Bain to saddle up first Melbourne runner

Dual code trainer Aaron Bain will saddle up his first Melbourne runner when Toyetic heads to Moonee Valley on Saturday.

Toyetic was Bain’s first metropolitan winner at Murray Bridge back in May and the Gawler-based horseman, who cut his teeth in harness racing, had his first Morphettville winner last weekend when Wonderwomen was successful.

Toyetic has been around the mark in five runs since this campaign and is coming off a placing on his home track behind Rebel Lee.

He heads to Melbourne with leading jockey John Allen booked to ride.
