RACE 1 - 12:07PM Quayclean Handicap (1000 METRES)

MESROUR was a good winner at Murray Bridge two starts back beating Snoopy Now and then followed up with a good effort beaten 3.3 lengths behind Lingani in the Lightning Stakes at Morphettville at Listed level last time. He draws the inside and is going to somewhere in the finish. SIR NOW has been impressive early on winning two of his three starts and was too good for Zanthron here last time which is good form for this. He gets the claim from a good draw. PALM OF JUMEIRAH was impressive first-up from a spell when she was easy in the market but very strong through the line running down Brimarvi Rosemarie. She looks well placed again. MISS COTOLETTA is from the Jason Warren stable and won a Moe maiden on a heavy track. Richard and Chantelle Jolly have two horses on debut. Jake Toeroek rides KNOPFLER who was 2nd behind Steel Tsunami in a 1050m trial, that horse was well backed when OK at Murray Bridge mid-week. FASTASICAN draws gate two with Jacob Opperman booked and has won Balaklava and Morphettville trials.

RACE 2 - 12:42PM Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap (1250 METRES)

QUANAH was a 2.2 length Gawler winner on debut and draws a good gate. WINE BARRON has been racing well placed twice before he was an easing favourite and beaten 5 lengths behind Brazen Kingdom at Murray Bridge last time out. ON THE SCENT won consecutive races before running down the track behind Air Assault in the Port Adelaide Guineas. He draws the inside and should run well fresh. SIX STARS was a good Gawler winner beating Halliwell and was solid in two runs prior when 2nd behind Nicish and Artillery.

RACE 3 - 1:17PM Canadian Club Maiden Plate (1250 METRES)

GOLDRUSH GURU showed ability in his first preparation and was tried behind the smart Growing Empire in the Breeders Stakes at Group 3 level at Morphettville during the carnival and jumped out well at Morphettville on Tuesday. He’s been $11 into $5.50 from an inside draw. The Gluyas stable also has Mister Hockey on debut who was 2nd in a Morphettville trial and draws out. COMMISSIONS was $3 into $2.50 on debut at Murray Bridge when beaten 0.6 lengths behind Kirkliston Blu. He draws a good gate and should be in the mix again. SNOOPY NOW has been around the mark running 2nd behind Colmar in the Group 3 Sires’ Produce Stakes before he was beaten 3.2 lengths behind Hollywood High at Murray Bridge. He’s another who has been well found since markets went up. DUCHESS OF SUSSEX was solid running 2nd in the same race beaten 2.7 lengths and must be respected here. PETA’S HEART debuts for the Clarken/O’Shea stable and has had the three trials leading in winning her latest at Morphettville. Stablemate PAPPIANA was beaten 5.8 lengths in the Hollywood High race at Murray Bridge.

RACE 4 - 1:52PM PFD Food Services Handicap (2250 METRES)

GOLDEN HIPS has won three of his past four the latest at Sale when a 2 length winner over Dahwilly. He draws out but looks hard to beat here. MOTORACE was narrowly beaten at Sandown two runs back before he was beaten 2 lengths in 4th behind Golden Crusader at Sandown on the Hillside last time. He’s been $8 into $4.60 from a good barrier. TEST THE LAW was a winner here two runs back and then tried hard when beaten 4 lengths behind New York Hurricane at Morphettville last week. CHOSEN MISS is racing well and was a winner on the Parks two starts back before running 4th in the New York Hurricane here last time. Stablemate SMILING ASSASSIN has been racing well winning here four runs back and was placed at Murray Bridge last time behind FOX GEM who was ridden quietly when he dived late to score a narrow win at Murray Bridge last time. D'ISLES looked in trouble before picking up and winning smartly back in class at Gawler.

RACE 5 - 2:27PM Sportsbet Fast Form Handicap (1550 METRES)

PLATINUM WOLF has been in the money at all three second-up runs and stuck on well resuming when beaten 3 lengths behind Klabel at Murray Bridge. He draws out but will be in the mix. FLY LIE was a Bendigo winner two runs back before he was beaten 5.88 lengths behind Margie’s Boy at Sandown. He’s another drawn out. BIT OF A REBEL has been placed at two of three runs here and stuck on OK when beaten 4.7 lengths behind Willybeafactor. He gets in well from a low draw after the claim. MISS BARILOCHE comes off a 2.75 length Ballarat win beating Russian Summer and should run well here down in the weights. VEE ROD and CHARM SLINGA both come off midweek Gawler wins and draw low.

ALPINE FLYER comes off a good return when beaten 1.85 lengths behind Justdoit at Flemington. She’s a winner here, is in well after the claim and gets her chance to find winning form. NEODIUM was good on speed when beaten 3.2 lengths behind Annihilate at Murray Bridge last time. He’s been in the money at nine of 15 starts here and should give a sight. PRINCE JOFRA was $4.50 into $2.80 when beaten 3.5 lengths behind Cawdor here last time in late June, he’s been freshened and should go well. CULLEN SKINK was good first-up from a spell when 3rd behind Exalted Dame here before being beaten 5 lengths behind Annihilate at Murray Bridge and can improve. YURI ROYALE has a good record here with two wins from five starts and has trialled OK for his return. ZOLTAN led throughout to score at massive odds beating Fretta at Sandown last time and draws out.

CHAMBERS BAY has been in the money at two of five runs here and was a good Gawler winner back in class before being beaten 3.3 lengths behind Leader’s Pride there last time. He gets in well after the claim and draws the inside. ANGELIC APPEAL comes off a good effort running 2nd behind Falanghina at Murray Bridge. SILENT DON wasn’t beaten far first-up from a break but hasn’t fired in two runs since, the latest beaten 6.1 lengths behind Maracourt at Murray Bridge. KATERING is a former Victorian now in SA with Michael Hickmott and was placed at Geelong last time behind King’s Capital. SIR RANDOLPH and WHISKEY HANGOVER were 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Perdition at Bordertown last time.

RACE 8 - 4:17PM Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap (1000 METRES)

AVIATRESS was solid in the market and came from well back to be beaten 0.4 in 3rd spot in the Listed Lightning Stakes. She was very good last time in work and had no luck in the G3 Proud Miss before a break. She looks well placed here and has been $4 into $2.50 since markets opened. LINGANI has been impressive all preparation. She was super from a long way back and between runners to beat Kuroyanagi in that Lightning Stakes last time. She has solid each-way claims again. BRISTLER was a Moonee Valley winner back in February and has the two trials under his belt. He’s been in the money at three of four here and should run well. HOWL is a bit of an enigma but his best is certainly good enough to be somewhere in the mix in a race like this, he flies fresh and is another who races well on the Parks. Jake Toeroek takes the ride from a good gate. ALL BEANS draws the inside and was a good winner first-up from a short break beaten Dunmaghlas.

RACE 9 - 4:57PM Winning Edge Presentations Handicap (1000 METRES)

IPHIMEDIA is a mare with ability and was runner-up twice in decent 2yo races and was good last time when 2nd behind Fragile Love. She has each-way appeal in an open race. MAGIC FIELD was a Gawler winner before stepping up to city grade and beating Shadowfax. He tackled the Lightning and was beaten 10.8 lengths behind Lingani. He gets in here well and should be in the mix. MAZOVIA is chasing three wins in succession here, winning her maiden before beating Left Turn Clyde at Murray Bridge. She must be respected. KALASEC has been placed at three of his past five and was beaten 1.7 lengths by Zanthron last time on the outer track. He draws out but is going to give this a shake. DESERT DANCING was OK behind stablemate Hajra at Murray Bridge two runs back and can run well.
