RACE 1 - 11:32AM Northpoint Murraylands Handicap (1000 METRES)
Good race to kick off the day. CALYPSO REIGN came off the speed to run down Magnetic Edge and Extra Time here last time. He’s won three of five (with two placings) here and can win again in the small field. STAR HILLS had good specking and continued his love of the Parks to win well last time. He maps well and shapes as a big threat. OAMARU OWL has won five of nine first-up and trialled very nicely ahead of his debut for the Letts-Maund stable and might be the horse given a big sight on speed. ALLEBOOM had market support but was only fair first-up.

RACE 2 - 12:07PM Weddings @ Bridges Event Centre Handicap (1200 METRES)
TEST THE LAW is the danger. Getting to 1200m should suit after he sat off the speed and won well here first-up. JOYRIDER is a James Harron colt who cost $800k. He’s had the three jump outs placed in his past couple. ZOU SENSATION is another Victorian here on debut and finished 2nd in a recent Flemington jump-out. BUGATTI GOLD is the other we haven’t seen and has been OK in a couple of jump-outs.

RACE 3 - 12:42PM Irongate Handicap (1000 METRES)
KEEP READING shoed enough in his first campaign. He was a dual winner and placed behind Smokin’ Val before a break. His recent trial here was OK and he can win first-up. SIGH is a Victorian who came off the speed for a good win at Pakenham Synthetic on debut. He’s in very good hands and should run ell. JAAZEB jumped out well ahead of his return and his overall record is OK for a race like this. BAJAN BELLE won well on the Parks on debut. She maps to get a nice run here. GLOVED won well first-up for the Clarken stable, CALLA DREAM has been good winning her past couple and beat TOTALLY DISCREET on her merits last time.

RACE 4 - 1:17PM FibreTrack Handicap (1200 METRES)
HELLO LADIES went up double figure odds before that was halved quickly when markets opened. His form was good in better races before going to Mt Gambier to win two starts back and then finished off strong behind Rushaway Lad in the Sprint Series Final. He draws a nice gate, this track should suit and he’s the one to beat. SO SAY ANGEL looks a danger and she maps well from the barrier. Her latest when 2nd behind Agrimony was solid and she gets her chance. THREE TEARS is a good mare who has been beaten her past couple, but I Am Bene and Cashin’ Chex, but that form is solid. She draws to get a nice run. CASTLE OF KINGS was a Gawler winner before an OK effort behind Jaamint last time here and has claims from a wide gate. LUMBER PUNK was a big drifter before running 3rd behind Star Espresso on the Parks last week.

RACE 5 - 1:52PM Happy 70th Birthday Trevor Osborn Handicap (1400 METRES)
ZOULAH caught the eye first-up from a spell and did score second-up in his first campaign for the Clarken stable. She gets in well after the claim and I’m happy to be backing her at the each-way odds. JAAMINT made it three wins from her past four start beating Yanacocha on the Parks last week. Her previous here beating Sacred Armour was good and she draws to give this another shake. TUBBY TWO TRACKS was a good winner last time and can make her own luck from a good barrier here. LEFT HAND MAN likes this track and trip, his latest behind Jaguary was very good and he gets a 3kg claim. LAKE’S FOLLY ran well finishing 4th in the Jaguary race last time out and he must be respected despite being unplaced in both starts here on his home track. Stablemate SOLAR GALE trialled nicely before running 5th hen favourite in Alice Springs. LI’L HANK wasn’t beaten far here behind Reward With Return last time, STREET LIFE has never won beyond 1200m but has won better races.

RACE 6 - 2:27PM Bridges Event Centre Handicap (1000 METRES)
HANABI has a handy record and has been trialling well ahead of her return. She beat Philonize at Morphettville on the Parks back in September and should give this a big shake fresh. SIDEARM is hard to catch but will win a race like this one day. His form this time in has been good and was narrowly beaten when 3rd behind Reward With Return last time. STATE OF CLASS has been to SA before and won at Morphettville. He was a Moe winner two starts back and maps to get a good run here. OAKFIELD GERONIMO was very good behind Star Hills last time. KISHSTAR has a good record here and made good ground last time. SELF SUFFICENT has ability and resumes but does like to get back.

RACE 7 - 3:05PM Matthew Miles Handicap (2000 METRES)
Wide open race and reflected in the market which has them $8.50 the field. Staying with ICHIBANSAN who stalked a solid tempo when back to winning form on the Parks last time. He has plenty of weight and draws out but should appreciate the bigger track and can win again. KING OF PHARAOHS has been good his past couple. He had no luck two starts back behind Thrill Kill and then looked to have his chance behind Capricorn Ridge on the Parks last week. He should be in the mix. Plenty of Victorian interest. KWOI HOI comes here on the back of a Sale win but draws out, Lindsay Smith’s MYSTERY ISLAND draws a good gate and has been placed his past couple. ORLEANS ROCK was a Horsham in October and fitter for two runs back, HIGHLAND JACK a Ballarat winner in April. HOUSE SPOUSE was favourite at Sale last time and is lightly-raced and from the in-form Patrick Payne stable, RAPID RAISER should run well he finished off well behind Thrill Kill. MANZALA is fitter and blinkers go on, AUSSIE SOJOURN has been racing well.

AGRIMONY was very impressive first-up in SA winning on the Parks on the back of a great Todd Pannell ride. He looks a nice horse well placed again and the one to beat. MONTIGN is the danger. He’s a nice horse who progressed smartly through the grades last time winning his last three before a break. He is a winner fresh and can give this a shake at odds. PIMM’S PARTY made good ground behind Agrimony last time and she draws well here. MUNSTER has a good record here and was close-up behind Calypso Reign last time. Victorian SOUTH PARADE comes out of some handy Melbourne races and chased home Diamonds at Flemington last time.

RACE 9 - 4:22PM Magic Millions Handicap (1400 METRES)
Key scratchings have really left this race open. BIG SUE draws a middle gate and can race handy to the speed. She won at Penola before going to town and beating Ambidazzle. She looks to have some upside. NEXT DIMENSION was good at Morphettville first-up in SA and then got back last time on the Parks. HATEECH is going super chasing home Jaamint last time and draws the inside alley. SHORT STORIES could be ready to improve in a race like this. JEAN VALJEAN was very good two starts back.
