How it played last time: The rail was out 12m from 1000m-WP and 9m for the remainder, however played fairly. Winners mostly finished just off fence to middle and raced up near the lead, off pace to midfield.
Verdict: Back to the true position and a fresh pad will see the track present well, although will be rain affected. Expecting this track to favour horses on the pace and in the first half of the field, with plenty of straight to make ground out wide. As is normally the case, expect to see backmarkers come into play later in the day, with bigger fields and the speed on.
