RACE 1 - 12:30PM Grand Syndicates Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

SIXTEEN REASONS has been placed at 2 of 3 making good ground behind Limited Risk at Murray Bridge last time. She draws a nice gate and looks hard to beat here. FALAISE flashed home when beaten just a length at Morphettville on debut by Out Shining Star in December. He’s trialled up nicely here and looks well placed first-up. LUCILLE ROSE was a big drifter on debut before running well behind Party Princess here, that form has measured up in better races and she can run well. SANDHILL KNIGHT had good backing and stuck on OK at Edenhope running 4th last time and draws a nice gate here. AUNTIE JAKE’S BAR had four trials before being well beaten on debut but is in the leading stable and must be respected here.

RACE 2 - 1:05PM Happy 40th Haydn Reid Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

A host of unraced horses stepping out here. SKINDER is in the David Jolly stable an won a recent trial here but draws a sticky gate. LOTZA BUBBLES has the race experience and was narrowly beaten by Realtin at Bordertown. She draws a sticky gate but should run well. RULING GODDESS is in the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable and has trialled OK. ROLLING DUCK is trained locally by Greg Lesnikowski and Ryan Hannemann, won a recent trial here and draws an inside gate. BIG OL’RIG ran 2nd in a Strathalbyn trial behind Falaise and draws a middle gate. ICONIC JEWEL is with Dion Koch and was well beaten in a Morphettville trial.

RACE 3 - 1:40PM Ranvet –National Apprentice Race Series BM60 Hcp (Leg 7) (Apprentice Riders Only) (1350 METRES)

Grant Young has two key runners here BENZ BARON who was too good for Rubble two starts back before running down the track behind Silent Surrente at Murray Bridge. Stablemate LITTLE RICH BOY was a Murray Bridge winner in February and comes off a good effort beaten 3.5 len behind Bubble Over which is very good form for a race like this. RUBBLE was too good for Last Zerprise at Murray Bridge three starts back and was good behind Peacemaker here last time out. GARRIRE was a Murray Bridge back in June and has trialled well for his return. FAMILY ADDITION was a Naracoorte winner before running down the track on the Parks behind More Sugar. TAIPAN TOMMY wasn’t beaten far here last time and draws well.

RACE 4 - 2:15PM Daish Irrigation & Fodder Maiden Plate (1350 METRES)

MONEY OR THE BOX was $41 into $19 on debut at Gawler last year when 5th behind Imbibe. She draws a nice gate for her return and must be kept very safe. CALL ME AL won a trial on the Parks before a handy effort here behind My Maloo at Strathalbyn. He draws a middle gate and should be thereabouts. BIT OF A REBEL made ground here behind My Maloo on debut and should get a nice run from the inside gate. LADY NELSON wasn’t far away two runs back behind Lady De Lune at Balaklava and has trialled OK here since. She draws a gate and should give this a shake. MISS NIPPY hasn’t done a lot in two runs but expect some improvement up in trip. EVAJADE hasn’t done a lot in two Victorian runs and her two SA trials have only been OK. She draws a good gate and should be up to a race like this.

RACE 5 - 2:50PM Wistow on High Maiden Plate (1350 METRES)

FINGOLFIN was sent out favourite when 2nd behind My Maloo here. He draws out but looks well placed in a race like this. WINE BARRON is first-up for the Michael Hickmott stable and has trialled OK for his return. He was well beaten at Morphettville on debut should run well here. KEEP SWINGING was placed at Naracoorte two starts back before making good ground behind Realtin at Bordertown. GALLIUM Has been just behind the placegetters running 4th at her past couple, the latest behind Lady De Lune at Balaklava and she must be respected despite a wide draw.

RACE 6 - 3:25PM Elders Goolwa Class One Plate (2050 METRES)

MOJO CLASSIC is a former NSW galloper who had good backing and finished hard beaten 3 lengths behind stablemate Silent Surrente at Murray Bridge at his SA debut. He draws out but this is a winnable race. FLITTELL finished 4th behind Pearl Adios at Balaklava before going to Clare to win his maiden. He draws out but should be in the mix here. OUR SELECTION was a good winner here two starts back before an OK effort behind Last Girl Love at Murray Bridge. FINNEY has been runner-up his past couple the latest here behind Alpine Beau and must be respected. CARRY ON FLYING was OK behind Miss Kermie at Balaklava last time and draws a nice barrier.

RACE 7 - 4:00PM Apprentice Academy SA - National Apprentice Race Series BM58 Hcp (Leg 8) (Apprentice Riders Only) (1600 METRES)

IN THE DARKNESS has been in the money at both starts this track and trip. She made ground behind Silent Surrente at Murray Bridge last time and is up to winning a race like this if she gains a start. SWAMP VIXEN comes off a good run behind Billie Bronx on the Parks and that’s good form for a race like this. LORD OF DARKNESS comes off a Clare win beating Miss Elegance and has been placed at 2 of 4 starts here. He draws out but should be thereabouts. WARRANDYTE ROAD has a good record here on his home track and must be respected. APPLIED made good ground from the back behind Miss Kermie at Balaklava. He draws a nice gate and must be respected in a race like this. EQUAL BALANCE was placed at both days of the KI Carnival before running down the track at Bordertown last time. PERLUBIE BEACH was a winner here four starts back and draws a nice gate. I’M BULLETPROOF is an improver here on his home track. MONSEAGLE was a Morphettville winner three starts back and should be fitter for two runs back from a short break, the latest when well beaten at Murray Bridge behind Thirsty Guest.

RACE 8 - 4:35PM Built Water Systems Fillies & Mares Class Two Handicap (1200 METRES)

SMILING FROM ABOVE has won 2 of 6 and landed some good bets to win at Gawler last May. She was too good for Prince Jofra at Gawler before running 3rd behind Alpine Flyer and going for a break. She’ll take some beating here from the nice gate. NO ENTITLEMENT was a good winner here back in December and has trialled nicely for her return. She draws a sticky gate. PRETENTIOUS LASS ran well when 2nd behind River at Balaklava two runs back. She resumes and has trialled OK. MURIWAI wasn’t far away behind Roc The Wolf at Port Lincoln before winning her maiden at Lock and she draws a nice barrier. COEUR DE PARIS is a former Victorian first-up for David Jolly and was placed at Ballarat last May. FLASHY CZARINA won a Mt Gambier maiden on debut and wasn’t beaten far at Ararat last time out. BELLA SOO was a winner here last April. FREEDOM DAY is back from winning at Alice Springs and must be respected.

RACE 9 - 5:10PM HorseRecords Benchmark 56 Handicap (1200 METRES)

SAND CAT was a winner at KI three starts back and led when narrowly beaten by Choncape at Clare last time. She draws out but has a good record here on her home deck and can defy her age and barrier. MISSION SUPREME was a winner here two starts back before running down the track behind Thirsty Guest. He draws a nice gate and looks well placed here. WYNTER LADY has been racing well and was good when 2nd behind Leon’s Shout at Bordertown last time out but draws a sticky barrier. GENERAL MINT comes off a good effort running 2nd behind Alotofun here and must be respected. JIVE BABY looked to have every chance when 4th behind Run And Tell here last time and must be respected. GRAVITY was well backed 10th behind Choncape at Clare and can run well here.
