QUEENOFTHEAIR looked good coming off the speed to beat Zestiman by 3 lengths on the Parks last time. She has upside and should be in the finish again. DISCREETLY BLUE was very good on debut at Morphettville when she was beaten a half-length behind Duchess Of Sussex. IRRESISTABELLA was a $20 chance when she produced a big run to beat Wild Winner here. MONDELLO was beaten 2.9 lengths in the Queenoftheair race while WILD WINNER was favourite here on debut two runs back.

PETA’S HEART had three trials before a good debut here when beaten 1.2 lengths behind Raw Grint. She draws a good gate and this looks a nice option. EXTRA BOUNCE looks the danger placed behind Kian at Gawler two runs back and then again OK late beaten 2.3 lengths behind Silent Emmy at Strathalbyn. HARD LEAF was up on speed when 2nd twice at Mount Gambier recently and can be in the mix.

LITTLE PRINCESS was good running 3rd behind Truly Elsa at Murray Bridge two runs back and then following up with a solid effort beaten 0.2 lengths behind Duchess Of Sussex at Morphettville. Jamie Kah does on and she’ll take beating. PRODIGAL LAD has been OK running 4th at three of his past four starts. SUNDOGG has been around the mark and was beaten 4.7 lengths behind Goldrush Guru first-up and that horse has won since.

MANDINO has been placed at all four runs since coming to SA and just missed behind Savsonic at Strathalbyn last time. He looks hard to beat. RHINESTONE RORY has been placed at three of his last four and made ground when beaten 2.35 lengths behind Singing Duke at Mildura on Saturday. GREY FOLLY has been working towards a win and draws the right barrier to be in the finish here. BUSH INFLUENCE ran OK at odds when 3rd behind Savsonic at Strathalbyn last time.

D’ISLES was impressive coming from a long way back to win at Gawler two runs back beaten Ketchikan. She was beaten 5.7 lengths behind Privileged Son on the Parks last time and looks suited here back in class. KING OF AVALON was a Gawler winner four runs back and comes off a solid effort beaten 1.5 lengths behind Benz Baron at Strathalbyn. TAMETOMO stuck on OK up on speed when beaten 10 lengths in 4th behind Call Me Vexatious n the Parks. LADY DE LUNE is a winner here and was OK when beaten 3.2 lengths in 4th behind Super Sharp at Port Augusta last time.

EVERGLADE won her first two starts for the Bain/Taylor sable before running 5th behind Klabel at Murray Bridge. She was well back and finished off well when beaten 2.5 lengths behind Zanthron on the Parks last time. She draws a nice gate and looks hard to beat. VOLTAGE POINT has been in good form and scored at Gawler and Morphettville before he beat all but the smart Sir Sway at Morphettville last time. He draws a nice gate and should be fighting out the finish. SANTASTICO has been good on the Ballarat synthetic at his past four winning there two runs back before being beaten 0.27 lengths in 3rd behind Lady Dumont last starts. KATIM’S CLUB has been runner-up at three of her past four the latest at Naracoorte and she draws a nice barrier. IMPORTANT PRODUCT has been racing well back in class and draws the inside gate. MISS REMSKI is fitter for one run back and can improve.

BELMONT AVENUE was placed at his only start here and comes in fresh where he’s been in the top two, four of seven runs. He should race on speed from the inside gate and look the winner for the long way. BANGERANG REDBACK made good ground last when narrowly beaten by Hasslefree at Murray Bridge last week. He draws out but is suited again after the claim. BYWATERS ROAD was a winner here two runs back. COMMANDING REIGN wasn’t beaten far here last time and draws well.

STOKOMO had good form last campaign and was OK first-up from a spell when beaten 5.6 lengths behind Annie’s Rose. He’s fitter here, has won here before and should give this a shake. THERE GOES MY HERO is a former Kiwi on debut for the Bain/Taylor stable and was beaten 8.1 lengths in a Morphettville trial behind The Golden Fist. PULAMBI has been placed at two of three runs here and was beaten 3.2 lengths behind Nurys at Strathalbyn last time. She draws a nice barrier and should be in the mix.

RACE 9 - 4:15PM BTR Excavations Balaklava Cup (1600 METRES)
Tempo will come from out wide with SIR KINGSFORD has been set for this, he loves to lead in his races and looks ready to peak here after just missing behind The Guava last time. Likewise AIR ASSAULT will roll forward from an even wider gate. He looked disappointing on face value in the Behemoth Stakes when he led but folded up late behind an impressive SECOND TO NUN who has come back in even better form, she draws a middle gate and is they can run on, she’s going to be hitting the line hard late. Victorian ARQANA draws to get the perfect run from an inside gate coming off consecutive Melbourne wins. MARACOURT is another who draws the right part of the track, he was a good Morphettville winner last time. FAVOURITE CHILD gets Jamie Kah from the middle barrier, her form has been super this time around, stablemate SACHEM draws out and will need some luck. ALPINE FLYER was huge when 3rd in this race last year and comes off a good return to winning form, TIPPA ran well first-up but this is harder. PUDDING, LORD VLADIVOSTOK and MY KHALIFA are all up to a race like this.

ALPHA FLIGHT is back from a Darwin campaign and draws a nice gate with the blinkers going back on. He won three of his first seven here in SA for the Jolly stable where he was an on speed horse and should give this a shake. THE BULL MCCABE draws out and has been placed at his past couple the latest at Strathalbyn behind Nurys. JIMMY’S EDGE has been in the money at four of five starts here and was OK behind Big Shaq at Casterton last time. MADAM FURPHY has a good record here and was OK beaten 2.9 lengths behind Aztec Dancer at Murray Bridge last time. SPIRITUAL GAL is capable in a race like this she was placed at four of five runs before a break on the west coast and is now with Justin Pickering. SHIKANIC has been racing well winning at Port Augusta four runs back and running 2nd there last time.
