Harrison Ingram joins Apprentice Academy

Harrison Ingram is the newest member of the Racing SA Apprentice Academy.

Ingram, 17, is apprenticed to Morphettville trainer Travis Doudle, and will commence his riding career at the Murray Bridge trials on Friday.

From Victoria, Ingram worked for Archie Alexander before coming to SA with his  parents making the move to support his career in the saddle.

"It was a tough decision to make the move over from Victoria but I am really glad I've done it. To be accepted into the academy has made it all worth while," Ingram said.

"I am so thankful to Travis for giving me this opportunity, I've definitely grown as a rider since being with the stable. I can't wait to have my first ride in trials and working towards my first race ride."

“Harrison is a fast learner who has a great passion for the sport,’’ Racing SA Jockey Coach Dean Pettit

“He’s been a great acquisition for the Travis Doudle stable and Travis has been a big part in his development and will do so going forward.
