occasion. A post-race veterinary examination no visible abnormalities.

Ok Gerry (K. Crowther) – laid out in the straight.

Sheezahiflya (S. Logan) – hung out rounding the home turn and became awkwardly placed on the heels of JACKS 'N' DANIEL'S for a short distance. Approaching the 100m was momentarily steadied to avoid the heels of WEALTHY GIRL, which shifted in.

A Few Good Men (M. Henderson) – proved difficult to load. Jumped away awkwardly. Trainer, Ms A. Harder was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding in relation to its barrier manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

I'm A Millennial (R. Milnes) – at the entrance to the straight was inconvenienced when taken wider by TOORAK BLAZE, which hung out.

Toorak Blaze (D. Caboche) - jumped away awkwardly. Hung out rounding the home turn.

Belfast Child (T. Voorham) – rider reported that the mare travelled well in the early and middle stages; however, when placed under pressure failed to respond to her riding and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Lion's Instinct (A. Livesey) – on jumping was hampered when tightened onto FLAMBARD by DIAMENTE TAGLIATO, which shifted out.

Centarus (C. Munro) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Diamente Tagliato (S. Logan) – jumped away awkwardly and shifted out onto LION'S INSTINCT.

First Rank (S. Payne) – laid in, in the straight.

Equine Headline (NZ) (R. Milnes) - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course and was deemed suitable to race. Rider reported that the gelding hung in, in the early stages of the event and then hung out for the remainder of the event. She added that she had concerns for the gelding’s action over the concluding stages and for that reason she did not ride EQUINE HEADLINE (NZ) out in her usual manner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Dantela (NZ) (R. Milnes) – held up momentarily at the entrance to the straight behind EVENING BRIDE and was obliged to shift out to obtain clear running.

Diamonds Are (K. Crowther) - slow to begin.

Kurimuzon (D. Caboche) – rider reported that the mare never travelled in today’s event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. Trainer, Mr R. King advised Stewards that it is his intention to retire the mare.

Artful Ambition (C. Murray) – near the 1000m shifted in onto KAIDO and tightened that gelding onto MESSERSCHMITT. Rider was reprimanded under AR131(a) and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.

Irish Mist (S. Fawke) – raced keenly in the early stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

Strawberry Swing (Z. Lloyd) – laid in, in the straight.

Kaido (A. Livesey) – near the 1000m rider had to take hold of her mount when ARTFUL AMBITION tightened the gelding onto MESSERSCHMITT and as a result lost its position. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to its offside stifle.

Riverside Rock (M. Collett) – slow to begin. Rider reported that the gelding never travelled in today’s event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Red Dynamo (NZ) (A. Lai) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have cardiac arrhythmia (1^st occurrence). Co-trainer, Mr J. Dunn was advised that he was required to comply with the Racing Australia Code of Practice in order for the gelding to be reinstated to race.

Vancouver Velvet (S. Fawke) – shortly after jumping away rider restrained his mount to obtain a position to the back of the field with cover.

Funny Legs (K. Crowther) – laid in throughout the event. Near the 1400m when laying in made contacted with ZOFFERELLA and shortly after shifted out onto HIGHLAND ANGEL.

Lord Turnbury (B. Price) – had difficulty obtaining clear running from near the 300m until the 150m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Highland Angel (C. Tootell) – near the 1400m was inconvenienced and taken wider when FUNNY LEGS shifted out and therefore raced wide without cover for the remainder of the event.

Zofferella (R. Milnes) – near the 1400m was contacted by FUNNY LEGS.

Following the running of this event, S. Payne was examined by the First Care Medical personnel and was declared unfit to fulfil his remaining engagements. As a result, S. Payne was stood down from his remaining engagements. S. Payne was advised that he would require a Medical Clearance before engaging in any form of riding.

Eureka's Victory (C. Murray) – when questioned in relation to the gelding’s disappointing performance, rider explained that when placed under pressure near the 600m EUREKA'S VICTORY failed to respond to his riding. He added that at the entrance to the straight he became concerned with the gelding’s action and for that reason he did not ride his mount out in his normal manner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Shakespeare (NZ) (J. Toeroek) – laid out in the straight.

The Art Of Flying (A. Livesey) – shortly after jumping away shifted in and contacted AHSO.

Splash Some Cash (M. Henderson) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

Mount Madeira (NZ) (K. Crowther) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

Super Valentine (D. Caboche) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.
