RACE 1 - 12:17PM The Junction Handicap (1300 METRES)

DUNMAGHLAS won his maiden over 1200m at Strathalbyn before dropping in trip for a soft win here last time over 1050m. He jumps back up in trip and looks the one to beat from the inside draw. KUSHAN KHANIVALE was impressive last time on the quick back-up when he covered ground and was too strong for Cararada. He maps well from the gate. CLUB PUNTER was back to winning form last time beating PRESS DOWN who draws a nice gate. MONSEAGLE has been freshened since winning over a mile at Morphettville.

RACE 2 - 12:52PM TAB Adelaide Cup Day - Monday March 13th Handicap (2250 METRES)

ANOTHER FREE GLASS is bursting to win a race and comes off a solid effort behind Plaisir at Gawler. He gets the inside gate and Barend Vorster to give him every chance of finding winning form. MAID OF IRON comes to SA on the back of a Stoney Creek win. She draws a nice gate, gets a claim for Ben Price and looks the horse to beat. Fellow Victorian THAT’S INCRANIBULL was a Sandown winner two starts back at odds and must be respected from a good barrier. DIXIE WHISTLER led and stuck on strongly running 2nd behind Kyshaka last time. She draws out but will roll forward and take some beating here. BATTING ABOVE was solid behind Plaisir at Gawler last time and won his previous two back in class. GRINZINGER ALLEE ran OK last time and is on the improve.

RACE 3 - 1:27PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1000 METRES)

ACAPELLA MOON was with Price/Kent Jnr when he ran 5th in the Maribyrnong Trial at Flemington in October. He resumes here for Clayton Douglas, has the two jump-outs under his belt and gets the blinkers for the first time. HARLEEN was good behind stablemate Dubenenko here first-up from a spell but draws a wide gate. FIRST RANK resumes and was placed behind Harleen at Murray Bridge on debut back in October and gets blinkers for the first time. KRISTOBEL was good on debut behind Dubenenko and maps to get a gun run. Shane and Cassie Oxlade have three on debut, DODD and RUSCHEYNE both recent trial winners and have been backed in early betting.

RACE 4 - 2:02PM Thomas Farms Handicap (1400 METRES)

ROYAL MILE was good first-up from a spell when he made good ground behind Shamino in the Durbridge Stakes. He jumps from 1100m to 1400m which looks ideal, he draws the perfect barrier and this looks his chance to find winning form. SASKATOON was back to wining form last time this track and trip. He draws the inside and is going to take some beating again. SANDY PRINCE comes to SA third-up and ready to peak here. There was money for him last time when 8th behind Low In at Sandown and expect him to be in the finish. ONE MORE JACK has come back well this time around and his run behind Shamino in the Durbridge was solid.

RACE 5 - 2:42PM The Fotobase Group Handicap (1000 METRES)

SILVER ON RED was given a good run from the same gate when he powered over the top of Queman to find winning form. He has a good record and should take beating again. LARIMER STREET was back to winning form coming off the speed to run down Boss Lady Rocks at Murray Bridge last time and maps to get a gun run here. QUEMAN comes off a good run behind Silver On Red. He rolls forward and will make his own luck. PARSIFAL is capable on his day and gets into this OK after the claim.

RACE 6 - 3:22PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1250 METRES)

Good race. CHICAGO STORM was well backed when narrowly beaten first-up by Versetto. He draws a middle gate and looks hard to beat. BOOLCUNDA KING is the danger and looks over the odds. His form last time in was very good winning two on end before running 4th behind Chelimo when he got a mile back. He’s trialled well and draws a nice gate. TAHNEE TRADITION was good beating Shez Betty two runs back and then made good ground to finish close-up behind Lafargue here last time. She’ll get a gun run and should be in the finish. EYES NEVER LIE has a handy record and her first-up record is good. She hasn’t raced since running 4th behind Hankstar here in October. FOUR WINDS has been placed at 3 of 4 runs here and must be respected. TEXAN WINDTORM won four in succession last time in and has trialled up well for his return.

RACE 7 - 4:02PM Croser Handicap (1550 METRES)

CALIBURN was impressive first-up from a spell when he won easily at Strathalbyn despite drifting in betting. The extra trip suits but he draws a sticky gate. TRUMPSTA has a good record here and should strip fitter for a solid effort first-up when 9th behind Lafargue when he warmed up late. He gets in OK after the claim and should be in the mix. PORT ROYAL has jumped out well for his return and must be respected here. HONEY GO LIGHTLY was a Morphettville winner two starts back and maps to get a nice run. KUTAYHA was only fair first-up from a spell behind Caliburn but looks an improver from the good barrier. GETOUTTHEWAY draws a wide gate but has been racing well.

RACE 8 - 4:42PM Winning Edge Presentations Handicap (1000 METRES)

MR HAVE A CHAT comes off a nice effort behind stablemate Larimer Street when he led and was only grabbed late. He gets in OK after the claim for Sophie Logan and is going to take some running down here. ALL CLUBS has won three of her past four and led throughout to win at Bordertown last time. She draws a nice gate and looks well placed again. LITTLE RICH BOY was back to winning form on the quick back-up beating Magic Delta last time and must be given plenty of thought again. LADY WAIRUA was good winning at Murray Bridge last time out. She draws out and this is a rise in class but she has upside. MY RUBY was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back and can figure here.

RACE 9 - 5:20PM PFD Foods Handicap (1400 METRES)

TOAST THE DEEL flashed late to be narrowly beaten by Lord Morton at Strathalbyn last time. She draws a nice gate and should be right in the finish here. STORM HUNTER has won 2 of 5 and was good when 3rd behind Tanaawol at Gawler last time. He’s a horse with upside and the stable have a brilliant strike-rate. MISS KERMIE ran well first-up from a spell when 3rd behind Club Punter at Murray Bridge. She draws out but looks suited in a race like this. STARTS WITH HELLO was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back and comes off an OK effort behind Versetto. He gets his chance from an inside draw. RIALTOR gets in OK after the claim and was good running 2nd behind East Indiaman at Gawler two starts back which is good form for a race like this. RUBBLE comes off a Murray Bridge win beating Last Zerprise. IL DON CAVALLO has been racing well and finished 4th behind Versetto last start but draws the wide gate. VALENTIGRA ran well here back in December 2021 and can run well from a good gate first-up.
