RACE 1 - 1:35PM Trimboli Services 'Road to the Jericho' Benchmark 75 Handicap (Heat of Jericho Cup) (3340 METRES)

BEAR ARMS was a Warrnambool winner here over 3163m on heavy ground three runs back and her past couple have been OK. She draws well but his best form has always been on rain affected tracks. CANFORD is a winner over 2600m and has been in the money at two of three runs here. Victorian THISTLER was a good Moonee Valley winner over the 3000m two runs back at big odds before failing with a big weight last time. He can run well from a good barrier. WARRANDYTE ROAD was in the market when placed at Strathalbyn behind Mystic Knot two runs back and then OK behind Lights Of Broadway at Morphettville last time.

RACE 2 - 2:10PM Ray White Barossa Valley Two Wells Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

EVEN SHARPER resumes here and has raced since he was specked at big odds when 7th behind Heuristic in the David Coles back in May. He draws out but must be respected. LORD VALEN comes off an OK effort when placed behind the talented Deepfloat Diva at Murray Bridge on debut. He draws a nice gate and looks hard to beat here. Stablemate ASTAIRES comes off a solid effort running 4th behind Fun Forever at Murray Bridge and draws a nice gate to be prominent. The third of the Jon O’Connor runners SIR PANAMA has been OK in three runs back and draws a nice barrier. SOCIAL DANCER has shown promise running 2nd here on debut and was spelled after she was well tried and led running 5th behind Katim’s Club at Gawler. RUSCHEYNE has been runner-up his past two behind Fun Forever at Murray Bridge and Hollandaise on the Parks. He draws a sticky gate but looks well placed. ME NAME’S HARRY has the two trials under his belt and finished 2nd in the latest behind Longer Route at Murray Bridge.

RACE 3 - 2:45PM Barossa Distilling Co Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

GEEIJO was OK when 4th behind Wiggum at Murray Bridge and should be in the mix here. NASHO resumed with a good run when 2nd behind Kinetic Jewel on the Parks. He draws an inside gate and should give them something to chase on speed. SHADOWFAX was runner-up behind Free Beer at Morphettville on debut before he was OK behind Minutlee here back in July. OUR DIVINYL was OK when 3rd behind Hollandaise on the Parks last time and should be in the mix from a middle gate.

RACE 4 - 3:20PM Kingsford Hotel Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

LA DEFENCE resumes here and was good on debut when he made late ground running 2nd behind the talented Wakanjeja. He draws wide but should give a race like this a shake. AMBELLO has been placed at seven of 14 starts, the latest at Balaklava behind Splish Splash. He draws a middle gate and is going to win a maiden at some point. FIRST TOSEN was sent out favourite at Strathalbyn on debut when 3rd behind Sir Leapalot back in May. He gets an inside gate and should give a race like this a shake.. BEACH STREET was runner-up at Balaklava two runs back and resumed with an OK effort behind Aviatress at Murray Bridge. WANNASCHMACK won a recent Murray Bridge trial and draws a good barrier. CARARADA gets the blinkers again and has placed at her past couple, the latest behind Aztec Dancer at Morphettville.

RACE 5 - 4:00PM Matrix Solar Solutions Maiden Plate (1500 METRES)

BURNING BRIGHT has been placed at two of five starts, the latest behind Dare To Be Free at Strathalbyn. She draws out but looks nicely suited in a race like this. STOKEDOWN was placed behind Fun Forever at Murray Bridge before another OK effort behind Losesomewinmore. The blinkers go off and he gets winkers again. SLIM JIM went to Jamestown for his debut and was beaten 5.1 lengths behind Zilx. CHEF MILITAIRE has been knocking on the door and placed at both runs here. He chased home Losesomewinmore last time at Morphettville which is good form for this. ELECTRA BLUE had specking at odds and was OK behind Dare To Be Free at Strathalbyn. MAIDEN FLIGHT debuted in the same race and was OK, she draws a nice barrier and could be the improver. CALL ME AL has been around the mark.

RACE 6 - 4:40PM Irongate Australia Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1700 METRES)

DAZZLING PROSPECT has been placed at six consecutive starts before he was beaten 3.8 lengths behind Superior Sam at Morphettville last week. He draws out and should be in the mix again.
ENLIST was big odds when beaten 3.1 lengths behind Fleurieu Flipper at Balaklava last time. LORD GEORGE ran well first-up for a new stable when 1.5 lengths behind Street Delight at Morphettville. He is a winner here. RUE BUNGAN was a good Murray Bridge winner at odds two starts back before being beaten 6.2 lengths behind Superior Sam and can improve here. BLOOD SWEAT TEARS can run well.

RACE 7 - 5:20PM Adelaide Plains Bloodstock Evanston Sprint Benchmark 64 Handicap (Heat of TAB Riziz Series) (1100 METRES)

SECRET WAR looks set for this race having won five of nine starts here on his home track. He was OK first-up when beaten 2.2 lengths behind Grand Host and should take some running down. KING MOYA who was well backed when 2nd on the Parks two runs back. DELCREDERE was heavily backed and won like a nice horse at Mt Gambier. The wide draw is the worry but he looks a horse with upside. ZUFASTA was OK behind Wakanjeja on the Parks two runs back. VALROC is another who draws to be handy to the speed and was back to winning form at Strathalbyn last time. WILLYBEFACTOR is a former Wagga galloper who has a handy record and could run a cheeky race. EXALTED TRAIL is the watch first-up for three years and eight months. He has a couple of trials under his belt and did run 4th I the Xmas Handicap behind Ef Troop back in 2019.

RACE 8 - 5:59PM 2023 Holdfast Insurance Brokers Gawler Cup (Heat of TAB Happy Trails Series) (1500 METRES)

THIRSTY GUEST is a progressive horse who made it two consecutive wins coming off the speed to win by 3.3 lengths. He draws a perfect gate and should take some beating. CHICAGO STORM has been good and was only beaten 2.2 lengths behind Jack The Lad in the Murray Bridge Cup after getting a long way back. He draws a nice gate. MONTIGN has been in solid form and made good ground again in the Murray Bridge Cup last time. He draws out and should be hitting the line hard despite a sticky gate. Likewise ADELAIDE ACE was good in the MB Cup and was again solid when 2nd behind Pudding at Morphettville last week. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS will be in the thick of the action second up.

RACE 9 - 6:29PM Coopers Brewery Fillies & Mares Rating 0 - 64 Handicap (Heat of TAB Viddora Series) (1200 METRES)

Wide open race to finish the day. BILLIE BRONX resumes here and has won two of four starts. She hasn’t raced since chasing home the likes of As Time Goes By and Caste during the carnival and looks well placed here. ALOTAFUN has been knocking on the door and was OK beaten 1.6 lengths in 4th behind Picky and draws an inside barrier. COMMANDO MISS won a Port Lincoln maiden back in March and comes off an OK return when 2nd behind Rock Hard at Strathalbyn. She draws a nice gate and looks well placed here. JILLADORA was a good winner four runs back in city grade beating Sixteen Reasons and has been OK in three runs since, the latest when beaten 4.8 lengths behind Big Option. She draws out but will be in the mix. BELLALIQUE was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back before an OK effort beaten 2.3 lengths behind Picky in city grade. Stablemate CHEROKEE MISS comes of an OK effort when 2nd behind Lake Agawam and must be respected. CHILO LAKE is a former NSW mare first-up for the Bain/Taylor stable and was OK running 4th in a recent trial behind Sghirripa.
SUGGESTIVE MISS was OK running 2nd behind Aztec Dancer at Murray Bridge last time.
