RACE 1 - 11:32AM Sportsbet Handicap (1600 METRES)

MARACOURT has been sent out favourite at his past three, and runner up his past couple beaten narrowly by Outta Compton at Murray Bridge before he wasn’t beaten far behind Brave Star on the Parks last time. He draws out, is back up to the mile and sure to take some beating here. SLANE has been in the money at nine of 12 runs and comes off a Pakenham win beating Little Jack. He draws out but should be in the mix. SOARING EAGLE has been in the money at 29 of her 70 starts and has been placed here previously. She won the Tatura Cup back in November and was a $2.40 favourite at Camperdown two runs back before she was beaten 6 lengths by Fancify at Flemington last time. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS has plenty of weight even after the claim and his best will come when he finds a heavy surface in a suitable class. ANNIHILATE has been racing well chasing home Easy Campese and Merchant Boss his past couple. MONSEAGLE has won his past couple back in class.

RACE 2 - 12:07PM PFD Food Services Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

GRINT comes off a good effort when beaten 1.9 lengths behind Fashion Dog here. He has the wide gate but was scratched from a very winnable race midweek for this. The Clarken/O’Shea stable have ABSINTHE  a Toronado filly who was a $160k yearling and won a recent Murray Bridge trial beating Rokabye Warrior, stablemate HIDDEN WITNESS was third in that trial and she was $325k yearling. RICHE D’AMOUR debuts for Ros Day and has won two trials. He’s a Rich Enuff gelding out of La Poupee who had ability and they went up $11 before he was smashed into $3.90 when markets opened. HALLIWELL debuts for Michael Hickmott and won a recent Murray Bridge trial. He was $8 into $4.40 when markets opened. JURA VAUDOIS ran well on debut back in February behind Stokomo and then resumed catching the eye behind Fashion Dog here. He draws a nice gate and should run well. CARIBBEAN BREEZE was placed at Gawler on debut in February before another good effort when 2nd behind Magic Field at Gawler last time. NY KEE comes off a good effort running 2nd behind First Maid at Balaklava.

RACE 3 - 12:42PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap (1800 METRES)

ALCHIAN is a Victorian who comes off a nice 2.3 lengths Cranbourne win beating Legatus over 2025m in May. He’s fresh, nicely drawn and looks well placed here. TIPPA comes off a return to winning form at Murray Bridge last week when he was ridden off the speed before scored a 2.2 length win over Ichibansan. He gets in well after the claim and looks a danger. MARK OF THE MAN is another Victorian who was a Stawell winner three starts back and OK at Swan Hill last time when 3rd beaten 2.75 lengths behind Unseen Ruler. KIMMORLEY was a Warrnambool winner in May and beaten 5.7 lengths behind Burlington Gate at Ballarat last time.

RACE 4 - 1:17PM The Fotobase Group Handicap (1540 METRES)

CHIPSON just missed behind Bulls On Parade at Murray Bridge two runs back before another good effort when beaten 3.3 lengths behind Brave Star on the Parks. He gets out in trip which looks ideal, and he is a dual winner here. NICAJON has a win and two placings form his three starts here and comes off a solid effort when 3rd behind MERCHANT BOSS who was back to his best form with a dominant 4.2 length win on the Parks last time. He has a wide gate but should be a factor again. WILLYBEAFACTOR has been good in three runs since resuming the latest beaten a length behind Master Montaro on the Parks. He draws a middle gate and jumps in trip for the first time. POINTLESS PRAISE resumes here and was a Balaklava winner back in February and may need it a touch further but is a winner fresh.

RACE 5 - 1:52PM SkyCity Handicap (1540 METRES)

HYPEMAN has been in the money at six of seven starts and led when 2nd behind Lotus Tower at Sandown last time. The wide draw is against but he was $1.50 winning at Cranbourne three starts back and looks perfectly placed here. DUNLOE has won two of his past four starts both at Ballarat the latest on the synthetic beating Montjeuify at big odds. He draws a middle gate and should run well. SIR REGINALD has ability and looked the winner before being nailed by Mortgage Man last time and should run well from a good barrier.

