FIRST TOSEN is on debut for Peter Hardacre and won a Strathalbyn trial back in January before running 5th in the latest at Murray Bridge behind Velvet Star. He draws a nice gate and should run well. MYOCEAN WARRIOR ran well on debut beaten 2.6 lengths behind Imperial Seal which looks good form for a race like this. OH SHOW ran 3rd in that same race before he was well beaten behind Fancify at Murray Bridge last weekend. SIR LEAPALOT was runner-up behind Whatsanamegeorge in a Strathalbyn maiden back in December and stuck on OK first-up at Bordertown. DANTE ALEXANDER was OK behind Hooked On Wealth at Bordertown first-up.

SELECTIONS: 7 FIRST TOSEN, 4 Myocean Warrior, 5 Oh Show, 8 Sir Leapalot
PLAY: Keen on FIRST TOSEN who looks a nice type. He went up $8 and has been a big firmer.

RACE 2 - 1:20PM Wistow Bakery and Cafe Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)

ROULETTE QUEEN ran well when 4th behind Floral Oasis on debut at Balaklava and followed up running 3rd to Cullen Skink at Oakbank. Her latest 4th behind The Grey King at Strathalbyn was OK and she should be fighting out the finish. SUPER ALANA finished 3rd in The Grey King race here last time should be thereabouts. TAHNEE TREASURE resumes and was OK in her only race behind Foxy Femme at Gawler last November, her recent trial was OK.

SELECTIONS: 10 ROULETTE QUEEN, 11 Super Alana, 12 Tahnee Treasure, 7 Enchanting Eagle

RACE 3 - 1:55PM Goolwa Central Meats Maiden Plate (2050 METRES)

PARSONAGE LANE was placed at Port Augusta before a good run at Bordertown when he flashed home from well back running 2nd behind TobiwashI. He draws a middle gate and won’t get a better chance to break through. HUSSLING was placed at Balaklava twice before an OK run at Port Augusta last time and gets an inside gate. John Hickmott and Carrina Riggs have five of the 13 acceptors, WEEKEND WARRIOR draws the best and did run 4th at Murray Bridge back in March. BONJOUR BLUE can be in the mix in a race like this.

SELECTIONS: 8 PARSONAGE LANE, 11 Hussling, 7 Weekend Warrior, 1 Bonjour Blue
PLAY: Something on PARSONAGE LANE in a thin race.

RACE 4 - 2:30PM Mount Compass Sand Maiden Plate (1350 METRES)

ZAC’S BACK comes off a 2nd behind The Grey King here, he gets an inside gate and should be fighting out the finish. AFRICARN LAD made good ground behind Seven Secrets at Gawler first-up from a break and the jump to 1350m looks ideal. BYWATERS ROAD is a 15 start maiden who has been placed six times, the latest behind Prancing Countess at Gawler. The blinkers come off from a wide draw but this a suitable race. LINES OF GLORY was better behind Prancing Countess last time at Gawler and draws a good gate. EXALTED KATE has been knocking on the door and will win a race like this. SCORPION KING hasn’t done a lot in three starts but gets blinkers for the first time and could be the improver. COME AGAIN is a former Victorian who led when 2nd behind Smullen at Cranbourne last time out.

SELECTIONS: 9 ZAC’S BACK, 5 Africarn Lad, 1 Bywaters Road, 6 Lines Of Glory
PLAY: Backing ZAC’S BACK and something each-way AFRICARN LAD (2/3).

RACE 5 - 3:05PM Vale Trevor Whiltshire Benchmark 60 Handicap (1600 METRES)

SEA OF SECRETS was a winner this track and trip last time out beating Lord Of Darkness. He draws out but looks well placed here again. Stablemate SEPORIA is lightly raced and was a Gawler winner before running 5th behind Klabel on the Parks. She draws the inside gate. IMPOSING SUSPECT was close-up behind Lomax at Morphettville two starts back before going to Stawell and had backing before he was beaten 2.15 lengths behind Solbrook Star. He draws out but this is a suitable race. DINGABLEDINGA was a Gawler winner beating Carry The Musket. He was well beaten first-up but is two wins from three second-up runs and looks nicely placed and well drawn. FIGHT FOR FREEDOM has a good record here and is the one who grows a leg on a heavy track. His latest here was good making ground behind Sea Of Secrets. JUST JAZZ draws a nice gate and has been placed on a heavy track.

SELECTIONS: 2 SEA OF SECRETS, 1 Imposing Suspect, 6 Seporia, 3 Dingabledinga
PLAY: Small each-way plays on both SEPORIA and DINGABLEDINGA who are over the odds.

RACE 6 - 3:40PM Strath Small Engines Rating 0 - 58 Handicap (1350 METRES)

CONNEMARA QUEEN won her maiden at Port Augusta before being a big drifter before making good ground when 3rd behind Lakehurst at Gawler. She draws a nice gate and should be prominent. STREET HUSTLER was a winner here three starts back beating Pretentious Lass and then good again here last time when 2nd behind Fiamette. He should run well. BELLA SOO was a Naracoorte winner two starts back before being well beaten behind Bignota at Balaklava last time. THE MINIVAN is first-up for Grant Young and won a recent Murray Bridge trial. MEDAL QUEST had some specking at $51 when she defeated Tayla’s Moment here last time and must be respected from the inside gate.

SELECTIONS: 3 CONNEMARA QUEEN, 7 Street Hustler, 4 Bella Soo, 1 The Minivan
PLAY: Something on CONNEMARA QUEEN each-way.

RACE 7 - 4:15PM Middleton Tavern Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1200 METRES)

PIVOTAL FORCE has a good record here with four wins from his eight starts here and he was too good for Lord Morton three starts back, and again solid running 3rd behind Important Product last time. He draws out but looks hard to beat here. GRANDMA GAIL has been in the money at both runs here and was OK running 3rd behind Important Product last time. She draws a good gate and is up to winning a race like this. SAND CAT has a good record on soft going and is a six-time winner here. HATEECH was a Balaklava winner four starts back and made ground behind Another Ponzi there last week. DON’T DISMISS has a good record here and draws a nice gate. RIVER was specked at odds and OK when 5th behind Saville at Balaklava last week.
