Winner Interview - Quorn Cup

It was an exciting day in Quorn as for the first time in 3 years the Quorn Cup was running, and hundreds of people from Quorn, Hawker, Port Augusta and Flinders Ranges area descended on the Quorn Jockey Club for a big day of racing action.

Despite the wind causing some millinery readjustment, there were plenty of impressive outfits on the track, from both the men and women.

Stirling local Amanda Coffey took out the top prize in a coordinated look with well thought out accessories, making it in as the last state finalist of the 2016-17 competition. You can vote for Amanda, and all of the other state finalists throughout this week to win.

We spoke to Amanda to find out more about her!

Who is your winning outfit by?

My dress is a Asos wiggle dress, with Miss Louise Millinery custom made to match. Shoes and accessories also from Asos!

What brought you to The Races today?

To have a day out with the family and to see and enter Fashions on the Field.

Have you entered Fashions on the Field events before?

Yes, I just started entertain this year. I entered at Port Augusta and Roxby Downs, this is my first win!

Who's your style icon?

Kate Middleton - I love her sophisticated style.

What would be your dream purchase?

A swim spa!

What do you love about The Races?

I love the atmosphere - it's a great day out and gives me the chance to get dressed up!
