RACE 1 - 12:10PM Sportsbet Jockey Watch Maiden Plate (900 METRES)

IN LOVE was good running 3rd behind All Woke at Morphettville back in March and was beaten 4.2 lengths behind Lincolnshire on the Parks in the Dequetteville Stakes. She draw out and was solid first-up when beaten 3.5 lengths behind Astromancer at Balaklava and should take beating. BOLTONOVA resumes and was good on debut when beaten 3.5 lengths at Gawler before he went to Mount Gambier and was heavily backed but did everything wrong beaten 22 lengths behind Kuitpo Kiss. He has trialled well since. ROCKTAGON debuts for David Jolly and was 3rd in that trial. PRODIGAL LAD ran well here last start when beaten 3.5 lengths behind Watchme Win who has run well since up in grade. STAR GALDIATOR debuts for Grant Young and won a Morphettville trial ahead of his debut. SHAMSHALAR was good when 4th behind Kuitpo Kiss at Mount Gambier and then beaten 4.8 lengths behind Mazovia here last time. PETROULA is on debut for Henry Dwyer and draws the inside.

RACE 2 - 12:45PM Thomas Farms Maiden Plate (900 METRES)

STEEL TSUNAMI is on debut for Will Clarken and Niki O’Shea and won a recent Morphettville trial beating Knopfler. He looks a horse with ability. TRULY ELSA trialled up well and was good on debut when she led and was beaten a length in 3rd behind Palm Of Jumeirah. She should give a sight again. THE PLASTICS debut for David Jolly and trialled well behind Walk Like An Angel at Gawler back in February, was spelled again and then ran 4th behind Raw Grunt in a recent Morphettville trial. LITTLE PRINCESS is an interesting runner a Victorian filly who was in the market at Geelong on debut in January and then on speed again at Bendigo when well beaten before a break. She has trialled at Caulfield with Jamie Kah in the saddle in the lead-up to this.

RACE 3 - 1:20PM Thomas Farms Maiden Plate (1800 METRES)

GILDED AGE is knocking on the door and was good second-up from a spell when he took good ground of Rockabye Warrior at Balaklava. He jumps from 1400 to the 1800m here and looks the horse to beat. MANDINO has been strong through the line at two SA runs running 2nd behind Maxildo before he was beaten a half-length behind Moto Moto there last time. He draws the middle and should be in the mix. SAVSONIC was runner-up behind Tyusix at Balaklava last time out and should be in the mix. SUPER INTELLIGENT was runner-up behind Master Of Ceremony here three starts back and has claims from a low draw. BUSH INFLUENCE was runner-up behind Moto Moto at Gawler last time.

RACE 4 - 1:55PM Sportsbet Photo Finish Refund Benchmark 56 Handicap (2500 METRES)

SCAMSTER was 3rd behind Chosen Miss on the Parks three starts back and then beaten 5.6 lengths at Morphettville behind the same horse last time. This looks a winnable race. SHEARMAN DYER comes off a good effort up in class when 4th behind Fox Gem here in Saturday grade. He draws out but should run well. STORMSARRIVED is a Victorian who was placed at Ballarat on the synthetic before winning her maiden over 2400m at Swan Hill last time. She draws out and should measure-up here. KING OF AVALON was a good Gawler winner beaten Bella Kathleen before another good effort when beaten 1.8 lengths behind Fizique at Balaklava.

RACE 5 - 2:30PM Swanport Hotel Benchmark 56 Handicap (900 METRES)

LIMITED RISK was a good winner here on debut last March and was OK when beaten 5.3 lengths here behind KAIDO, who was impressive last time when a 4.2 length winner over THE BULL MCCABE, he draws out but must be included. ASTROMANCER had good market support when a 3.5 length winner over In Love at Balaklava last time and she can run well from a middle gate. MIDNIGHT POKER is a former Victoria who was beaten 5.8 lengths first-up in SA for the Bain/Taylor stable and can improve here. GRAND HOST has plenty of weight but was a good 1.8 length winner here last time beating VALENTINA CHARM who gets Jake Toeroek. BABAYAKA was good here two starts back when 2nd behind Orlabent and then beaten 5.5 lengths behind Mazovia last time.

RACE 6 - 3:05PM Carlton Draught Murray Bridge Gold Cup 12th October Benchmark 56 Handicap (1400 METRES)

ABIT RATTLEY was OK off a long break when 5th behind Important Product at Port Augusta and was a Balaklava winner in June last year. He can give this a shake. HARBOURING has won two of his past four the latest here beating Our Divinyl. He draws a good gate and should take some running down in an open race. ZURI MISS is a Mildura winner beating Chuckamicky, who has won there since, he gets blinkers for the first time and can give a race like this a shake. MR TRAFFICANTI is a former Victorian who has been in the money at nine of 21 starts now with Grant Young. He’s drawn out but gets Jason Holder. DARE TO BE FREE has been around the marl placed at Strathalbyn three runs back and was OK here behind Longwarry last time.

RACE 7 - 3:40PM Swan Reach Hotel Benchmark 56 Handicap (1400 METRES)

CHELSEA CUBE was a winner here back in January beating Holmes over the 1400m and resumed with a good effort running 2nd behind Pretentious Lass at Gawler. He draws out but should be in the mix here. HATEECH is racing well scoring a 2.1 length win here two starts back over Puissy Galore before being beaten 1.8 lengths in 4th behind Falanghina. BLIXTEN was sent out favourite when narrowly beaten by L’Esperance Rock at Balaklava last time. BENE MAGIC was a winner here on debut and comes off a 7.5 length 5th behind Voltage Point at Gawler.

RACE 8 - 4:15PM Mannum & Terminus Hotel Balaklava Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1800 METRES)

SPELMAN was a Gawler winner three starts back and comes off a good effort there beaten 1.7 lengths behind Chosen Miss. His form is solid and he looks hard to beat here. LEADER’S PRIDE was a Gawler winner three starts back and placed there last time when 3rd behind Vee Rod. He draws out but must be respected. FLIGHT DECK was 2nd in the Vee Rod race at Gawler and draws a nice barrier here. FLYING ASSASSIN comes off a good run when beaten 4.4 lengths behind A Samurai Mind at Morphettville. MOTO MOTO was a narrow winner at Gawler two runs back and then beaten 5.1 lengths in 6th behind Hot Flush there last week.

RACE 9 - 4:50PM The Murray Bridge Hotel Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1200 METRES)

GUSTY WAY was placed behind Lovely Lookin’ at Morphettville in March and then $9.50 to $5.50 when beaten 9.8 lengths behind Delightful Shecky before a break. He has market support first-up here beaten 5.9 lengths behind Kaido and should run well from the good barrier. STREETCAR APOLLO was a winner here in December last year and was OK when beaten 4.5 lengths behind Sir Now on the Parks last time out. PINCHBECK resumes here and was a $2.70 favourite at Naracoorte before a break. He was 3rd behind Deepfloat Diva in a recent Morphettville trial and has the blinkers off.
LAVA LAD was $4.80 into $3.40 when 4th behind Whenthedeelingsdun at Bordertown last time out. HIT THE SLOPES was a Balaklava winner last November, his two runs this time around have only been fair and was OK in a recent trial. HAUNUI was a Bordertown winner at $101 last time out.
