Indian Gazelle set for Sir Prancealot Final

Gawler horseman Brett Campbell is confident the best is still in front of talented mare Indian Gazelle.

The four-year-old is a leading chance in the Sir Prancealot Series Final on her home track on Saturday, which also offers winning connections a nomination to Cornerstone Stud stallion Sir Prancealot valued at $9,900.

“I’m very very happy with her,’’ Campbell said.

“Last start at Murray Bridge was best she’s ever raced as far as professionalism goes.

“And she keeps on thriving,’’ he said.

Campbell has always maintained a strong opinion of Indian Gazelle and believes she’s a horse capable of measuring up in better races.

“She’s got heaps of ability,’’ Campbell said.

“But she jumps and forgets how to gallop, she can be off the bit chasing the whole way.

“I’d like to get to her to a Stakes race at some point. If she happened to win this weekend, we might look at a race at Flemington," Cambpell said.
