Thorough Care SA are pleased to announce a partnership with Woodside’s Hallmark Farms for the 2023 Hallmark Farms Derby Championship Series.
In a move aimed to help attract more retired thoroughbreds competing Off The Track, Thorough Care SA will provide more than $4000 in sponsorship.
The highest placed thoroughbred from each class will win a $50 Petstock voucher during the Hallmark Farms Derby Championship which is made up of eight heats which could be extended if the weather permits.
The overall highest thoroughbred from each class of the series will to receive Thorough Care SA rugs and a $50 voucher to be used with Petstock.
"We love the work the Thorough Care SA is doing in the welfare space and a excited to partner with them to showcase how well these bred to race thoroughbreds can be off the track in different disciplines,’’ Hallmark Farms James Deacon said.
“We hope this partnership continues to promote the rehoming of thoroughbred horses after their racing careers have finished."
Racing SA Industry Operations Manager John Cornell said it was great to see Thorough Care SA’s continued support of thoroughbred in post racing pathways.
