FINAL FIELDS

RACE 1 - 11:32AM Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Racing Rewards SA Qualified Only Two-Year-Old Plate (1200 METRES)

DUBENENKO is a nice filly who flashed home and was luckless in the Blue Diamond Stakes before being bought down at her next outing at Flemington in the VRC Sires’. She has won her two trials back and should get her chance from the middle gate. WALK LIKE AN ANGEL is a nice filly who was heavily backed on debut before winning on the Parks last time. She gets the blinkers for the first time here, has the race fitness edge, is a big danger and no surprise to see early market support. BOLTED IN has won two of four and chased home the smart Steparty at Flemington last time. He draws out but must be respected. PROVEN CORRECT was well tried and only got warm last at Gawler last time but the jump from 1100m to 1200m looks ideal. LAPILLI draws the inside and VOLTAGE POINT will appreciate the extra ground.

SELECTIONS: 4 DUBENENKO, 5 Walk Like An Angel, 1 Bolted In, 2 Proven Correct
PLAY: Watching on.

RACE 2 - 12:07PM Carlton Draught Murray Bridge Gold Cup - Book Now Handicap (2500 METRES)

KEEVS looks a promising stayer winning his Cranbourne maiden before defying a big drift in betting to score at Murray Bridge when he sat just off the speed and was too good for WOLF PRINCE who looked to have his chance last time. Inside gate the only negative. CAMPOBASSO has won three of his past five and six of his 17 wins have come on heavy ground. This is a step up, but he will make his own luck and be thereabouts. DIXIE WHISTLER doesn’t run bad races and should be again right in the mix with the claim. HOSTESS SUSIE was runner-up behind him two starts back before running 3rd behind Rebel Consortium at Gawler and can run well. BRAWL is another who can measure-up here.

SELECTIONS: 4 KEEVS, 8 Campobasso, 1 Dixie Whistler, 9 Hostess Susie
PLAY: Keen on KEEVS again.

RACE 3 - 12:42PM Bridges Event Centre Handicap (1200 METRES)

SO SAY ANGEL trialled at Morphettville on Monday. She’s two from four here at Murray Bridge and is going to take some running down from the inside gate. Ben and JD Hayes bring LIBERTY STEPS here to SA who was 2nd at Sale two runs back, then beaten 3.55 lengths at Sandown. They are striking at 50 per cent here in SA and have Todd Pannell doing the steering. AIGUILETTE should have beaten Manhatten Times three runs back and was OK behind Metro Legend last time. SAVILLE has been good winning his past two back in class and can handle the step up in class. OCEANOGRAPHY is first-up in SA for David Jolly and has a handy record. His trials have been OK, but he is much better second-up where he’s been in the money at all three runs. TRADING POST comes to SA on the back of Pakenham win and Jason Holder takes the ride.

SELECTIONS: 3 SO SAY ANGEL, 9 Liberty Steps, 2 Aiguilette, 8 Saville
PLAY: Backing each-way SO SAY ANGEL on her trial.

RACE 4 - 1:17PM Happy 6oth Birthday Steve O'Shea Handicap (1400 METRES)

PONTEDERA was runner-up behind Sandy Prince at Warrnambool two starts back and then made ground to be beaten under two lengths behind Picargo last time here. He maps well from the good gate and has each-way appeal. TAHNEE TRADITION is flying having returned to form winning her past couple on the Parks. She draws out but should be in the mix again. TURF DECISION jumps in trip after he worked home late behind Pegasi last time here and has won four of eight. Should run well. OH MO have never won in 11 starts here on his home track but has finished 3rd his past three the latest behind Pudding here and must be respected. PRINCE OF HELENA is a winner at his only start here and drops in trip after chasing home Not Usual Glorious in the Swan Hill Cup last time out. DR DEE DEE was well beaten behind Jacks On Ice last time out but is capable of improving here.

SELECTIONS: 8 PONTEDERA, 4 Tahnee Tradition, 6 Turf Decision, 2 Oh Mo
PLAY: Something on PONTEDERA each-way.

RACE 5 - 1:57PM Bremerton Wines Handicap (1000 METRES)

KARACASU is a nice horse with a good fresh record and the last time he came to Murray Bridge he bolted in by 4.5 lengths beating Queman before going to Flemington and being place behind Passive Aggressive. He hasn’t raced since he was beaten three lengths behind Picargo at Gawler last December but looks perfectly placed. THE GOV is flying winning two of her past three starts, the latest beating THE MAGISTRATE, who has been runner-up his past three. RODEO was 3rd in The Gov race here last time and must be respected. PEGASI was good first-up in SA for Travis Doudle beating Evening Bride and he must be respected here. OCEAN REWARD has good heavy track form and comes off a solid effort when 2nd behind Picargo. NGHT OF DELIGHT was only fair first-up but can run well here. AADELAD has trialled well and goes well fresh, likewise EXTRA TIME can run a race first-up.

