Voorham renews acquaintances with Manhatten Times

An in-form Teagan Voorham has been given the task of trying help highly talented sprinter Manhatten Times get back in the winner’s stall at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Voorham has been the nemesis of the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas-trained galloper at his past two starts - winning the Listed City of Marion Stakes and Christmas Handicap aboard Diamonds - but her two-kilogram claim looks to have the four-year-old perfectly placed as he searches for his first win in more than 300 days.

Voorham is enjoying the best run of her career having ridden 22 winners in November and December, just one shy of the 23 she’d ridden for the rest of 2022.

She comes off her first metropolitan treble at Gawler last weekend, which was followed with a double at Port Lincoln on Sunday, and is set for a big weekend with 16 rides across the three meetings over the Christmas period.
