HOT OFF (M. Collett) – rounding the home turn was taken out off its course by MORRIS MINOR, which laid out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg (2/5). Co-trainers, Mr D. Clarken and Ms O. MacGillivray, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start. MORRIS MINOR (A. Livesey) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Made the home turn awkwardly and shifted out taking HOT OFF out off its course. OAKLAND RAIDER (M. Nunes) – near the 200m shifted out slightly before being straightened by its rider. ZUFASTA (A. Lai) – near the 200m shifted in slightly before being straightened by its rider. STARTIDE (T. Pannell) – slow to begin. HYPERNOVA (J. Potter) – held up from near the 400m until approaching the 200m. Jolly, was advised that as this was the gelding’s first bi-lateral bleed HYPERNOVA would now be suspended from racing for a period of three months in accordance with AR79(4) and would be required to have the gelding reinstated in accordance with AR79(4)(b) prior to a future race. RUNAWAY BELLE (L. Neindorf) – near the 150m was hampered when taken out by HYPERNOVA, which shifted out. AZTEC DANCER (B. Price) – slow to begin. |
