Heavily backed when he finished third behind Vancouver Velvet here last time. Draws a good gate with a Gary Lo claim and gets his chance.
GRIMESY (Race 6)
Has ability and ran well when resuming behind Sarah’s Jule at Murray Bridge. Draws a nice barrier and looks worth an each-way ticket at the $9.50 if he gets a run as the first emergency.
MY MATE SONNY (Race 8)
Still has a big weight even after the claim for Kristo Sardelic but his latest effort behind Tommy Blue in town was very good. He’s never been out of the money in six starts this track and trip. Another worth an each-way ticket.