SELECTIONS: 4 KARACASU, 6 The Gov, 5 Pegasi, 2 Ocean Reward
PLAY: Something on KARACASU each-way.

RACE 6 - 2:37PM Dutton’s Easy To Do Business with!! Handicap (1000 METRES)

MIDNIGHT RUSH looks nicely placed here second-up. He stuck on well behind Bristler first-up from a spell, strips fitter and draws OK. Stablemate LADY SIMONE was good last time behind Starsongari and draws a middle gate. ZARACE won nicely first-up beating The Gov and maps to get another nice run from a middle gate and gets in well after the claim. MY RUBY was good beating all but Starspangled Saga at Murray Bridge last time and must be respected here. SEA WITNESS was 4th in the same race, draws a nice gate and gets Jason Holder. WHENTHEDEELINGSDUN won consecutive races at Strathalbyn before starting favourite and running 7th behind Kenyan Wonder up in class. ORACLE SON can run well here. He defeated Dunmaghlas at Morphettville back in December and was sent out fav first-up from a spell when 4th behind IMMEDIATE RESPONSE at Balaklava. The blinkers go on for the first time. FOURTH POWER has trialled OK.

SELECTIONS: 8 MIDNIGHT RUSH, 3 Zarace, 14 My Ruby, 13 Whenthedeelingsdun
PLAY: Something on MIDNIGHT RUSH and ZARACE at the price.

RACE 7 - 3:12PM Magic Millions Handicap (1600 METRES)

MARACOURT is a nice horse who was good without a lot of luck in straight when 3rd behind Rialtor on the Parks. He was good winning first-up from a spell at Casterton, getting to the mile EXALTED FIRE has a been in the top three at nine of 12 starts since joining Michael Hickmott and was good first-up from a spell running 2nd behind Annihilate here. FEUERMOND is a watch here with the blinkers going on for the first time from a nice gate. He was a Terang winner over the mile back in March and well up to a race like this on his best. HEADSMART is chasing his fourth win on end after winning at Seymour and then his past two at Moe. He draws out but likes the give in the ground. SANTELMO FUEGO can run well and MALINONG CLUB has been knocking on the door.

SELECTIONS: 3 MARACOURT, 1 Exalted Fire, 2 Feueromond, 5 Headsmart
PLAY: Backing MARACOURT each-way.

RACE 8 - 3:52PM Golden Grove Tavern Racing Rewards SA Qualified Only Three-Year-Old Plate (1200 METRES)

Very good race. SGHIRRIPA has missed a placed just once in her eight starts and was too good for Storyteller at Morphettville in May before running 4th behind Legio Ten at Flemington last time. He draws out but makes his own luck and should take some beating. FALAISE could be the danger. He has won two of four starts and was too good for Texan Windstorm on the Parks last time out. He’s been freshened, the middle gate suits and he has upside. The $21 is overs. Richard and Chantelle Jolly have four runners - KLABEL is unbeaten in two runs here and comes off a 2nd behind stablemate NOBLE MAGNATE on the Parks. POMPEII EMPIRE finished 3rd in the same race and gets a favourable barrier. OUR SHINING STAR has Bristler form must be respected. VALIDATED is a good horse who won consecutive races before going to the paddock when he struggled around Oakbank running 7th behind Fiorada Lad. He draws out but must be respected. BALLON D’OR is still looking for clear air after being badly held-up last week at Morphettville. The drop in distance is against. WALLY WEST is one who might be able to run a race at big price up in class and from an outside barrier.

SELECTIONS: 4 SGHIRRIPA, 5 Falaise, 11 Ballon D’Or, 9 Wally West
PLAY: Backing FALAISE each-way at $21 and something on WALLY WEST at $51.

RACE 9 - 4:30PM Spry Civil Construction Handicap (1400 METRES)

Looks a tough end to the card. MCCAIN is bursting to win a race running 2nd at Gawler and Bordertown before a good run when 3rd behind Pegasi here. He’ll give this a shake if he gains a start. ANNIHILATE is chasing three wins on the bounce after stepping up from a Bordertown win here to defeat Exalted Fire last time. SIX FOOT SONG has a handy record and was placed behind Solar Blast here two back before making ground running 5th behind Rialtor on the Parks. He has a handy record here and a middle gate with the claim. LOMAX was a good Morphettville winner four starts back and was in the market and worked home late beaten 4 lengths behind Silent Don up in trip. FOUR WINDS can run well here on his home track. CANIDAE won at Bordertown before a good effort running 2nd at Swan Hill. IMPORTANT PRODUCT has been racing well chasing home Saville last time. CONEGLIANO came off the speed to win here at big odds last time and gets a good barrier.

SELECTIONS: 18 MCCAIN, 1 Annihilate, 3 Six Foot Song, 4 Lomax
PLAY: Going wide in this leg of the quaddie.
