RACE 1 - 11:32AM Quayclean Handicap (1000 METRES)

BOONIE is a former Victorian who looks ready to win after he was beaten 0.6 lengths behind Klabel at Murray Bridge last time. He draws a nice gate and gets the claim. ASTON RAPOVA was good late when beaten 0.9 lengths in the Klabel race at Murray Bridge, he’s two from three this track and trip and gets blinkers for the first time. OLD TIME ROCK draws a sticky gate but does run well fresh and was a Moonee Valley winner in February and placed at Cranbourne before a break. FOXY FEMME has been in the money at all five runs here and was beaten 2.3 lengths behind El Salto last time. She draws a to get a good run and will be in the mix. SQUAD was a Cranbourne winner two starts back and gets an inside gate with the claim. CHOSEN BLONDE has a good record here but draws out. SQUAD draws an inside gate and was a Cranbourne winner two runs back.

RACE 2 - 12:07PM Hahn Handicap (1000 METRES)

OVEREXTEND is a former NSW galloper first-up in SA for the Bain/Taylor stable. He has a good record, was a Gosford winner in May and draws a nice gate. WALLY WEST gets the blinkers back on here and he was OK beaten 3.6 lengths in 4th behind The Great Baby at Murray Bridge last time. He’s been well found early in betting. MAGIC FIELD comes off a 4.3 length win at Gawler beating Caribbean Breeze and maps well from a middle barrier. PUTANOTHERCOININ was a winner here in November and then placed twice. He resumed with an OK effort when 4th behind Everglade at Murray Bridge and he should give this a shake from a good barrier. SHADOWFAX will be on speed from a good barrier.

RACE 3 - 12:42PM Croser Handicap (1950 METRES)

ICHIBANSAN has improved since the blinkers went back on running 2nd behind Bellini Miss here before beating home all but Tippa, who has won again since, at Murray Bridge. CLEITUS was a Werribee winner two runs back and then followed up with a 3rd behind Parvati Party at Ballarat. He draws the inside and should give this a shake. TAPA CAPALL has been racing well and was 2nd on the outer track behind Favourite Child two runs back before running 3rd behind New York Hurricane. IMPOSING SUSPECT came off the speed to win at Mt Gambier last time out and draws a nice barrier. MARIOTA was a Mornington winner on debut and was placed at Echuca last time when he made good ground. SCAMSTER draws a good gate and looks over the odds. HAYAI MESU is on the quick back-up from Gawler on Wednesday when she had her chance.

RACE 4 - 1:17PM Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap (1550 METRES)

CAWDOR is a former import who was $4.60 into $3 at his Aus debut at Sandown when beaten 5.57 lengths behind La Ferrari at Sandown before being beaten 5.32 lengths behind Georgie Get Mad at Flemington. DEGRAVES has won four of 10 starts and was too good for Think ‘N’ Fly at Flemington three runs back and comes off a win over Heart Of Puissance at Moonee Valley last time out back in September. He is a winner fresh but does have plenty of weight. PRECIOUS CHARM was a Warrnambool winner in May and beaten 4.12 lengths behind Arqana at Sandown last time. NOT USUAL GLORIOUS gets the conditions he likes, is back in trip and drawn a touch awkwardly. Stablemate PRINCE JOFRA draws a good gate and has a handy record here.

RACE 5 - 1:57PM Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1000 METRES)

LINGANI was impressive first-up from a spell beating Inner Sanctum at Balaklava and then stepped up in class and was solid when beaten 1.5 lengths behind Surprise Coming at Murray Bridge last time. She gets an inside draw. SETOSA was placed at Moonee Valley in December and has won a recent Pakenham trial nicely for this. Stablemate NICISH was a winner here two starts back before she led and was beaten 6.9 lengths behind Hot Off. She also draws a nice barrier. STOKKE was well backed and won impressively at Mount Gambier on debut and went to Sandown and didn’t have a lot of luck when beaten a length running 6th. She stuck on strongly at Ballarat last time when she led and was beaten 5.75 lengths in 2nd behind Pharari and is sure to run well here. DESERT DANCING won consecutive races before a break, has trialled OK and she draws a nice barrier. ZANTHRON was a winner here in February and then beaten 2 lengths by MINTULEE before a break. He's trialled well and draws a good gate. KALASEC was placed in the MM3&4YO race at Murray Bridge in March and resumed beaten 8.3 lengths behind Surprise Coming there. Stablemate VINTAGE STAR was a winner on the outer track two runs back beating The Stalker before being beaten 5.43 lengths at Flemington behind Right To party after leading. ANOTHERHOUSE draws wide but comes out of some good race during the carnival.

