RACE 1 - 12:22PM Furphy Handicap (1600 METRES)
ANGASTON was well backed to win at Gawler and followed that with a solid effort behind Basarwa. He gets in with no weight, draws a nice gate and should be hard to beat. TERRITORY TITAN will appreciate the big drop in weight here after leading up and fading last time. His previous was a good winner under similar conditions and he can run a big race. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS has a good record but his best form has been on rain affected tracks. His first-up run was OK, he’s jumped out nicely since and maps well from the barrier. TRADEWIND was a winner here over the mile five runs back and is capable. BLACK SAIL gets the blinkers back on here. PEARL BANDIT was only plain last time but draws to get a nice run.

RACE 2 - 12:57PM Adelaide Racing Carnival - April 30th -May 21st Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)
LORD LUKER is the big watch here an Irish import on debut for Will Clarken. He won a recent Gawler trial beating Fields Of Ivy and draws a nice gate for his first run on Australian soil. PRINCESS RAFFLES showed plenty of ability in her first campaign and was placed in the Magic Millions at Murray Bridge behind Scorched Earth and finished 4th behind Cloudy in the Breeders’. She draws out but gets the blinkers for the first time. EXTREMELY DISCREET could be the improver here with the blinkers going on. COURAGEOUS HEARTS stuck on well after leading behind Samesyn. GUN FOR HIRE ran well on debut, JAAZEB has ability.

RACE 3 - 1:32PM Zilzie Wines Handicap (1200 METRES)
ANGEL LIKE has been luckless in her past two over the 955m at the Valley. She flashed home from a mile back two starts back and then was held-up at the wrong time last outing. She has the claim and a good gate. SHARWIN is a Victorian with two wins from three starts. He led throughout last time at Pakenham and is sure to give this a shake. SAMESYN is a handy filly who is well weighted and over the odds. STREET SWAGGER is a last-start Gawler winner who draws wide. MANHATTEN TIMES is a nice horse and was good winner over Pegasi here last time. He draws out but must be respected. SCAMPTON is a Victorian who draws well and comes off a maiden win as favourite and must be respected. CHARM SLINGA has ability but will need it further.

RACE 4 - 2:07PM Weslo Security Handicap (1600 METRES)
LAKE’S FOLLY was luckless again on Parks track last week behind Ambidazzle. He draws a sticky gate but deserves to win a race. Stablemate PRINCE OF FENCES spaced rivals back in class winning a Strathalbyn maiden last time. ANTARCTIC OCEAN was good behind Yulong Justify last time an draws a nice barrier but has plenty of weight even after the claim. THE MAP won a Balaklava maiden and resumed with a good effort behind Strike Eagle. FOX D’OR had no luck two starts back and was flat footed on the turn last week but his last 100m was OK.

RACE 5 - 2:47PM Lord Reims Stakes (2600 METRES)
HASTA LA WAR resumed with a solid effort in the Premier’s Plate when he did his best work late behind Wyclif. He is extremely well weighted having placed in a Group 2 and Group 3 back in the Spring and this really does look his race to lose. EPERDUMENT won this race in 2020 and was placed behind Tralee Rose last year before running 2nd in the Adelaide Cup. She was OK behind Wyclif last time and must be given some thought. WERTHEIMER is a winner over 2500m and his Strathalbyn Cup run was OK, he’s the horse with upside. SO BENE finished off well behind Call Me Shamus last time and can run into the money.

RACE 6 - 3:27PM Grand Syndicates - 5% Shares Just $1,100 Handicap (1100 METRES)
Open race. ZORRO’S DREAM was a Flemington winner in August and resumed with a handy effort behind Melba Storm. He draws a gate, gets the claim and has been solid in early betting. ECUMENICAL returns here after a spring that started promising running 2nd behind Annivisto back in September. Her fresh record is good and she’s solid each-way value. GREAT LEVELLER has been in good form and returned from a disappointing Melbourne run with a good effort behind Brimarvi Vehero last time. EXTRA MILE was in good form before a break winning consecutive races before making ground behind Lombardo which is a solid form line. HIDDEN LEGEND is second-up for Will Clarken and wasn’t beaten far at his local debut behind Brimarvi Vehero. WINNING WEATHER comes out of the same race and was good first-up. HEARTY LASS has talent and her fresh record is sound. GINGER JONES is capable in a race like this he was beaten 3 lengths in the Gold Topaz back in July.

RACE 7 - 4:07PM Thomas Farms Supporting SAROA Handicap (1200 METRES)
SPIN THE REWARD was impressive first-up from a spell when he settled back before rounding them up smartly to score. He draws well and can go on with it here. STRUCK BY is a nice horse resuming. His best form is over slightly further but he draws well and has a claim. JAPERY was well backed before running 2nd behind Night Passage on the Parks last time. He draws the inside and looks a big chance here. YOUNG JIMMY made it four straight wins beating Sparkup here last time. He gets some weight relief and a good barrier. SPARKUP draws well and has been narrowly beaten his past couple. CAFÉ RIZU is on debut for Will Clarken and has trialled OK for this. FIELD OF ROSES was a Sandown winner three starts back. COOL MAGNUM has been racing well.

YURI ROYALE was good behind Morty two starts back before a strong win last time when he worked midrace to sit outside the speed and held off Harleymoven in the drive to the line. Jumping up in trip shouldn’t be an issue and he will take beating again. HARLEYMOVEN won well first-up and only just missed last time after a perfect run. He meets the winner worse at the weights here and draws a sticky barrier. MORTY comes out of the same race and was solid, jumping in distance shouldn’t worry him. SANBLAS maps well from the good gate and has been racing well. EXALTED RUTH resumes here and has been placed at six of her nine starts here and had some form around the likes of Comfort Girl last time in work. HEIR OF TAVISTOCK is racing well but draws a sticky gate.

PEGASI led and was run down Manhatten Times last time. The slight drop in distance is a plus, he draws a good gate and should take some beating here. HEYINGTON STATION was well backed when down the track behind Lianne at Murray Bridge last time. IDEAS MAN led and stuck on well behind Quietly Discreet last time. He’s poorly drawn but must be respected in an open race. KICK was a Cranbourne winner three starts back and capable of measuring up in a race like this. ALL IN WAR is fitter for one run back and can run a forward race here from a good barrier. JUSTAKIDD has been placed his past couple. RUSTY HALO maps well and won three straight at Murray Bridge last time in.
