Trial Trio: Morphettville

Racing SA's Lincoln Moore has run his eye over the trials from Morphettville this morning, and given you his trial trio to follow.

QUIETLY DISCREET (Trial 4)

Handy mare who has won three of her 10 starts and she looked very good free rolling in the lead and winning by more than seven lengths. The Stokes stable is coming off a double on Saturday and she looks to have come back from a break in very good order.

SILVER ON RED (Trial 6)

Impressive return by the grey, sure he didn’t go around a horse, but when Paul Gatt slipped him a little bit of rein, he put a nice gap on his rivals. He can build on an already handy record in 2022.

KNIGHT BATCHELOR (Trial 10)

Son of Alpine Eagle from the McEvoy yard who fetched $105,000 at last year’s Melbourne Premier Sale. He went to the line under a stranglehold for jockey Paul Gatt finishing fourth behind Boogie Nights in the Wolf Blass colour. Worth keeping an eye out for Knight Batchelor's debut.
