Racing SA is pleased to announce that Peter Ryan has been appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of Stewards. The role reports to Matt Santoro, who was recently promoted to Racing SA Chairman of Stewards from his role as Deputy following a departmental restructure.
Mr Ryan is highly experienced as a Senior Steward with over three decades of experience within the thoroughbred racing industry, and is currently a Regional Manager – Stewards with Racing Victoria, with responsibility for the northern region of Victoria.

Mr Ryan’s appointment follows several recent appointments from interstate, including Dr Toby Koenig as Chief Veterinarian and Dean Pettit as Jockey Coach.
