RHINESTONE RORY (S. Payne) – raced keen in the early and middle stages of the event and got its head up when being restrained. Raced wide in the early stages. Obliged to race wider on the track near the 1300m when ZOUNORMOUOS shifted out to improve.

FOXY EAGLE (M. Chadwick) – near the 100m was momentarily steadied away from the heels of GREY FOLLY, which shifted out.

GLACIES HEART (T. Voorham) – had to be steadied near the 1850m to avoid the heels of RHINESTONE RORY, which shifted out. Hung out in the straight and proved difficult to ride.

GREY FOLLY (J. Holder) – began awkwardly and lost ground.

PAPPIANA (J. Opperman) – became fractious in the barriers. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was deemed suitable to start. Began awkwardly and lost ground. Rider reported that as a result of PAPPIANA beginning awkwardly they raced further back than expected; however, it was under pressure from the 1000m and failed to respond to his riding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed two small abrasions to the forehead.

STAR CASINO (B. Price) – raced keen in the early and middle stages of the event and got its head up when being restrained. Near the 350m lost ground when racing tight between MR GEORGE and RHINESTONE RORY. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ZOUNORMOUS (D. Tourneur) – rider explained that due to the lack of the speed in the early stages of the event he allowed his mare to work forward from the 1300m to sit outside the leader near the 1200m. In doing so ZOUNORMOUS forced RHINESTONE RORY wider on the track.

CABALLO LOCO (M. Heagney) – raced keen in the middle stages of the event and near the 900m clipped the heels of PENDING HEART, blundered and lost ground.

COLORADO BULLDOG (M. Chadwick) – stood flat-footed at the start and lost considerable ground. Trainer, Mr G. Kluske, was advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding’s starting manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

HISWAY (J. Holder) – began awkwardly, shifted in and inconvenienced MENACE TO SOBRIETY.

MENACE TO SOBRIETY (B. Price) – inconvenienced at the start when taken in by HISWAY. Raced green when placed under pressure in the straight.

SEVEN SHOTS (C. Munro) – rider was unable to give any explanation for the gelding’s apparent disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

COCKATOO ROSE (B. King) – raced wide without cover from the 900m.

PAINTED PONY (T. Voorham) – contacted shortly after the start by LE NEZ CROCHU, and as a result shifted out and tightened SPLASH LANDING onto MENACE TO SOBRIETY. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SILVER LIFESTYLE (J. Doyle) – began awkwardly and shifted out. Hung out in the straight. Rider reported that the gelding raced green throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SPLASH LANDING (R. Milnes) – shortly after the start was taken out by PAINTED PONY, and as a result clipped the heels of MENACE TO SOBRIETY and lost ground.

NEAVE (J. Potter) – raced keen and green in the early and middle stages of the event.

LE NEZ CROCHU (D. Tourneur) – began awkwardly, shifted out and contacted PAINTED PONY.

BIG SWAN (B. Price) – rider could offer no explanation in regards to the gelding’s performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

KIRKLISTON BLU (T. Voorham) – rider reported that she was instructed to ride the gelding in a neutral manner and as a result she raced further back today. She added that the gelding hung out for the majority of the event.

FAST BUBBLES (L. Neindorf) – raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.

DOUBLE YOU OWE (NZ) (S. Payne) – stumbled shortly after the crossing near the 1500m. Raced keen in the lead in the early and middle stages of the event. Rider explained that he was not instructed to lead; however, he was advised to be positive out of the gates.

WILD INFERENCE (D. Caboche) – obliged to race wider rounding the home turn by ALLEGEDLY (FR), which shifted out to improve.

ALLEGEDLY (FR) (B. King) – shifted out rounding the home turn to obtain a clear run.

JEWEL DE LUNE (M. Collett) – obliged to race wider rounding the home turn by WILD INFERENCE.

DISSMATIC (NZ) (S. Logan) – raced keen in the early stages of the event. Obliged to race wider rounding the home turn by JEWEL DE LUNE. Hung out under pressure in the straight.

CRIMSON FACTOR (A. Jordsjo) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course as it had raced in the past seven days and was deemed suitable to start.

SAM'S REWARD (J. Potter) – hung out under pressure in the straight.

LION'S INSTINCT (M. Collett) – began awkwardly.

JAYWICK (J. Potter) – inconvenienced at the start when taken out by LEBANESE TRADER. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

ALOHA BLUE (A. Livesey) – raced keen in the early and middle stages of the event.

LEBANESE TRADER (M. Heagney) – began awkwardly, shifted out abruptly and forced JAYWICK out.

GRAFTON AVENUE (D. Tourneur) – tightened shortly after the start and lost ground between DEEVINE and ALOHA BLUE, which was taken out by JAYWICK.

ABIT RATTLEY (T. Johnstone) – raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.

LYNDA'S LEGACY (B. King) – began very awkwardly with its head up and lost considerable ground. Co-trainers, Mr R. Hannemann and Mr G. Lesnikowski, were advised that a warning had been placed on the mare for its starting manner. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

MISS THATCHER (R. Milnes) – rider reported that the mare failed to respond to her riding when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off hind leg (2/5). Trainer, Mr G. Lynch, was advised that a Veterinary Clearance would be required prior to a future jump-out, trial or race start.

MASTER FLYNN (IRE) (A. Lai) – change of tactics – settle further back with cover – settled midfield.

THE ICE CUTTER (C. Tootell) – slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining a clear run from the 300m to the 200m and shifted in to improve.

LAVA LAD (J. Doyle) – raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to the hear hind leg. First aid administered.

GENERAL MINT – as there was no rider available to ride the gelding Stewards declared GENERAL MINT a late scratching at 7.45am.

FLYING ASSASSIN (B. King) – raced keen in the early and middle stages of the event. Brushed the running rail near the 1600m, became unbalanced and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities.

SILENT EMMY (L. Neindorf) – raced keen in the lead in the early and middle stages of the event. Over the concluded stages was not fully tested when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WE’VE GOTTA DEEL, which shifted in.

LINES OF GLORY (R. Milnes) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course as it had raced in the past seven days and was deemed suitable to start. Approaching the 1600m steadied away from the heels of SPEC RAIDER, which lost ground in front. Held up from the 400m to the 250m.

SCAMSTER (T. Johnstone) – underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on course and was deemed suitable to start. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

SPEC RAIDER (A. Jordsjo) – steadied near the 1600m away from the heels of FLYING ASSASSIN, which lost ground in front.
