RACE 1 - 12:17PM Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville - (Oct. 14th - Nov 11th) Handicap (1200 METRES)

AIR ASSAULT is a promising horse resuming here from his win in the G3 Sires’ Produce on the Parks in May. He gets the 3kg claim for a red hot Kelsey Hannan, draws a good gate and the 1200m is going to make him a huge factor late. ESECUTORE is the fit horse coming off a Murray Bridge win beating Grint and Ladymeansbusiness. He’ll roll forward and should take some running down. BURNING BRIGHT made ground form the back in the same race and will enjoy getting out in trip. SOLESUN is a watch a son of The Autumn Sun out of former good local mare Cavaloce trained by the Clarken/O’Shea stable and he trialled up nicely at Cranbourne recently. HUGGLE TIME was a Murray Bridge winner on debut when heavily backed. This is harder but he must be respected. INTO THE LIGHT was good running 2nd behind Braveman’sgame on the Parks and should run well.

SELECTIONS: 1 AIR ASSAULT, 2 Esecutore, 4 Solesun, 6 Burning Bright
PLAY: Backing AIR ASSAULT.

RACE 2 - 12:52PM SkyCity Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

BULLS ON PARADE has trialled up well for his debut and has been a multiple recent acceptor but has been saved for this. He draws a middle barrier and should take some beating. EPISODIC is a former NSW galloper on debut for the Clarken/O’Shea stable. She was placed at Warwick Farm last time out and that’s good form for a maiden here. FREE VINO hasn’t done a lot wrong having placed at three of five starts. ASTROMANCER showed ability last time in and gets an inside gate plus the 3kg claim. LIPS DON’T LIE was sent out favourite when 2nd behind Crown Moshe at Balaklava and gets the blinkers again. SOUTHERN SHOOTER is on debut for the Travis Doudle stable.

SELECTIONS: 1 BULLS ON PARADE, 7 Episodic, 2 Free Vino, 5 Astromancer
PLAY: Watch on.

RACE 3 - 1:27PM PFD Food Services Handicap (1600 METRES)

HE’S OUR BONNEVAL doesn’t run too many bad races placed at Rosehill two starts back behind Kalino before another solid effort when he finished off strongly running 4th behind Amendable at Caulfield. He draws a middle gate and looks hard to beat in a race like this. EXALTED FIRE is impossible to knock having won three of his past four, the latest beating Metro Legend on the Parks. He gets a good gate and the 3kg claim and should be right there in the finish. HOPON HARRY should appreciate getting out in trip after chasing home See You In Heaven in the Behemoth Stakes last time. He maps to get a nice run and should be prominent late. REGAL AZMON was firm in the market in the Exalted Fire race last time and made good ground off a slow speed when beaten 1.2 lengths. He must be respected. CHIEF ALTONY had been racing well running 2nd behind Pudding at Murray Bridge in June and Flash Flood at Caulfield. He was well beaten last time when he suffered cardiac arrhythmia but can improve.

SELECTIONS: 2 HE’S OUR BONNNEVAL, 4 Exalted Fire, 3 Hopon Harry, 5 Regal Azmon
PLAY: Keen on HE’S OUT BONNEVAL.

RACE 4 - 2:02PM The Fotobase Group Handicap (1800 METRES)

He jumps sharply in weight even after the claim but looks hard to beat again. EXALTED RUTH comes back in trip after making good ground behind Orbital Express here over the 2009m trip. She maps well from the barrier and did beat Silent Don here three starts back. DEEL BLASTER finished off hard from back in the field behind I’m Kenny here last time and the 1800m suits. EUREKA’S VICTORY brings some solid Darwin form to SA.

SELECTIONS: 1 SILENT DON, 2 Exalted Ruth, 4 Deel Blaster, 3 Eureka’s Victory
PLAY: Sticking with SILENT SON.

RACE 5 - 2:37PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1200 METRES)

She maps to get a nice run and is going to be in the finish here. MISO is lightly-race having won three of six starts the latest at Sandown before when he led as a $1.70 fav before he was caught deep and weakened late behind Show Over there last time. He can roll forward from a nice barrier and take some running down. DOTHRAKI ran 6th behind Outlaw’s Revenge in the Wangoom at Warrnambool back in May and then OK behind Yulong Storm in the Golden Topaz at Swan Hill. He just missed behind Karacasu here last time out and gets in well with the claim from a good barrier. EASY BEAST has a good record around here and has been on the heels of the placegetters his past couple.

RACE 6 - 3:17PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1050 METRES)

SEMILLION is a big watch here first-up since leading when 9th behind Benedetta in the Inglis Sprint at Flemington in March. He finished 5th behind Rothfire in the G2 McEwen Stakes at Moonee Valley in the spring and then 5th behind Economics in the Listed Heritage at Rosehill. That form is right up to winning here over the 1050m. SWEETENED looks the danger. She was good first-up in SA when 2nd behind La Danseuse Rouge in the Listed Lightning Stakes before she finished over the top of Merchant Boss last time here. She maps well and will be strong late. RICH GINA was OK first-up beaten 3.9 lengths behind Home Rule. He second-up record in sound and she draws a nice barrier. KEEP READING comes off a good effort when 3rd behind Home Rule. STORM VOYAGER doesn’t win out of turn but can run into the multiples.

He made ground beaten 3.2 lengths behind Home Rule last time and gets a 3kg claim for Kelsey Hannan. SAVILLE was hard in the market when narrowly beaten by Suzido here last time. He maps to get a good run and won’t be far away. MIDNIGHT RUSH was back to winning form at Gawler beating Lucky Blue. He draws a nice gate and is going to be in this for a long way. ZARACE draws out but has been racing well and was OK behind Home Rule on the Parks last time. KONG has been placed at his past couple the latest behind Jilladora which is good form for this. OUTPOST has changed hands after a good first-up run when he turned with a nice lead before he was reeled in late by Jacks On Ice.

SET TO PROPHET is a former Victorian who was slow into stride from an inside gate, was held-up and squeezed through late when beaten 1.2 lengths in 4th behind Angaston here last week. He draws a nice barrier again and the big track should suit. KAYSERI got through late to run 3rd in the same race, he draws out but can run well. MOUNTAIN RANGE is lightly raced and beat all but Boolcunda King on the Parks back in November before resuming and didn’t have a lot go right when beaten 3.8 lengths behind Jack The Lad. RACE 9 - 5:10PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1200 METRES)

JILLADORA is lightly raced and had no luck first-up when she got back at Gawler behind Willaston and followed up with a smart win over Sixteen Reasons here last start. She draws out but has a lot of upside and is the horse to beat. ARUGAMAMA resumes since running down the track in the Oaks. She was a winner at 1100m here in February and can run cheeky race fresh from a good barrier. STREET DELIGHT was well fancied first-up in SA when 4th behind Suzido and can figure despite a wide gate.
