RACE 1 - 12:18PM Bridges Event Centre Handicap (1200 METRES)

VALIDATED has been luckless in two runs, the latest making ground from well back to be narrowly beaten by Our Shining Star at Morphettville. He draws a good gate and gets his chance in the small field. WHO’S CLANG had no luck when caught wide two starts back before showing plenty of fight to hold off Pontedera last time. He gets in well after the claim and should be fighting out the finish. Stablemate MIDNIGHT RUSH gets the blinkers for the first time and was a winner on debut before being beaten 2.8 lengths behind Hongbao last time. TAPINFORPAR was a winner over Tosen Water last time and gets an inside gate. LUCKY FORTUNA was an impressive Balaklava winner on debut back in October and hasn’t done a lot wrong.

RACE 2 - 12:52PM Vale Dr Andrew Mills 7/12/22 Handicap (1200 METRES)

MANHATTEN TIMES is a good horse who has been placed his past two at Listed level behind Diamonds. He gets a middle gate, the winkers for the first time and a 2kg claim. The small field suits, he’s a winner here and this looks his race to lose. SMOKIN’ VAL has been runner-up her past couple and is a capable mare who could be the flashing late. ONE MORE JACK was very good first-up from along break running 2nd behind Diamonds last time beating home Manhatten Times and he’s 3 from 5 second-up and a winner his only start here.

RACE 3 - 1:27PM Fred Vella Tyre & Crash Repairs Handicap (1600 METRES)

PUDDING has come back well and was a strong winner on the Parks last time. WESTERN SUN was 2nd in the race and meets him better at the weights after the claim. He’s going to be a threat again here. PENTIRE’S SPIRIT was a winner at his SA debut at big odds. THRILL KILL is racing well and draws a gate, gets the claim. MUG’S GAME is another racing well and must be respected.

RACE 4 - 2:02PM AM & ME Langford Plasterboard Maiden Plate (1400 METRES)

VALENTINA CHARM was placed at Strathalbyn on debut behind Jilladora before another good effort there when 2nd behind No Entitlement last tie. She draws out but should give this a shake. FORTIS IN ARMIS was placed at Gawler behind Sipsmith last time out. He draws out but looks a handy type well suited here on his home track. MY BOY JETT made good ground first-up from a spell when 4th in the same race and should run well here. CHEF MILITAIRE can run well from a good gate and was placed behind Zufasta three starts back.

RACE 5 - 2:42PM TAB Handicap (1400 METRES)

BLAZERRO has been good in both runs since coming to SA chasing home My Khalifa on both occasions. He gets the inside gate, the blinkers go off and he’s the horse to beat here. Richard and Chantelle Jolly have SASKATOON who defeated Picargo on the Parks two runs back and looks perfectly placed from a good gate. METRO LEGEND has been racing well and is knocking on the door in similar company. JACK THE LAD is a former Queenslander now with the Francis/Kent stable and he trialled up well for his local debut, he has placed at 3 of 4 first-up runs.

RACE 6 - 3:22PM SpryCrete Christmas Cup (2500 METRES)

SO BENE has a handy record, she doesn’t win out of turn but comes off a good run when 2nd behind Sebonna and draws a nice middle gate. She’s the one to beat after the scratchings of the two main chances. OATH OF OMERTA has won 2 of 4 here on his home track and must be respected. TOYETIC gets in here well. CLEVER MAN is suited here out in trip, RITRATTO has been solid his past couple and must be respected. SELECTIONS: 9 SO BENE, 6 Toyetic, 7 Oath Of Omerta, 1 Clever Man

RACE 7 - 4:02PM Northpoint Murraylands Handicap (900 METRES)

CHOSEN BLONDE defeated Calla Dream on the Parks five runs back and her past couple have been good at Moonee Valley over the short trip. She draws a nice gate, gets in very well with the 4kg claim and should take some running down. BAJAN BELLE will be nice and handy from a good barrier and was a Gawler winner two starts back before a good run behind The Magistrate. QEYAADY is a former Victorian who trialled OK recently and looks over the odds from a good gate. KASAMI is a winner her only start here and has a good fresh record, she should be in the mix from the good barrier. MANAGE THE CYCLE was a winner here two starts back and drops in class after chasing home Rodeo last time. OLD TIME ROCK has been racing well and must be respected. SECRET WAR gets in well with the claim and should be in the mix from a good barrier. MY RUBY had specking at odds and made ground behind Jean Valjean last time out that’s good form for a race like this.

RACE 8 - 4:42PM Mulch N More Handicap (1200 METRES)

TEST THE LAW made good ground first-up before he rode the speed and was too good for Smokin’ Val last time. He draws out but is a nice type who looks the one to beat again. CRACKHORN is a Victorian with a good record and won at Swan Hill and Echuca earlier in the year. He’s placed at 2 of 3 first-up draws a gate and gets Barend. PONTEDERA was a winner on the Parks two starts back before running 2nd behind Who’s Clang last time. He draws out but should be looks well placed here.

RACE 9 - 5:19PM Carlton Draught Handicap (1400 METRES)

EAST INDIAMAN has been freshened since winning two on end at the Parks, the latest behind Parisienne Monde, He draws a good barrier and should give this a shake. LACRIMA is a former Victorian who wasn’t far away behind Texan Windstorm last time and looks well placed in a race like this. STAR ESPRESSO looked good coming off the speed to run down rivals back I class at Bordertown last start and maps well from the good gate. COME ON EILEEN was placed at Wangaratta last start and was a Ballarat winner three starts back and maps well from the middle gate. LEBANESE TRADER is third-up here and wasn’t beaten far behind Star Espresso at Bordertown last time. STAR JAN is racing well and was too good at Mt Gambier last time. VERSETTO is knocking on the door.