RACE 6 - 2:27PM Thomas Farms Handicap (2500 METRES)

THE GENIUS brings some solid Victorian form here having finished 4th at his past three the latest in a handy race at Flemington behind Berkshire Breeze. He’s well weighted on that effort and gets Jason Holder. FARAG is another Victorian who comes out of the same race and was beaten 13 lengths when resuming. He won four in succession last campaign the last two at Sandown and should be an improver. JAYKAYANN has been racing well and has form around some handy types over the border. He was 4th behind hard To Cross at Sandown three runs back, chased home Mathew at Cranbourne before he was beaten 0.7 lengths behind Sky Horse at Sandown last time. He draws out but should be in the mix again. BRAWL was $3 into $2.80 and only fair when beaten 5.3 lengths behind Red Patrol, who has run well since, at Mount Gambier and draws a nice barrier. HOOPS comes off a Swan Hill placing behind Dashing Duchess and was a winner on the Parks back in April beating A Samurai Mind. AMMO AMOR is another who has been around the mark without winning and OK last time beaten 1.9 lengths behind Test The Law at Murray Bridge last week.

RACE 7 - 3:07PM Sportsbet Bet With Mates Handicap (1200 METRES)

LET’S GET DOWN was a $2.60 favourite when beating Walk Like An Angel at his local debut at Murray Bridge and should run well despite the wide barrier. FASHION DOG was a $21 chance when he came off the speed to win nicely beating Grint here last time. LUCILLE ROSE is an interesting runner, first-up since February and she resumed with a very good Strathalbyn win last campaign and can run well.

RACE 8 - 3:45PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1200 METRES)

KEITEL has won four of eight starts and was a $3.90 favourite winning at Sale last time out. He draws the inside with Jason Holder riding and should take some beating. Stablemate BEWS has won three of his 13 starts and was $4 favourite when beaten 2 lengths behind Why Worry at Caulfield last time. SWEET BABY BOOM was impressive riding the speed before beating Metro Legend by 1.8 lengths on the Parks last time. Stablemate EPISODIC is low flying and won three races here in SA before she beaten 0.4 lengths behind Subliminal at Caulfield when a $3.50 favourite last start. LOSESOMEWINMORE is a promising type who has been favourite at three of his past four and was a Flemington winner two starts back beating Sioux Spirit before beaten 3 lengths behind Veloce Carro there last start and draws wide. Stablemate KEEP READING was a good winner first-up from a spell on the Parks, stablemate Klabel was 3rd in that race and has won since. He went to Caulfield last start and was good beaten 2.6 lengths behind La Danseuse Rouge which is solid form for this. STARLITE VALLEY draws a nice gate and is weighted to give this a shake on the back of a good win two runs back before a solid effort last time in the Sweet Baby Boom race. VALIDATED had no luck at G3 level three runs back and was again luckless on the Parks when beaten 5.2 lengths behind Sweet Baby Boom last time. STYLISH ENUFF has won his past couple in Victoria, MAGNETIC EDGE can run well fresh.

RACE 9 - 4:20PM Sportsbet Fast Form Handicap (1100 METRES)

SACHEM caught the eye coming from the back at his SA debut when 2nd behind Aviatress here and has been close-up in two runs since, the latest running 2nd behind Three Rings, who has won again since, at Murray Bridge. He looks hard to beat back in trip. SPORTSBEAT is unbeaten in two runs here and comes off a good win beating Talkin’ Italian. CHALICE WELL is a Victorian who was good running 3rd behind Major Share at Bendigo last time and she should be in the mix at nice odds. COOL THE JETS was up on speed when beaten 5.6 lengths behind Three Rings at Murray Bridge last time and both his wins have been here. STARTIDE was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back and can run well in a race like this.