RACE 6 - 2:37PM Sportsbet Oaklands Plate (1400 METRES)

OMANYALA is in the Busuttin/Young stable and was a Wodonga winner on debut before going to Sandown and being beaten 0.75 lengths by Golden Warrior over the 1400m. He draws a slightly sticky gate but looks well placed here. LOVELY was a $2.45 favouirte winner at Pakenham last time out over the 1400m and draws a nice gate here. CAVITY BAY had backing on debut back in December and resumed to lead throughout and score at Swan Hill last time out. The stable has a great record in this race. BIG BRUTE was impressive on debut when he came from off the speed to score a 1.4 length win at Balaklava and has been $15 into $8.50 since markets opened, TALISAY was 3rd in the same race. COLMAR thrived in the soft conditions to beat DANCING STORM by 1.5 lengths at Murray Bridge last time out.

RACE 7 - 3:12PM Happy 18th Cooper Barlow Handicap (1250 METRES)

GREAT MAXIMUS comes off a good effort at Murray Bridge when 3rd beaten 2.5 lengths behind Surprise Coming. He gets the rails draw and was a good Oakbank winner four runs back. SACHEM is on the seven-day back-up and goes from 1100m up to 1250m here after chasing home The Hass on the outer track last week. His first run in SA when 2nd behind Aviatress was very good and he can run well. Stablemate THE SEVEN SEAS was beaten 5.1 lengths behind Starlite Valley at her SA debut and has trialled well since. KATIM’S CLUB has been runner-up at her past couple the latest beaten a half-length behind The Great Baby at Murray Bridge. FLY ON BYE has won two of his past three in Victoria and was a Wangaratta winner beating Dalhart. He’s been on speed his past three and draws a middle gate. HEADPHONES resumes and was in good form before a break winning on the outer track beating Humboldt, she has been placed at two of her four starts here on the Parks.

DASHING DUCHESS has won four of her eight starts and was beaten 6 lengths behind The Map in the Andrew Ramsden before going to Swan Hill and scoring a 0.75 lengths win over Wuddzz. She draws out but looks perfectly placed here in a race like this. LAKE’S FOLLY has been in great form and was good running 2nd behind Hasta La Fiorente at Murray Bridge before she was well ridden to score a 1.7 length win here beating DIXIE WHISTLER who has won since. BLUSHING TYCOON was a Ballarat winner in March and placed at Cranbourne two runs back before he was beaten 1.7 lengths behind Gottabesavvy at Sandown. He’ll run well down in the weights. HEART OF PUISSANCE was beaten a length behind Picaroon in the Casterton Cup two runs back and then beaten 14.8 lengths behind Cadmus at Sandown.

RACE 9 - 4:25PM Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap (1400 METRES)

BRAVE STAR was 4th behind Pure Paradise on the outer track in May before she was too good for Maracourt here last time. He draws out with a big weight but should take beating again. MERCHANT BOSS is on the seven-day back up when beaten 2.2 lengths in 6th behind Willybeafactor on the outer track last week. He’s been in the money at seven of nine starts here and should run well. ARTILLERY was beaten 3.6 lengths behind Nicish here on debut and followed up with a good win beating Six Stars. He draws a nice barrier and should be in the mix. KOMACHI has OK form on soft ground and placed on a heavy, he was beaten 5.9 lengths behind The Great Baby last time. AIGULETTE was good beaten 2.3 lengths in the same race and gets a middle gate. EASY BEAST loves the wet and draws the inside.
