RACE 1 - 11:57AM Rural City Of Murray Bridge – Moorundi Classic (900 METRES)

HIATUS is a $350k yearling for the McEvoy stable and looked good winning a recent Cranbourne trial beating stablemate XTREME, who was a $160k yearling. Fellow Victorian MEISHO was 2nd in a Caulfield trial behind All Pink. NEVERENDS was a $150k purchase who draws the inside and was 4th in a recent trial here while STEEL TRAP, a $30k yearling, was good winning a trial here on the same day and draws out. She’s been the best backed since markets went up.

RACE 2 - 12:32PM Happy 40th Birthday Sam Handicap (Heat of Sportsbet Viddora Series) (1100 METRES)

SPIRIT OF CAMELOT is a promising mare resuming and she won her maiden at Ballarat back in April and was then 3rd behind material Dreams in the Listed Nitschke Stakes. She followed up and was sent out a $2.70 favourite when beaten 8.3 lengths in 3rd behind Poifect in the Listed Adelaide Guineas. The form out of both those races is very good for this and she has the benefit of a recent trial under her belt. KINETIC JEWEL has a handy record winning at Morphettville last November and drifted first-up from a break when 4th beaten 0.7 lengths behind Old Time Rock on the Parks. SUPER ALANA has trialled smartly for her return winning by 8 lengths at Strathalbyn. She was tried in some good races last time including the Queen Of The South Stakes at should be in the mix. ROCKSTAR MEGGSY resumes and was racing in consistent form before a break. She should run well after a solid recent trial. LOTZA BUBBLES drifted in betting but ran well first-up from a spell when beaten 2.2 lengths in 5th behind Jean Valjean and draws a low barrier. ALL ABOUT EVE was well beaten at her SA debut behind Deepfloat Diva at Morphettville and has been back to the trials.

RACE 3 - 1:07PM SR Asphalt Handicap (1400 METRES)

HIGH ON SUGAR was a winner here two runs back before running 2nd behind New York Scandal on the Parks. He draws a nice gate and should be in the mix. EVEN SHARPER was a Balaklava winner three runs back and has been good chasing home Jilladora and Voltage Point at his past couple. SOLAR MIST was back to winning form with a good effort coming off the speed to beat Hypernova at Murray Bridge last time. He draws out but getting to 1400m should suit. THE MANSMAN was a good winner at Sale before running 5th behind Red Galaxy at Cranbourne and should be in the mix from a good barrier. MISS REMSKI was good running 2nd behind Cararada at Morphettville last week and maps well from the middle. FLAMBARD has been well found since markets went up and was good behind Artful Tawny last time. DOLCEMENTE was a winner back in class two runs back.

RACE 4 - 1:42PM Bleasdale Wines Handicap (1400 METRES)

FALANGHINA was a good winner here first-up in SA beating ANGELIC APPEAL, who has placed at two of her past three, and was OK again last time when 4th behind Voltage Point on the Parks. VIXENETTE was a winner on the Ballarat synthetic two runs back before she was beaten 5.65 lengths behind Swiftfalcon at Flemington last time which is good form for this. SOLAR BLAST was good running 3rd behind On The Scent at Morphettville two runs back before he was beaten 5.1 lengths behind Longer Route on the Parks last time. He gets the blinkers for the first time here from the inside barrier. ENCIPHERING is a winner here and was OK first-up from a spell when 3rd behind I Catchem Fox on the Parks. The stable is having a good run and he draws the middle. PROVEN CORRECT was a winner here three starts back.

RACE 5 - 2:17PM Bridge Carpet Court Andrew Mills 1000 Guineas (Heat of Sportsbet Rebel Raider Series) (1000 METRES)

KARAVAS was a winner here on debut before winning the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes at Flemington and was subsequently disqualified. She was good in three runs earlier in the year, gets some weight relief and should be in the mix. Stablemate PURE AQUA won the Listed Without Fear Stakes in April and was then beaten 6.5 lengths behind Growing Empire in the Breeders Stakes. BLUE STRATUM was a Pakenham and Moonee Valley winner last time in work and resumed with an OK run beaten 3.25 lengths behind Aldolfito. He gets some weight relief from a good barrier and has been solid since markets opened. TRULY ELSA hasn’t done a lot wrong and was a winner here three starts back and was good when beaten 0.7 lengths behind Mintulee last time. ROYAL MAJESTY was a winner at Morphettville in June beating Colmar and she has trialled well. DYER was a winner on debut before he was well beaten here on a soft track in June. He ha trialled OK for his return. BAY OF PORTLAND is a nice horse resuming. He was 3nd here on debut before winning a Balaklava maiden.

