RACE 1 - 12:22PM Canadian Club Maiden Plate (1250 METRES)

VENDEMMIA brings some OK Victorian form here beaten 2.31 lengths behind Delivering at Sandown. He draws the middle and looks well placed here. Stablemate THE WAY WE WERE was $4 into $2.80 when beaten 4.2 lengths at Hamilton last time. She draws a low gate. SWYCHO is a big watch a former Kiwi on debut for Michael Hickmott who was runner-up beaten 1.5 lengths at Ruakaka in June over 1400m. He draws a wide gate and should measure-up here. SWITCH HIT ran OK here last time when beaten 2.9 lengths behind The Golden Fist and draws a middle gate. GUMERACHA CRACKER has been placed at his past three the latest beaten 0.9 lengths behind The Golden Fist, he draws out and should run well.

RACE 2 - 12:57PM Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville - (Oct. 19th - Nov 9th) Handicap (1000 METRES)

MANSIERE was beaten 3.65 lengths in 6th behind Estriella in the Inglis Sprint at Flemington in March and weas a Sale winner three starts back before being beaten 4.62 lengths behind Beast Mode at Caulfield last time. The glue on shoes go on here but his best would be hard to beat. I MISS MARGIE was a $2.70 favourite winning over the 1000m at Ballarat before he was on speed and beaten 7.53 lengths in the Beast Mode race at Caulfield. WATCHME WIN was a Murray Bridge winner on debut and followed up with a good effort beaten 2 lengths in running 4th behind Hooked On Wealth on the outer track before he was 0.9 lengths 2nd behind Commander Meroo last time here. Stablemate FUN FOREVER was narrowly beaten at Gawler behind Whenthedeelingsdun and has been around the mark in some better races. GOPHER FRANK can run a cheeky race here from a good gate. He’s won two of his past three at Mount Gambier over the 900/910m and gets in with no weight on his back. IN LOVE is a lightly-raced filly who was a soft 1.6 length winner over Boltanova at Murray Bridge last time but draws out.

RACE 3 - 1:32PM Sportsbet Handicap (1950 METRES)

FLAMIN’ ROMANS has been in the money at five of seven and was a Geelong winner two runs back before a good effort when beaten 2.96 lengths behind Lincoln Rocks at Moonee Valley. That’s good form for this he draws a nice gate and should take beating. Fellow Victorian SEA OF LIGHTS was a Ballarat winner three starts back before running 3rd at her past couple, the latest at Sandown behind Commander Drift. She draws a middle gate and looks the danger. HOT FLUSH comes off a good win back in class and draws well. EIGHT ON THE DOT is another coming out of provincial grade and FLYING ASSASSIN is another who has been racing well back in class.

RACE 4 - 2:07PM Sportsbet Set A Deposit Limit Handicap (2250 METRES)

COMMANDER HARRY brings some solid form here running 4th behind Lincoln Rocks at Moonee Valley before he was beaten 4.38 lengths behind Lauding there last time. He gets some weight relief and should be in the finish. CALL ME VEXATIOUS isn’t far away and was runner-up behind Morryl Moral on the outer track last week. PACHINO was beaten 7.13 lengths in the Lauding racer and was a Sandown winner last August and draws the inside.

RACE 5 - 2:42PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1250 METRES)

THUNDER AWARD was runner-up at three consecutive runs over the border before he was beaten 2.76 lengths behind Freak Of Nature at Sandown last time. QUANAH is unbeaten in two runs and was a winner here beating On The Scent last time. He draws a nice gate and should be thereabouts again. GOLDRUSH GURU looked good when he darted underneath horses to win first-up from a spell beating subsequent winner Duchess Of Sussex. HANGYOURHAT has won two of his five starts the latest at Casterton when a 1.75 length winner over Almsgiver. BIG SWAN is a former Victorian who won a Sale maiden before he chased home Warmonger at Flemington last November. His two trials for the Clarken/O’Shea stable have been OK and he draws a nice gate. RICHE D’AMORE comes off a god effort here when beaten 1.34 lengths behind Commander Meroo and must be respected. NURYS was too good for The Golden Fist as a $51 chance on the outer track two runs back before he followed up with a 0.7 length winner on The Bull McCabe. She draws to be a factor again. COUNT OF TOULOUSE has won two of seven and was beaten 2.12 lengths behind Flying Concello at Ballarat on the synthetic last time.

RACE 6 - 3:17PM SkyCity Handicap (1250 METRES)

THE GUAVA has come back in great form winning two of his last three beating Jean Valjean first-up from a break and then just doing enough to fight off Sir Kingsford last time here. He draws a good gate, rises in class but down in the weights and will take some beating again. STRUCK GOLD has a handy record and was 2nd behind Ultimate Kiss at Bendigo two runs back and then beaten 5.8 lengths at Sandown. He’s been back to the trials and draws a gate to give this a big shake. SIXTEEN REASONS missed the start and was huge running 2nd behind Klabel at Murray Bridge two runs back and then beaten 3.3 lengths in The Guava race last time. JACKS ON ICE was OK when resuming and has been in the money at all four second-up runs. He gets some weight relief and should run well. JAZZ AFFAIR has been in the money at seven of nine runs and hasn’t raced since running 3rd behind East Indiaman on the outer track in May. ALL BEANS was OK up in class when beaten 1.9 lengths in 5th behind Jack The Lad last week on the outer track.

HE’S BESET has been in the money at 12 of his 16 starts (with four wins). He was a drifter in betting when a 5.25 length Echuca winner last time and he’s going to give this a big shake from a good barrier. FREAK OF NATURE has won four of 12 the latest at Sandown beating Delivering. He draws out but must be given plenty of thought here. TAPINFORPAR has been around the mark, GOLIOTUS can improve.

RACE 8 - 4:34PM The Fotobase Group Handicap (1000 METRES)

DEEPFLOAT DIVA created a big impression early and was sent out a $4.20 favourite and never really got warm first-up beaten 5 lengths behind Hooked On Wealth on the outer track. He draws out but could be a rapid improver here. MAGIC FIELD looked good winning consecutive race before he was well beaten in the Lightning Stakes. He was OK again last time beaten 2.7 lengths behind Winning Revolution here and should run well. HUNTLEY LADY is a mare with ability and was beaten 4.2 lengths in 4th behind Sunzou here in April. She’s now with Ros Day and must be respected. DARCEANDERMILL was a winner here in July and was then on speed when beaten 7.5 lengths behind Valois. He was beaten 7 lengths behind Estriella in a Cranbourne trial and draws a sticky gate. KAIDO was a good Murray Bridge winner two starts back before running 2nd behind Aztec Dancer at Murray Bridge. He draws a good gate and should be in the mix. MINTULEE has been placed at her past couple, the latest here beaten 1.9 lengths in 3rd behind Winning Revolution after leading.

CHAMBER’S BAY has been in the money at three of six starts here and was too good for Rockabye Warrior last time. She gets some weight relief from a middle barrier. HIGH FIVE was a Ballarat maiden winner in April before he was sent out a $3.60 favourite at Caulfield. He has trialled well for his return and should be in the mix. I CATCHEM FOX won a Warracknabeal maiden before he was close-up beaten 1.25 lengths behind Motitsi. He draws a nice barrier and should be thereabouts. JILLADORA has been on the heels of placegetters at her two runs back, beaten 4.4 lengths behind Trustfall at Horsham last time. ANGELIC APPEAL is a two-time winner her and ran 2nd behind Falanghina at Murray Bridge two starts back.
