RACE 1 - Sportsbet Photo Finish Refund Handicap (1950 METRES)

ONLY OLD ONCE is lightly-raced having won two of four and comes off a Seymour win over 1600m. He maps well from the good barrier. KIMMORLEY draws off the track but has won two f his past five at Warrnambool, and was 4th behind Tippa at Morphettville last time. HOLMES made good ground behind Lottaroc at Murray Bridge last week. ALMONTI was a Swan Hill winner two starts back. FAIR LEGACY has won her past four at Port Augusta and is back on the turf here. She’s also an acceptor there on Sunday.

RACE 2 - 12:22PM Sportsbet Set a Deposit Limit Handicap (1000 METRES)

ZANTHRON has been in the money at three of five runs here and was narrowly beaten by Lingani first-up from a spell here. He draws out but should give this a shake. NOSIE BY NATURE was a good Morphettville winner on debut back in December and was good behind Everglade at Murray Bridge two runs back before going to Ballarat and was well backed when beaten 4 lengths behind Takashima. SIR NOW is a 2yo taking on the older horses. He was good winning at Murray Bridge on debut and then 3rd behind Mesrour last time there. SILENT ALERT is a former Victorian with the Clarken/O’Shea stable who was a Stawell winner two runs back and trialled well at Balaklava behind Wiggum. SHADOWFAX draws out but has been racing well placed at four of his past five and was 2nd behind Magic Field last time. ZARKANA hasn’t raced since winning a Balaklava maiden in December and is a horse with talent. MIDNIGHT POKER is first-up for the Bain/Taylor stable, has trialled well and was a Stoney Creek winner three starts back.

RACE 3 - 12:57PM Quayclean Handicap (2250 METRES)

SMILING ASSASSIN was a good winner here two starts back beating Lake's Folly and followed up with a solid effort when 2nd behind Dixie Whistler at Murray Bridge last week. TEST THE LAW was a Murray Bridge winner two starts back beating Smokin’ Princess and then beaten 10.6 lengths behind Shakespeare at Gawler last time. BRAWL was 3rd behind Dixie Whistler here last time out and maps to get a nice run from a good barrier. BADISS was a $61 chance when he won like a $1.50 chance scoring an 8 length win at Gawler last time, WHISKEY SOUR was 3rd in that race. A TOUCH FROSTY was firm in the market but disappointing in the same race, she was a good Murray Bridge winner four starts back.

RACE 4 - 1:32PM Julie Seed Handicap (1400 METRES)


KOMACHI was back to winning form beating France’s Boy here when he got back and powered home. He’s been well found from $8-$4.40 and finds another suitable race. ANNIHILATE has been racing well and was placed at three consecutive starts before he was beaten 8.4 lengths behind Favourite Child at Gawler. ESTRAPAZ was a Cranbourne winner in January and looks an improver here from the inside gate with some good speed drawn around him. LONGWARRY was a good winner on speed winner at Murray Bridge last time and draws to be I the thick of the action. NEODIUM resumes and has been in the money at nine of 14 starts here on the Parks.  His trial was OK and he’ll make his presence felt from a good gate around here. MELISSA KATE was a good winner coming off the speed to win at Mount Gambier last time. AIGUILETTE was back to winning form at Murray Bridge last week.

RACE 5 - 2:07PM Sportsbet South Australian Sires' Produce Stakes (1400 METRES)

HEINOUS was a 2.25 length Sandown winner two starts back before he went to Eagle Farm and made good ground behind Megastar Heart. He draws a good gate and should be fighting out the finish. SUPERCILIOUS was only beaten 3.9 lengths in the Blue Diamond Prelude behind Hayasugi before leading throughout to break her maiden last time at Sandown over the 1300m. COLMAR powered through soft conditions to win the Racing Rewards feature at Murray Bridge two starts back before he was game when beaten 1.5 lengths behind Femminile on the Parks last time in the Listed Oaklands Plate. FOUR ACE comes to SA on the back of a Cranbourne win over the 1400m when he was on speed. CRIME OF PASSION was a $6 chance when beaten 6 lengths behind Gallant Son at Sale on debut. He’s in the Price/Kent Jnr stable and can improve sharply up in trip. BIG BRUTE looked good winning his maiden at Balaklava before he was beaten 8.8 lengths in the Oaklands Plate last time.

RACE 6 - Peter Elberg Funerals Handicap (1550 METRES)

WILLYBEAFACTOR was a Morphettville winner beating Nicajon before beating all but Favourite Child at Gawler last time. The winner has done again since and has solid each-way claims. SILENT DON was a nice return making good ground when beaten 5.4 lengths behind Klabel, he draws a nice gate and looks well over the odds. GAWNSKI was only beaten 2.5 lengths behind Air Assault in the Port Adelaide Guineas in April and has been freshened since he was beaten 4.22 lengths behind Run Naan at Mornington. He was OK in trial since. MEAN FEAT brings solid Victorian form here winning at Ballarat on the synthetic two runs back and then narrowly beaten by Orion The Hunter there last time. He draws out.  BIT OF A REBEL draws a nice barrier and was good beaten 0.6 lengths behind Komachi here last time. BELMONT AVENUE was OK at Gawler when 4th behind Reservoir Dog and draws a middle gate while CROWN MINT was OK last time and is another who looks over the odds. PEACEMAKER continues to race well.

RACE 7 - 3:27PM AIG Security Handicap (1550 METRES)

MAXILDO broke his maiden at Gawker and followed up winning at Gawler before losing the race on protest to Hard Prince last time. BONA FIDE STAR was a Morphettville winner four runs back and then 4th in the same race. EXTRA HOT was 3rd in the Hard Prince race last time when she just peaked on her run second-up and was a good winner prior. NAVY GOLD was 5th in the same race and won nicely at Balaklava beforehand.

RACE 8 - 4:02PM The Fotobase Group Handicap (1250 METRES)

EPISODIC has been flying winning four of her past five starts. She didn’t have a lot of luck when 2nd behind Subliminal at Caulfield before she bounced back with a smart win against a nice field here last time beating Bews and SWEET BABY BOOM who is racing very well. KLABEL draws the inside. He caught the eye first-up from a spell and has been good winning both runs since. He was too good for Boonie at Murray Bridge two runs back and then defeated SIXTEEN REASONS, who is perfectly drawn, and METRO LEGEND last time. POWER MISSILE looked good coming off the speed to beat Crackle ‘N’ Burn at Mount Gambier last time, this is harder but he’s a horse with some upside, has been specked and can be strong late. WILD IMAGINATION resumes and has a good fresh record.

RACE 9 - 4:40PM Dominant Handicap (1250 METRES)

SOLAR BLAST has been placed at two of three runs here. He was good making ground resuming his second-up record is solid and he draws a nice gate. WINE BARON was runner-up behind Reservoir Dog at Gawler last time. He’s lightly-raced and has plenty of talent. MERCHANT BOSS has a great record around here and was a winner three starts back and then beaten 2.9 lengths behind Komachi here last time. He comes back in trip fresh and should go well. SIGN FROM ABOVE has won two of his past three at Ballarat on the synthetic and draws to be in the mix again. SOAMES comes off a good first-up run when beaten a length in 3rd behind FLYIN’ FOR US at Murray Bridge. DARCEANDERMILL was OK running 2nd behind Per Ivy at Moe last time out.
