RICH LADY has placed at two of six runs and was good first-up when 2nd behind Splish Splash at Balaklava and then went back to the trials. She draws a nice gate and looks hard to beat. MANUKA BAY was sent out fav at her local debut when 3rd behind Set On You at Gawler. She draws a middle gate and should give this a shake. HISWAY was on speed when beaten 3.4 lengths in 7th behind Magic Morris at Gawler and can improve despite a wide gate. LITTLE BIT CHAI was placed twice last preparation and had some market support when well beaten here behind Queen Of The North. ALEXEIN has placed twice in Victoria and wasn’t beaten far at her local debut behind Putanothercoinin at Morphettville. LAVA LAD wasn’t beaten far on debut.

SELECTIONS: 11 RICH LADY, 9 Manuka Bay, 1 Hisway, 8 Little Bit Chai

REGAL DANCER was in the market on debut when 9th behind Kalasec at Murray Bridge. He’s trialled OK and looks well placed. MORLAIX is on debut for the Padman stable and won a recent Murray Bridge trial. ASTAIRES was placed at Gawler behind Sir Panama two runs back and then on speed when he was well beaten behind Our Divinyl at Morphettville. JAMAICAN GOLD led up when 5th behind Great Maximus at Morphettville and can improve. RUSCHEYNE was runner-up twice before running 8.5 length last behind Sir Panama at Gawler.

SELECTIONS: 7 NEVER SURRENDER, 8 Regal Dancer, 2 Care Too Much, 11 Morlaix
PLAY: Something on NEVER SURRENDER.

RACE 3 - 2:30PM Mai & Jean Fashion / Francesco Olive Oil Maiden Plate (1600 METRES)

HIT THE SLOPES was a $3.20 favourite behind Night Cruiser at Morphettville, he’s been 4th at his past three starts, he gets the blinkers off again from the inside barrier and should be in the finish. PARSONAGE LANE is a 17 start maiden who has been placed five times, the latest when 2nd at Bendigo back in June. He was thriving up in trip, he’s trialled fairly but is going to need it even further. ZESTY SPICE had specking at odds at Gawler two runs back and was again tried at odds and run a cheeky race behind Mortgage Man last time. He’s out to the mile and should run well. CHARLIE’S BRO ran OK when 6th behind Mortgage Man at Gawler and can be in the mix here. TALL LETTER gets the blinkers for the first time here and was placed at Strathalbyn in October.

SELECTIONS: 4 HIT THE SLOPES, 7 Parsonage Lane, 11 Zesty Spice, 2 Charlie’s Bro
PLAY: Looks HIT THE SLOPS chance to break through.

RACE 4 - 3:05PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Benchmark 62 Handicap (1600 METRES)

FLEURIEU FLIPPER was a winner here three starts back beating Night Cruiser and comes off an OK effort when 4th behind Ghetto Supastar which is good form for a race like this. He draws a ice gate and looks the horse to beat. BURNING BRIGHT is a handy filly who was too good for Jewel De Lune at Gawler before she beat home all but Covered Call there, who has won again since, last time out. Jason Holder rides over stablemate MORTAGE MAN was ridden off the speed when he finished hard to beat Zesty Spice at Gawler last time. He draws a good barrier and can go on with it here. ENTERPRISE JEWEL was good running 2nd behind Django Express at Murray Bridge last time and has been close to winning in recent starts.

SELECTIONS: 1 FLEURIEU FLIPPER, 8 Burning Bright, 7 Mortgage Man, 6 Enterprise Jewel
PLAY: Backing FLEURIEU FLIPPER but he opened short enough at $2.60.

RACE 5 - 3:40PM Gawler South Bakery Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1050 METRES)

ROCK HARD is a winner here and was good when 4th behind Old Time Rock at Morphettville last time. He will ride the speed and given them something to chase here. EASTSIDE DIAMOND finished 3rd in that same race at Morphettville wen resuming. He draws a nice gate and should be thereabouts again. JIMMY’S EDGE is another who comes through the Old Time Rock race and had market support but didn’t do a lot, he’s been in the money at all three runs here. SAMESYN made ground in the same race from the back and could be ready to improve. CATALINA BLUE comes here on the back of a very good Port Lincoln when he got back and stormed home to win by 3.5 lengths when $6-$3.80, a repeat is right in the finish here.

SELECTIONS: 2 ROCK HARD, 4 Eastside Diamond, 1 Jimmy’s Edge, 9 Samesyn
PLAY: Something on ROCK HARD each-way at $8.

RACE 6 - 4:15PM TQCSI Four-Year-Old & Up Mares Benchmark 56 Handicap (1200 METRES)

MYRTLE CREEK is a former Victorian who thrived on a good tempo when he powered over the top of rivals to win first-up in SA at Gawler. The stable is having a great run and he should run well again from a good gate. YEAH YEAH NAH made good ground in the same race but is one win from 24 starts. LOTTO FIGHT finished hard first-up at Morphettville behind Old Time Rock. Getting to 1200m looks ideal. LOOKS LIKE A LADY was well found winning at Port Lincoln two runs back before losing her rider last time. She draws out but can be in the mix. JURA MAC was a KI and Bordertown winner earlier in the year and was OK first-up behind Delcredere on the Parks, this looks easier. ZERO INN was a Murray Bridge winner in July and placed behind Son Of Bielski on the Parks. She can run well fresh. DASH IT is a winner at her only start here and has been in the money at both second-up runs. She chased home Lady Simone when resuming and this is easier.

SELECTIONS: 1 MYRTLE CREEK, 7 Lotto Fight, 11 Yeah Yeah Nah, 4 Looks LIke A Lady
PLAY: Not many that can’t win, wide in quaddie.

RACE 7 - 4:50PM Taylors Wines Four-Year-Old & Up Entires & Geldings Benchmark 58 Handicap (1200 METRES)

CHARLESFORT had good market support first-up to run favourite when beaten 3.8 lengths behind Sabermetric at Morphettville. He was OK beaten 2.8 lengths behind Roxy Blue at Strathalbyn on the weekend. Jake Toeroek goes on here from the good barrier and this looks his chance to find winning form. POOL PONY was a Gawler winner before a break and has had the two trials for his return and he has been placed here. LANCELOTTO has been placed at his past three, the latest behind Delcredere on the Parks which is good form for a race like this. He draws out but looks well placed. MAGIC MORRIS comes off a Gawler maiden win, he draws out but can go on with it. ALPINE BEAU was a Strathalbyn winner over 2050m back in March and can run well. LI’L HANK can run well fresh here, he’s won six of 37.

SELECTIONS: 8 CHARLESFORT, 3 Pool Pony, 6 Lancelotto, 15 Magic Morris
PLAY: Backing CHARLESFORT.