RACE 6 - 2:57PM Marshall & Brougham Constructions Reg Nolan Flying (Heat of Sportsbet Gytrash Series) (1200 METRES)

FANCIFY was a Caulfield and Flemington winner before she went to Queensland and was game beaten 2.8 lengths behind At Witz End in the Listed Eye Liner when she led. She looks hard to beat here fresh. KARACASU has been in the money at three of four starts here and the stable rated him high enough to have a crack at the Group 1 Goodwood earlier in the year. He will be running on strongly. Stablemate MASTER EIGHT has been good since coming back from a spell, beaten 3.1 lengths behind Marble Arch in his latest and must be respected. VALIDATED resumes, he didn’t have a lot go right last time in work in the Group1 Hawkes Stakes and Straight Six in Melbourne but has trialled, and has also won three of four starts here. He draws a nice barrier. OCEAN REWARD is now with Stephen Theodore and is a winner here, his latest run was OK beaten 6.7 lengths behind Marble Arch on the Parks. Lachie Neindorf rides from a good gate.

RACE 7 - 3:32PM Thomas Farms Handicap (1400 METRES)

ANGLAND looked smart winning his first two at Pakenham in April. His two runs back from a spell have been OK running 4th at Sale and Geelong, this looks his chance to regain winning form. INTREPID EAGLE was runner-up at three runs before a break, the latest behind Poifect at Flemington. He had market support first-up when beaten 6.56 lengths behind Isthmus at Flemington and his second-up record is very good. ZASZOU is a progressive mare who was a $7 chance winning at Seymour two runs back before following up with a Sandown win as a $12 chance. She draws out but is going to be in the mix. ROGUE ROCKER made ground at Ballarat last time behind Zamborghini and isn’t far off winning. JILLADORA looked good coming off the speed to win on the Parks over the 1400m before jumping in trip to 1550m when 3rd behind Longer Route last time.

RACE 8 - 4:12PM Adelaide Event Catering Handicap (Heat of Sportsbet Riziz Series) (1100 METRES)

THE GOLDEN FIST ran favourite at his first three starts and broke his maiden on the Parks beating Fine Future. He followed up beaten 2 lengths behind Nurys there last time and the blinkers go on here from a good barrier. CHIPSON is a horse capable on his day, he draws the middle and has been in the money at all three runs here, the latest behind Bulls On Parade in May. ESCUTORE is a winner at his only start here, his fresh record is solid and he has a trial under his belt. ANDREW’S MEMORY was solid in the market when a half-length winner over Misludi first-up. That form is solid and he should go well again. MAGIC FIELD was third in that race, he did win two in succession in June and draws out. WATCHME WIN was a winner here on debut and has been good in three runs since, running 3rd behind Babayka on the Parks at his most recent. HOWL made ground from the back beaten 2.2 lengths behind Jean Valjean on the Parks last time. OVERSTATED won well first-up on the Parks.

RACE 9 - 4:52PM Carlton Draught Murray Bridge Gold Cup (Heat of Sportsbet Happy Trails Series) (1600 METRES)

FAVOURITE CHILD has been in great form and won four in succession early in the preparation. She was scratched at the gate sin the Balaklava Cup when she was set to run favourite and was back to her best beating Jenkins on the Parks last time. Stablemate SECOND TO NUN won the Listed Leon Macdonald three starts back, was beaten 5.4 lengths in the Balaklava Cup before she finished off well at Moonee Valley last time when 2.95 lengths behind Alsephina. Michael Hickmott has four runners chasing a home town Cup win. DUBAI POET was very good running 2nd behind Air Assault in the Balaklava Cup last time out and has been set for this race. ALPINE FLYER was a good winner on the Parks before she was beaten 3.7 lengths in the Balaklava Cup. RIVERPLATE draws a good gate and improved last time when 3rd behind Test The Law on the Parks. MARACOURT has been in good form and won two in succession before he was the eye catcher in the Balaklava Cup last time. He draws out which suits and can be strong late. JACK THE LAD won this race last year. He was impressive first-up from a break winning at a price before running 4th behind TEST THE LAW on the Parks last time and looks over the odds. THIRSTY GUEST is another who has been set for this race, he finished off strongly first-up behind Aviatress over the 1250m on the Parks and the jump to the mile looks ideal. OUR EMPRESS ZOE had specking two runs back at Moonee Valley when beaten 1.75 lengths in 6th behind One Dream One Soul before a good Flemington run narrowly beaten into 3rd behind Haaracaine. WRITTEN IN CODE hasn’t been out of the Top 4 in his past seven starts placed three times in succession before running 4th behind Zaszou at Sandown last time.

RACE 10 - 5:28PM Beyond Ink Handicap (Heat of Sportsbet Skybeau Series) (2000 METRES)

MOTORACE is on the back up from an impressive win at Morphettville last weekend when he sat up on speed and was too good for rivals. GHETTO SUPASTAR ran his usually good race at Morphettville last week making ground in that race, this is first go at 2000m but must be respected. ARUGAMAMA is a good mare suited over 2000m and her first-up run was good behind See You In Heaven in the Group 3 Behemoth Stakes, her past couple have only been fair. She was well beaten in the Balaklava Cup and then worked home OK at Caulfield behind Whisky On The Hill. This is the type of race she can bounce back in. DUNALLEY will be in the mix here. He was a winner here five runs back and has opted for this race over the Cup, he draws a nice gate. BIG STORY was beaten 3.11 lengths at Ballarat last time and is capable of improving here.
