RACE 1 - 11:37AM Gawler Arms Hotel Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

GRINT has been placed at his past two, behind Fashion Dog before following up with another good run beaten 2.7 lengths in 3rd behind Riche D’Amore at Morphettville. He gets blinkers for the first time. Stablemate NIKOLSKY was OK at Morphettville on debut when beaten 3.2 lengths behind Fashion Dog and then followed up with a 1 length 2nd behind Linking at Balaklava last time. She has the wide draw. HALLIWELL was solid on debut beaten 2.3 lengths behind the highly rated Riche D’Amore at Morphettville. She draws a middle gate, should be better for the experience. SUMAMBISTARR was luckless on debut at big odds and has been good in two runs since beaten 1.2 lengths behind Lady Lupara at Gawler last time. She gets Jason Holder here.  SIX STARS has been runner-up at his past two the latest behind Artillery on the Parks and draws the inside gate. Stablemate GEEIJO was placed at his only run here. TENTERK has been runner-up his past three the latest at Port Augusta and draws out. Stablemate MORLAIX resumes, was placed at three runs before a break, the latest behind Pretentious Diva at Strathalbyn and she has trialled OK. EXALTED JOY was OK first-up from a very long break and gets the blinkers for the first time.

RACE 2 - 12:12PM LJ Hooker Gawler/Barossa Handicap (1700 METRES)

ASPEN COLORADO handles all conditions and comes off a solid effort when beaten 1.5 lengths behind New York Hurricane at Bendigo. He draws a perfect gate and should run well here. TEST THE LAW was back to winning form at Murray Bridge last time when he fought off Smokin’ Princess to win by 0.3 lengths. He has a great record here with two wins and three placings from six starts and should be in the finish again. EXALTED FIRE was a good winner on the Parks two runs back before being beaten 1.9 lengths by Test The Law at Murray Bridge. He has two wins and a 2nd from four runs here and gets some weight relief. OUTTA COMPTON has won two of his past four, was too good for Maracourt two runs back and when beaten 3.2 lengths by Name Dropper at Sandown. THRILL KILL strips fitter for a solid first-up run when 5th behind Picaroon in the Apsley Cup at Edenhope.

RACE 3 - 12:47PM Holdfast Insurance Brokers Handicap (1700 METRES)

CHAMBERS BAY is unbeaten in two runs here and led throughout for a dominant 3.5 length win over Midnight Rush here last time. He draws the inside and should take some beating again. RESERVOIR DOG was well ridden off the speed before he came with a well-timed run to narrowly beat Wine Barron here last time. SAINT MICHAEL comes off a fighting Balaklava win and draws a handy gate. DELTA TANGO is a horse who likes the soft and heavy conditions and draws a nice barrier for his SA debut for Travis Doudle. ROCKBARTON ROAD was a winner here last time beating Weekend Warrior

RACE 4 - 1:22PM Kingsford Hotel Handicap (1500 METRES)

NAVY GOLD is lightly-raced and turned his form around when well ridden to beat Zero Inn by 1.4 lengths at Balaklava. He maps to get a nice run here and should run well again. HARD PRINCE was a Strathalbyn winner four runs back and comes off a solid effort when beaten 0.4 lengths behind BONA FIDE STAR at Morphettville. EXTRA HOT was beaten by Jive Baby first-up here before proving too good for Tupoleu last time at 1200m. She jumps in trip and has given the impression that should suit. MAXILDO won his maiden by three lengths on the same day here. He looks a horse with upside and stays at the 1500m. FLYING ASSASSIN comes off a big run here when beaten 0.6 lengths behind Reservoir Dog when he made a long-sustained run and did well to hang on. OUR DIVINYL was solid in the market when beaten 3.9 lengths behind Chambers Bay here last time.

