BATTLE ROYALE has won two of his past three and had support at nice odds before leading throughout to beat Vee Rod last time. MONTJEUIFY has won two of his past three in Victoria, the latest at Geelong at good odds. He maps to get a nice run here and must be given plenty on thought. POOL PONY found winning form at Murray Bridge beating Bamyan Buddha who has won since. He should get a good run from the inside gate and be right there again. MAVETTE has been racing well back in class. CROWN HARMONIUM is a former local who has been placed at three of his seven starts here.

RACE 2 - 1:02PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1800 METRES)

RUSSIAN DANCER was placed at Moonee Valley three starts back before another good run there when 4th beaten 2.25 lengths behind Cadmus. His latest at Caulfield was fair, he draws the inside gate and should give this a shake. THRILL KILL was good running 4th behind Magnetic Edge on the Parks before another good run when 2nd behind Apache Star at Gawler. He draws a nice barrier and looks the danger. BADONKIDONK is chasing three wins in succession beating Dual Fuel at Murray Bridge before winning the Bordertown Cup last time beating Brungle Raider. TEST THE LAW has been placed at his past four, two back at Moonee Valley before another solid effort in the Apache Star race at Gawler last time. He looks suited down in the weights. CROWN MINT won consecutive races on the Parks and here before running 4th behind Aitch D’Amico at Murray Bridge last time.

RACE 3 - 1:37PM AIG Security Handicap (1200 METRES)

WAKANJEJA won three in succession including the Riziz Final before she was OK in the testing conditions when 4th beaten 3.5 lengths behind Struck By in the Xmas Hcp last time out. She draws a perfect gate, is well weighted and looks the horse to beat. PRESS DOWN was back to winning form at Gawler last time when too good for JACKS ON ICE who meets him 2kg better at the weights and has never been out of the top two second-up. GRINZINGER PRINCE didn’t handle the heavy going in the Xmas Hcp last time out and his previous form since coming to SA had been super. He can bounce back. EXALTED DAME has been racing in good form and was a Gawler winner beating She’s Greysful last time. VAN ROY brings some OK Victorian form but draws a sticky gate.

RACE 4 - 2:12PM Thomas Farms Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

NOSIE BY NATURE is on debut for Craig Curtis and won a recent Balaklava trial impressively. He was $9 into $4.60 when markets opened and that’s a very solid push. PRESS EXPRESS is a watch, a full sister to Press Down on debut for Peter Hardacre drawn perfectly in barrier four and she looked good winning a recent Murray Bridge jump out. LUNESSA is on debut for the Stokes stable and also looked handy in a Morphettville jump out earlier this month. Of the raced brigade NEVER SURRENDER has been runner-up at his past three, the latest behind Bene Magic and he gets the blinkers for the first time. ZANTHRON has been around the mark placed at three runs before a break and was OK first-up beaten 2.1 lengths behind Brave Action on the Parks. REEL WHISKEY has been around the mark in all three runs and finished 4th behind Coco Sun in the Listed Oaklands Plate on the Parks back in July before a break. He draws the inside and gets the claim. SIOUX WARRIOR has ability and was solid first-up when 5th beaten 1.3 lengths behind Lapilli at Gawler. IDRACOWRA was placed at Balaklava on debut and has won a recent jump out. BLANC VISAGE is on debut for the Blanch stable and was 4th in the same trial. ASTRODEAN and ESTICON are with Ryan Balfour.

RACE 5 - 2:47PM Petaluma Handicap (1600 METRES)

SYCAMORE won an Avoca maiden in March and has been placed in both runs back from a break at Seymour and Geelong. She draws a nice gate and looks perfectly placed here. STADIUM OF LIGHT has been around the mark and was 3rd behind Cullen Skink here on Boxing Day. She draws well and must be respected. MORTGAGE MAN draws the inside and was placed behind Battle Royale last time. ALAINGE was a good Oakbank maiden winner last week and has been a firmer since markets opened. KARAKA KIWI comes off a Murray Bridge win beating Cararada but draws a wide gate. FIRST TOSEN was a Strathalbyn winner two runs back before running 4th behind Battle Royale here. He draws a sticky barrier but should run well. LAVA LAD won a Clare maiden before another good effort when 2nd behind Starlite Rebel at Strathalbyn. MYSTERY DEEL is a former Victorian first-up for Peter Nolan and won a Hamilton maiden last time out.

WIN O’CLOCK was a Hamilton Cup winner over 2200m three starts back and then well beaten in the Bendigo Cup before being beaten 6.65 lengths behind Regal Power at Caulfield last time. This a big drop in class. SOUS LES NUAGES was a Mortlake winner three starts back and OK last time beaten 3.5 lengths behind Glantaneous at Sandown, the winner has done so again since and he gets then inside barrier. YURI ROYALE has been racing well chasing home Arugamama at his past couple, he should be in the mix. MANZALA has won two of his past four and was good again here on Tuesday when 2nd behind Call Me Vexatious. He maps well and must be respected.

RACE 7 - 4:02PM Adelaide Cup Day 11.3.2024 Handicap (1050 METRES)

SHOOTING FOR STARS made good ground first-up behind My Ruby on the Parks and was again finishing off strongly behind Just Like Lisa at Gawler. She draws well and should give this a shake.
ZEBELLA had solid market support and looked to have the race in her keeping before she was worried out in a tight finish when 2nd behind Roxy Blue first-up. She draws well and should be thereabouts again. HUNTLEY LADY has come back well and was too good first-up beating Wolf City at Murray Bridge before another good effort when she made good ground in 4th beaten 1.7 lengths behind Vintage Star on the Parks. The bigger track suits and she should go well. COOL THE JETS was back to winning form beating Prancing Countess here last time. He draws a middle gate and should be somewhere in the finish again. WINNING REVOLUTION was good when 2nd behind My Ruby at Murray Bridge last time. He draws a nice barrier and gets winkers for the first time. ROYAL TYKE was good running 3rd at Moonee Valley last time out. RED WRAITH is a former local who has won four of his past six at Alice Springs.

RACE 8 - 4:42PM PFD Food Services Handicap (1800 METRES)

HUMBOLDT has been good in all three since coming to SA and he battled on OK in testing conditions when 2nd behind Headphones here last time on a heavy track. He draws out but looks well placed. DUAL FUEL doesn’t have a great winning strike-rate, but she has been placed her past couple the latest when 2nd behind Badonkidonk at Murray Bridge. She gets the inside gate and is weighted to be a big threat here. REBEL CONSORTIUM had solid market support when runner-up behind Missile Star at Gawler last time. She draws out but should be in the mix again here. DAZZLING PROSPECT was a good Clare Cup winner two runs back and had strong market support when beaten 2.9 lengths behind Apache Star at Gawler last time. VEE ROD was a Balaklava winner three starts back and comes off an OK effort when 3.3 lengths behind Bamyan Buddha. TULLAGHAN has been placed at his past four, the latest behind Alpine Beau at Oakbank last week. SANDASTON was a winner here at odds beating CHARM SLINGA last time out.

RACE 9 - 5:30PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1200 METRES)

MIGHTY SAPPHIRE was a good winner at his SA debut beating Proven Correct here. He draws out but has upside. HUMMING won a Moe maiden and has been placed his past two the latest at Werribee. MR HAVE A CHAT will roll forward and stuck on well behind My Ruby on the Parks last time. NOBLE MAGNATE could be an improver from a good barrier. KNIGHTSTOWN was beaten 4.4 lengths in the same race. PEARL ADIOS resumes and won consecutive races in March and April and draws a middle gate. FORSTER STREET is mixing form.
