KELORIK (O. Ridge) – inclined to rear on jumping away and was slow into stride.

HIATUS (M. Nunes) - jumped away awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the straight. Near the 400m shifted in and brushed MEISHO.

MEISHO (J. Holder) – momentarily inconvenienced near the 400m when brushed by HIATUS.

NEVERENDS (R. Milnes) - slow to begin.

STEEL TRAP (M. Collett) - jumped away awkwardly. Rider reported that the filly never travelled. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ROCKSTAR MEGGSY (T. Johnstone) – laid in under pressure over the concluding 200m.

LOTZA BUBBLES (R. Milnes) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had bled from both nostrils and was lame in the off foreleg (1/5). Trainer, Mr P. Stokes was advised that as this was the mare’s first bi-lateral bleed LOTZA BUBBLES would now be suspended from racing for a period of three months in accordance with AR79(4), would be required to have the gelding reinstated in accordance with AR79(4)(b) prior to a future race and that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

ALL ABOUT EVE (A. Livesey) – inconvenienced at the entrance to the straight when taken wider by ROCKSTAR MEGGSY. Rider reported that the mare did not stretch out in its normal manner over the concluding 200m.

MISSILE STAR (M. Collett) – had to be momentarily eased at the entrance to the straight when ROCKSTAR MEGGSY shifted out.

SPIRIT OF CAMELOT (IRE) (T. Pannell) – laid out under pressure in the straight.

HUNTLEY LADY (B. Price) - slow to begin.

HIGH ON SUGAR (K. Crowther) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out under pressure in the straight.

EVEN SHARPER (J. Holder) - lost both fore plates during the event.

SOLAR MIST (B. Price) – inside the 200m shifted in onto PLAISIR, which was hampered when taken in and then was forced to alter course to maintain clear galloping room. Rider was severely reprimanded under AR131(a) and advised, in future, to ensure he is sufficiently clear prior to commencing to shift ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

FLAMBARD (T. Pannell) – a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg (1/5). Trainer, Mr B. Cozamanis was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race.

MISS REMSKI (M. Collett) – laid in over the concluding 200m of the event.

PLAISIR (Z. Lloyd) – inside the 1200m was hampered when taken in by SOLAR MIST and was forced to alter course to maintain clear galloping room behind that gelding.

RISING LEGEND (J. Bowditch) – rider reported that the gelding did not feel comfortable in the straight on the firmer track condition and made excess respiratory noise on pulling up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ENCIPHERING (A. Livesey) – shortly after the start shifted in and became awkward for a short distance.

PROVEN CORRECT (T. Johnstone) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Lost both fore plates during the event. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that she used her whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100m and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence midnight Saturday, 19 October 2024 and to conclude midnight Friday, 25 October 2024, a period of two meetings and was also fined $100. In determining penalty Stewards had regard for the totality of the use of the whip by T. Johnstone and noted that she used it on seven occasions over the final 100m of the event.

MYSTERY DEEL (J. Potter) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

FALANGHINA (T. Pannell) – laid in under pressure in the straight.

HASSLEFREE (T. Voorham) – raced keenly in the middle stages whilst being restrained.

HAMSLETTE (C. Jones) - Stewards received a request from Trainer, Mrs N. Irwin that the mare be withdrawn due to the track upgrade. Stewards acceded to this request and declared HAMSLETTE a late scratching at 1:15pm.

PURE AQUA (J. Toeroek) - contacted on jumping away.

DYER (T. Pannell) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SNORE ROOM (J. Potter) - had difficulty obtaining clear ground and then was held up from the entrance to the straight until approaching the 100m.

BAY OF PORTLAND (M. Collett) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted out onto PURE AQUA. Rider reported that the gelding did not let down over the concluding 200m and, in her opinion, this was due to the firmer track.

ROYAL MAJESTY (J. Holder) - Stewards received a request from Trainer, Mr C. Bieg that the filly be withdrawn due to the track upgrade. Stewards acceded to this request and declared HAMSLETTE a late scratching at 1:55pm.

MASTER EIGHT (J. Toeroek) – laid in under pressure in the straight. Near the 200m shifted in onto POOL PONY. Rider reported that the gelding travelled well in the early and middle stages; however, when asked for an effort failed to let down as he had anticipated. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

KARACASU (T. Pannell) - slow to begin.

OCEAN REWARD (L. Neindorf) – near the 200m was disappointed when attempting a tight run between THE BULL MCCABE, which had commenced to give ground and TAPINFORPAR and then became held up until inside the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

VALIDATED (D. Tourneur) – slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 150m became awkwardly placed on the heels of OCEAN REWARD and was obliged to alter course to that gelding’s outside to obtain clear ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

JACKS ON ICE (J. Opperman) – knuckled on jumping away.

MIDNIGHT MASS (NZ) (M. Nunes) – inconvenienced on jumping away when contacted by POOL PONY.

POOL PONY (B. Price) – laid out shortly after the start and contacted MIDNIGHT MASS (NZ). In the vicinity of the 200m was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of THE BULL MCCABE after being taken in slightly by MASTER EIGHT.

WILD IMAGINATION (NZ) (R. Milnes) - slow to begin. Rider reported that as a result of being slow to begin, she settled further back than she had anticipated in the event.

EASY CAMPESE (A. Livesey) - Change of tactics - attempt to settle further back with cover in the event if possible. Settled midfield with cover.

LUMBER PUNK (S. Payne) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.

HASSELTOFF (T. Pannell) – held up from in the vicinity of the 200m until inside the 100m.

JILLADORA (M. Collett) – raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid in under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

HEADPHONES (M. Chadwick) – raced wide without cover throughout the event.

UNDER THE CONE (M. Nunes) – raced keenly in the middle stages of the event. Laid in under pressure in the straight.