RACE 5 - 1:57PM Adelaide Plains Bloodstock Handicap (1700 METRES)

CHIPSON should have won three starts back and has been good in two runs since, the latest beaten 2.2 lengths behind Willybeafactor. The jump to 1700m looks ideal now and he gets in well after the claim. POINTLESS PRAISE was good first-up from a spell in the same race beaten 1.7 lengths behind Willybeafactor. His was a winner over 2200m last time in, draws a nice gate and has placed at both second-up runs. FLYWAY was beaten 3.8 lengths behind Delightful Shecky on the Parks back in April. MIDNIGHT RUSH has an OK record here and was beaten 3.5 lengths behind Chambers Bay last time. LOMAX has a good record here and if fitter for one run back from a long spell.

RACE 6 - 2:37PM Irongate Australia Handicap (1200 METRES)

KLABEL has a good record with four wins and four placings from his eight starts and made good ground behind Keep Reading first-up from a break on the Parks before going to Murray Bridge and beating Boonie. He looks hard to beat again. SWEET BABY BOOM was a good winner on the Parks two runs back and then followed up with a good effort when beaten 0.6 lengths behind Episodic at Morphettville. That’s good form for a race like this. Stablemate SIXTEEN REASONS is a good mare who has finished top two in both runs here. She was placed behind Sweetened on the Parks back in April and was 3rd in the Klabel race at Murray Bridge last time. The third of the Clarken/O’Shea stable SILENT DON resumes, is a winner fresh, but is best suited over further. OCEAN REWARD was good making ground when beaten 1.4 lengths in the Klabel race at Murray Bridge. BLOW IN comes to SA for the Stokes stable and was OK beaten 4 lengths behind Impending Link at Sale two runs back. METRO LEGEND was good running 2nd behind Sweet Baby Boom on the Parks two runs back and then beaten 6.6 lengths behind Riverplate at Murray Bridge last time.

RACE 7 - 3:12PM Happy 60th Esme Watson Handicap (2100 METRES)

A TOUCH FROSTY was OK late making ground to be beaten 2.3 lengths behind Imposing Suspect at Mount Gambier. He was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back and up in trip and a wide gate looks ideal. ALIBEY was well beaten at Swan Hill two runs back and then won a Warrnambool hurdle trial before winning at Warrnambool when $10 out to $19 in a high weight last time. WHISKY SOUR was placed at consecutive Gawler runs before breaking his maiden there last time when a half-length winner over Holmes. He draws a nice gate and can run well again. ESKY was a $2.50 favourite when a 2.1 length winner over D’Isles at Strathalbyn before he was beaten 7 lengths behind Chamber’s Bay at Gawler last time. FIZIQUE has won two of his past four the latest last start at Balaklava when a 1.2 length winner over APPLIED.

RACE 8 - 3:52PM Coopers Brewery Australian Lager Handicap (1500 METRES)

FAVOURITE CHILD chases three in succession after beating Tapa Capall at Morphettville before following up with a narrow win over Angry Skies at Murray Bridge. NICAJON has been placed at his past four starts, running 3rd behind Merchant Boss on the Parks two starts back before beating home all but WILLYBEAFACTOR last time. EXALTED RUTH has three wins and tow placings from six starts and has been scratched a couple of times leading into this her first run back from a spell. BILLIE BONX was solid in the market first-up from a spell but beaten 6.6 lengths behind Riverplate at Murray Bridge. She has been in the first two at both runs here and draws an inside gate. ANNIHILATE was a Balaklava winner five runs back and placed his past three in handy company, the latest behind Soaring Eagle at Morphettville. EAGLELOU has a good record here on his home track and does race well fresh. He’s going to be better suited over further.

EVERGLADE is a former Victorian who was a 1.2 length winner at Murray Bridge on debut in SA for the Bain/Taylor stable. She maps well from a nice gate. SOLAR BLAST hasn’t raced since winning at Morphettville in February, he’s been placed at all four first-up runs and has been in the money at all three runs here. SPORTSBEAT was a good Morphettville winner two runs back before he was beaten 6.9 lengths behind The Hass there last time. He must be respected. COMMANDER MEROO was a Murray Bridge winner two starts back before he was beaten 3.8 length behind Brave Star on the Parks. He gets some weight relief.
