Viddora Final: Plenty to do for Jolly's Rose

Lakhani Rose will need everything to fall into place to turn her form around in the $102,250 Viddora Series Final (1300m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

A wide gate and racing on a track where she is yet to win are the biggest hurdles in front of the talented mare according to trainer David Jolly.

“The Parks really isn’t her track, so it’s a case of fingers crossed,’’ Jolly said.

A wide barrier hasn’t deterred punters when it comes to Tony and Calvin McEvoy’s Star of Uma who sits at the top of the market firming form $2.90 into $2.60 favourite with tab.com.au with in-form apprentice Ben Price to ride.

Shayne Cahill has Point Blaze on the second line of betting at $7 alongside Diamonds who has put the writing on the wall in two runs for Chris Bieg.

Impressive last-start winner Another Award has drifted slightly in betting from her wide draw and is marked a $7.50 chance.
